I see Nuno has got the Everton job, details have been finalised and he will be announced early next week.

1.) 12 Jun 2021 07:07:33
? Where did u get that from.

2.) 12 Jun 2021 07:21:09
Yes just seen it on BBC sport.

3.) 12 Jun 2021 12:30:46
Not quite how I read it, a strong favourite is what was quoted.

4.) 12 Jun 2021 12:48:23
BBC says Nuno's agent is 'expecting' to receive an offer in writing from Everton.

5.) 12 Jun 2021 13:50:42
Sky, BBC and all the major newspapers are saying he has the job. They are now going a step further and saying why he has it and that he apparently has a huge transfer budget.

Personally I think this lends credit to both stories. That he left because of money and also that he was sacked. I'm not sure how I feel about him taking over another Prem club. Especially one we consider a rival in the sense of battling for be breaking top 6. But oh well.

As nasty as it sounds I hope he plays defensive football and has no back up like he did here. I also hope he has no plan B for them and that under Lage we score like Benfica did under him.

6.) 12 Jun 2021 16:20:19
Nuno to Everton looks a done deal, although not done yet. Will be interesting to see Bruno versus Nuno next season and the contrasting styles. Realistically, Nuno will have a better squad with Everton, and will be much more of a threat to us than if he went to Crystal Palace. Bruno will have his work cut out. Will be strange seeing Nuno in the opposition technical area. There's no turning back, Fosun have to step up and support Bruno in the transfer market.

7.) 12 Jun 2021 20:20:09
Got over missing his family rather quickly didn't he?
Anyway Nuno is the past we'll be forever grateful for what he did at Wolves but the now is Bruno, know what I mean Arry?

8.) 12 Jun 2021 23:33:41
Well what this does show is the Fosun are absolutely ruthless in their persuit of success and Nuno's 3 years of amazing progress counted for absolutely nothing when measured against 1 year of relative failure.
No excuses were allowed: the injury crisis, the appalling transfer business done (even though all the evidence would appear to show that the transfer business was not even done by him! ) or even the abscence of either a rest for the squad or a preseason - ironically due to our hugely succeful season the year before.
Clearly however whilst Nuno has carried the can Fosun are not stupid by any means - you don't get to be a multi billion dollar company if you are stupid - so Fousn HQ ( i. e. Shi and the club's ultimate boss) will now be on notice and further failure will not be accepted.
If my experience in dealing with companies from the far east is anything to go by - I worked for 3 Japanese firms includng spending time in Tokyo - Shi, if Lage is not an immediate success, may well find himself promoted to run a business for them in the USA. Sadly for him though not one that operates out of LA but a v small one based in Juneau. It will be a long posting taking him all the way to retirement.
We can therfore be certain that everyone from Shi down to the ground staff is now fully focussed on making sure next season is a success.
Fingers crossed especially for Jeff as it gets v v cold in Juneau!

16 Apr 2018 20:48:48
Looks like we've contacted Talisca's agent already?

1.) 16 Apr 2018 22:48:47
Yes I read that to I think besiktas has first option on him as he’s been on loan but I don’t think they can afford to buy him.

2.) 16 Apr 2018 23:03:36
Wouldn't believe anything that site says.

16 Dec 2017 17:05:54
Tiquinho Soares being linked again by sportwitness.co.uk.

Sign him up.

1.) 16 Dec 2017 20:37:51
Where! Link please.

21 Aug 2017 22:04:22
From Ojogo.

Rafa Soares was also absent fro training today, duly authorized by the club to deal with personal matters,

1.) 21 Aug 2017 22:19:19
If Everton were to buy big name centre forward and Calvert - Lewis became available on loan, he would be a brilliant option. Unfortunately he was that good tonight there is probably no chance Everton loaning him out. Shame!

2.) 21 Aug 2017 22:40:42
Wrong soares, rafa soares is the left back going to Fulham.

3.) 21 Aug 2017 22:42:02
Wrong soares, rafa soares is the left back going to Fulham.

4.) 21 Aug 2017 22:48:04
A left back? I assumed it was Tiquinho Soares we were linked with as every one is talking about a forward we're about to sign. Well shows what I know I guesd.

5.) 21 Aug 2017 22:54:16
He's signing for Fulham.

6.) 21 Aug 2017 23:25:19
Tiquinho Soares and Nathael Julan. One on loan, the other permanently.

Mason to be sold, Zyro and Oniangue to be loaned out.

Possibly Dicko and Edwards to go too - the former on loan.

Bring on the revolution.

7.) 22 Aug 2017 09:56:38
Wouldn't be upset at any of the above happening. None of the outgoings are likely to be first choices and Edwards and Mason don't fit into our new system. Edwards needs to be playing regularly to keep his place in Welsh squad, so has to seek a move. Didn't feel Dicko gave us any sort of lift when he came on against Cardiff. Quite the opposite and he should have squared the ball across goal rather than shooting into side netting. Looked at that a few times and it was a good chance to get a point we didn't really deserve.

8.) 22 Aug 2017 11:10:01
Departure of Edwards should be made easier for the player given the service to Wolves over the years. Unlikely to get a new club willing to pay his current salary so we should pay off remainder of this years contract to ease a departure. Can't see him being used if he stays. Need to free up some space in the squad.

9.) 22 Aug 2017 12:44:06
What's the point of paying the remainder of his contract? You're basically saying Wolves should pay him his full wage and then let him go and play for someone else. No. If someone puts in an acceptable bid then sell him if not he'll be a good squad player.

10.) 22 Aug 2017 13:08:37
Is Edwards really history? A couple of midfield injuries and he's right back in the mix again.

11.) 22 Aug 2017 15:28:40
We could have done with Edwards on Saturday. He would have handled the 'Cardiff boots boys'.

15 Jan 2017 11:01:57
Hearing we've made an improved bid of Β£1.25m for Marshall.

1.) 15 Jan 2017 15:13:27
Should get him now

Ronaldo today.

"I spoke when I shouldn't have done but something is going to happen. It wasn't the right time, but I was honest, " said Ronaldo.

"In a week I'll say something because the fans have always supported me and are in my heart. I don't speak much, but when I speak, I speak.

1.) 27 May 2018 22:30:45
bhamwolf wots this 4 bud.

2.) 28 May 2018 00:53:25
50-1 for Ronaldo to join Wolves with bookies.
Can you believe the players we're being linked with, someone wake me up, I must be dreaming.
Of course he won't come, but to be even linked with him, wow. πŸ˜€πŸΊ.

3.) 28 May 2018 10:01:32
Dave the media will link us with everyone and their dog so it ain't worth waking for.

4.) 28 May 2018 14:25:26
1 in 50 is almost no chance, although if it was really no chance, why isn't he 1000/ 1? I think it's because all kinds of things can happen. OK, Ronaldo is far out. But the bookies are preparing to pay out for someone big by the looks of it.

5.) 29 May 2018 23:20:01
Haha guys that just ain't EVER going to happen! The bookies fundamentally changed the way they do footy odds after the Lec Prem win. Previous to that all long shots were like 2500-1, they realised after being stung with the Lec win that the same peeps would bet on the impossible either way so reined the odds right in! At 50-1 he's probs more likely to sign for the Harlem Globetrotters! Considering he wants to leave Real cause he doesn't think he gets enough money we would have to tell FFP to do one for it to even be 50-1, still always good for a giggle eh ;)

22 Jan 2018 21:19:53
I hope we give Graham a chance Saturday in place of Costa because at the moment Costa couldn't cross the road.

1.) 22 Jan 2018 21:26:36
Where is the backup options, Zyro gone, Marshall going apparently, Graham, Mason, In the exit lounge Vinagre, Batth Hause not coming up to scratch, we need some quality signings quick.

2.) 22 Jan 2018 23:24:55
Vinagre has just finished a 3 match suspension. Saturday was the 1st game back for Batth after suspension. Bit harsh to critise those 2 over the last 3 matches.

3.) 23 Jan 2018 09:27:55
Vinagre imo has been excellent considering we brought him to stick him in under 23 development squad he looks a good prospect and has shown something so I for one hope he gets a couple more chances and shows what he can do.

4.) 23 Jan 2018 10:28:21
Just a hunch, really. But in the absence of a new striker, I'd draft Mason back into the team, perhaps as sub for Leo. I know he's not Premier quality but he scores a few and I think will work well in Nuno's 343 system.

5.) 23 Jan 2018 11:13:38
Hednesford clear the list away.
Vinagre has played well in most matches for sure.
House had one bad game that does not make him not up to scratch as you put it.
I am not a Batth fan but even I can see the improvement in his play under Nunos coaching staff, he is not the best but have improved enough to hold on to as back up.
Yes we need fresh legs but getting rid of 3 above is no answer.

30 Aug 2017 20:54:46
Its big Vince guys.

1.) 30 Aug 2017 22:15:54
No it isn't guys.

2.) 30 Aug 2017 23:12:46
Oh yes it is! 😊.

3.) 31 Aug 2017 00:07:25
He's behind you.

4.) 31 Aug 2017 09:33:42
Oh no he isn't.

25 Aug 2017 14:12:19
Edwards off to Reading.

Finally the clearout of muppet McCarthy's dross will be over.

1.) 25 Aug 2017 14:38:37
If it happens thanks for your efforts Dave, but were aimin higher now!

2.) 25 Aug 2017 15:17:29
strange sky are reporting it but the E&S haven't said a word. Spiers/ Judah? Even Tim Nash hasn't reported it. Even so think its the right time for the move. Better caliber of players now.

3.) 25 Aug 2017 17:20:13
If it is true, then I wish him all the best. Dave Edwards has been a great servant to the club. Too many idiots on here knocking him, should know better.

4.) 25 Aug 2017 17:41:24
I agree he has been a regular for 4 seasons and scored more goals than most even if his style of play isn't what most of us want to see he will do well at a club that attacks through midfield very much the English style but we're continental now!

5.) 25 Aug 2017 18:24:30
I'm not in the know about anything that goes on at Wolves and don't confess to be but a good honest friend of mine who knows Dangerous said that he spoke to him and Dave Edwards said "Wolves are going up". He went into other details as to why we are but the point being is that he didn't say "We are going up". That's what stood out for me. Dave wants first team football, he wants to go to the World Cup (can't blame him for that) and he is wise enough to know that younger more gifted players have been brought in in his place. Good player. Top top bloke from what I hear and I for one applaud him and wish him luck. Great servant.

21 Jul 2017 20:31:38
Looks like we're competing with derby for the signature of Bakary Sako.

Drink it in guys.

1.) 21 Jul 2017 20:44:53
Love him back, what an attacking forward line we'd have, at this rate no one will want to play us.

2.) 21 Jul 2017 21:03:36
Where have you heard This? I think he'd be more likely to go to Brighton or Huddersfield tbh.

3.) 21 Jul 2017 22:06:40
It's on the Transfer Centre
Says us, Derby and the Bluenoses
I think would prefer him to Afobe because he is cheaper, will score us goals for sure and still good relationship with all wolves fans.

4.) 22 Jul 2017 07:47:51
Come on Wolves, get him back. He knows the club, he has rapport with the fans, he has been successful in the division, he is strong and powerful enough to play up top as well as the left, and what a left foot! To me its a no brainer if he is available.

5.) 22 Jul 2017 11:07:29
I don't see this transfer happening as Sako is playing for Palace today in Hong Kong. We can hope though.
