Well, it's half time at Stamford Bridge and for some strange reason, Fat Frank isn't raging and playing hell about the latest awful referee decision from which Mount scored. I wonder why?

As we are quickly heading towards the New Year, here are my forecasts for the rest of the season:
1. Wolves to amass 100+ points and win the Title
2. Wolves to finish 9 points ahead of second place
3. Promotion will be sealed with 3 games to go
4. By end March, Fosun to announce the Steve Bull Stand will be redeveloped during the close season.
What a great time to be a Wolves fan. Thank you Fosun!

1.) 20 Nov 2017 21:57:45
If Wolves finish 9 points ahead of second club then surely promotion was sealed long before there was 3 games left.

2.) 20 Nov 2017 22:52:15
I don't think 100 but we will get over 90.

3.) 21 Nov 2017 08:39:32
I just want to go up u lot don't care how or many points just up
As I've said before getting out of this league will be harder than staying up next season
Just think of the players we will attract being in the prem with the doe we have got and uncle George at our disposal!

4.) 21 Nov 2017 10:30:59
Wolfie22. With 4 games to go, the difference could be 6 points to second top and 7 to third. Wolves then win their next game, the number 2 and 3 clubs both lose and Wolves are promoted with 3 games to go. Thanks for trying to trip me up on a technicality when all I was doing with my first message was to give an optimistic view on the season. Are all your family baggies by any chance?

5.) 21 Nov 2017 18:41:27
ha ha ha Donny. I like it. You picked out one permutation out of possibly hundreds. Now how likely is that the form we are in and only going to get stronger. From an ex bookie to a possible punter what odds would you like on that happeningood?
Just enjoy the ride my friend and don't be looking over your shoulder.

6.) 21 Nov 2017 21:13:56
No problem wolfie22 and I would take 25-1 at this stage of the season for Wolves to fulfill my predictions (other than re-developing the Steve Bull Stand) . All the best mate.

7.) 22 Nov 2017 11:14:06
It all a bit of fun nothing serious there are 87 points left to play for if we win every game 87 added to the 38 we got =125 points to get 100 plus points we would have to drop 25 points 8 loss's 1 draw so on and so on lol maxium points in a season =138 if we get same points ratio in last 2 thirds of the season we end up with 114 points I int going down bookies as i. only ever won a £5 line down the mecca in bushbury (wolvo)

The latest rumour I've seen is that we're interested in a full back from Fleetwood Town. How about that? Linked to a £21m Brazilian midfielder from Barcelona to a FB from Fleetwood Town in the space of just a few days. It could ONLY be Wolves.

Doncaster Wolf

1.) 14 Jul 2016 16:59:29
Hahaha'yeh typical wolves' silks to potato sacks in the blink of an eye, still we have the two M's to laugh at, NOT!

2.) 14 Jul 2016 17:15:40
Really cannot see this takeover happening. Dragging it out way to much, really have my doubts about it now. Oh well ay. wolves ay we.

3.) 14 Jul 2016 17:20:23
Get a grip man, has someone been tipping chemicals in the Don again or something?

4.) 14 Jul 2016 17:30:05
The midfielder is from Benfica not Barcenlona unless you are suggesting that we are in for Rafina for another 21mil bid as that would be like Fifa (non- realistic)

5.) 14 Jul 2016 20:48:29
I'm glad you noticed the deliberate error; yes the rumoured £21m target is at Benfica, not Barca. Don't worry more-onWolf; I don't need chemicals in the river Don to hallucinate. The smell of your after shave is severe enough to cause this. Stay patient fellow Wolfies!

6.) 14 Jul 2016 20:48:30
No way will the staff be leaving at the end of the week, in fact Jackett is taking team to Ireland and remains in charge until deal is concluded, as yet no one is saying when that will be. Frustrating, yes, but let's get a grip. We've waited, in my case 40 years, and another X days I can live with.

PS I don't doubt all ITK are well intentioned but do us all a favour.

7.) 15 Jul 2016 02:12:33
Well said danceswithwolves

And for those knocking possible signing from Fleetwood, let's not forget where Leicester got Vardy from!
The FB in question is an Irish international with a host of clubs scouting him.

28 Aug 2014 19:49:17
Jamie O'Hara has left Wolves with immediate effect, following the cancellation of his contract by mutual consent. WONDERFUL!!

Doncaster Wolf

1.) 28 Aug 2014 22:42:18
Well, yes, except he walks away with who knows how much cash. Could be a million pounds for all we know.

2.) Great news

See wolves don't want to comment to much on this be interesting to see what we paid him for the rest of his contract

Hopefully this is due to a signing coming in?!

3.) With immediate effect.lets see if he moves faster than he did on the pitch.

4.) Well done 2m's for seein the bigger picture.

5.) 31 Aug 2014 20:03:08
Some of us thinking we should have paid off OHara last year. But there was still a chance we could transfer him. Hard to know where the sweet spot is, how long to keep a player before giving up.

17 May 2014 17:50:00
A couple of days back, I was talking to a Sheff Utd fan who claims to have been a long time family friend of Harry Maguire. He confirmed that Wolves are in for him and that Maguire is seriously considering the idea of joining Wolves. It's by no means decided yet but he IS interested. Good news I think if we get him as he has the potential to be a very good defender.

Doncaster Wolf

1.) Think harry would b a great signing and he himself deserves a chance in the championship with a great team in wolves

2.) Be surprised if it happens. cloughy quoting £4mil

3.) That's a fair point but what Cloughie asks and what he gets may well be two very different figures. Can he negotiate as well as Jez can?

4.) Asking £4 million for a League 1 defender in the last year of his contract Don't think so!

5.) Agree with the above, if the player wants to move . with one year left on contract they want get much because could easily wait till he runs out and go out on a free

6.) Harry Maguire is to sign a new 3 year deal with the blades this week. He's a home bird with big passion for the club and still lives with his family in sheffield.

7.) How anyone can resist Wolves is beyond me

That was a truly terrible, sickening performance; awful team selection, no apparent pattern of play, MGW and Silva totally out of their depth and when will people see and accept that Dendocker is useless? That back pass to Ruddy right at the end was all the proof you need. OK now I'm waiting for folks to attack me about Dendocker but I don't care - he isn't a footballer! BTW, Munichs 9 S'hampton 0 just about a week ago but they came here today and easily beat us.

I see the FA Cup match against Man Utd is an evening kick off. How unfortunate for all the Utd fans - let's be fair, it's a long trip for them all to get back to Surrey.

Lads, I reckon it might be time to make a slight alteration to our favourite Mary Hopkins song:

These are the days my friend,
We know they'll never end,
We'll sing and dance forever and a day,
We'll live the life we choose,
We'll fight and never lose,
We are the Wolves,
Oh yes we are the Wolves!

COYW!

First time post sorry to inform you mate but we use to sing that song in the south bank in the 80s . My favourite was lee marlins I was bor uder a wandering star, replaced by I was born under a wanderers scarf . Do you know we’re hell is hell is at West Brom heaven is at Molineux and that’s where I come from. Hell sure is West Brom and may it continue.

2.) 20 Nov 2017 22:55:30
Once upon a time there was a Tavern.

3.) 20 Nov 2017 23:25:37
Off went the speacial with the southbank in it
We did the albion in half a minute.

4.) 21 Nov 2017 23:58:12

Not a rumour, just a thought. I wonder, IF Wolves are still doing really well by the New Year, if Fosun will announce the redevelopment of the Steve Bull Stand next summer to match the Stan Cullis Stand. That also supposes that attendances by that time will be way up on last season, which I hope they will be. Anyone want to comment?

Doncaster Wolf

1.) 17 Aug 2017 11:38:25
Possibly Doncaster, I think when we get promoted and the mol is full to capacity week in week out it wouldn't surprise me if Fosun don't build a new stadium elsewhere in Wolverhampton. Possibly next 3-5 years time? Just a hunch.

2.) 17 Aug 2017 12:24:58
PT, you could easily be right about a new stadium but TBH I hope not. Molineux is our spiritual home and I would hate to see us move elsewhere, however I have total faith in Fosun to do the right thing for the club and supporters.

3.) 17 Aug 2017 13:13:30
I would hope that they would stay at Molineux and finish off the redevelopment.

4.) 17 Aug 2017 13:47:40
Depends on wether we can buy it back off the council, they ain't gunna waste money redevelopin if we don't own it.

The only reason the north bank was done was because morgan paid his own conpany too do it.

5.) 17 Aug 2017 14:16:59
I agree Rushtonwolves, it would depend on whether they can purchase it off the council. Let's face it if u rent a house your not going to pay for a conservatory to be built as your not the one who's going to profit. Well I wouldn't anyway.

6.) 17 Aug 2017 14:39:45
Rushtonwolves - Morgan's company didn't build the stand.

7.) 17 Aug 2017 15:46:29
Clives wolves - the conpany is a subsiduary of morgans.

8.) 17 Aug 2017 16:12:00
I know a guy who works at Wolves and sits on my committee at Wolves, he's definitely got his finger on the pulse.

If we get promotion, and the crowds follow there will be redevelopment, the Steve Bull is ancient and will be hauled down and joined at the ends to the North bank and Southbank respectively. This is not speculation, its sound financial sense, the plans are passed by the council and sit awaiting action.

If we had the crowds now, then the portable Seats to the left of the Southbank looking towards the Northbank would be insured, manned and open.

Take a look at the future on recent sightings, I will upload the picture now.

9.) 17 Aug 2017 16:33:23
Stu you are 100% right we only done phase 1 of redevelopment
Steve bull is next then the south bank
They did say they would leave the Billy Wright alone.

10.) 17 Aug 2017 16:40:14
Oh yes, I forgot to say, the council 100% do not want to move from our present site.

11.) 17 Aug 2017 18:04:23
Billy Wright stand will have a new tier as part of phase 4 however no planning permission have been submitted yet as no decision has been made regarding if this will be redeveloped or not.

12.) 17 Aug 2017 18:44:56
To the best of of knowledge the Buckingham Group group is completely independent of Redrow. If you have evidence otherwise then please point me to it.

I don't what to get stuck in the past, but I don't think rumours should get mixed in with facts. I know 'alternative facts' has come into fashion, but I prefer regular old fashion facts.

13.) 17 Aug 2017 20:09:06
Do I remember correctly didn't Sir Jack buy Wolves lock, stock and barrels including the land in and around Molineux?

14.) 17 Aug 2017 20:44:01
They said at the fans Parliament, "Fosun own everything now, apart from tne lease that is.

15.) 17 Aug 2017 22:05:46
On a 999 year lease since 2010.

16.) 19 Aug 2017 02:31:10
I heard Fosun want their own stadium design. Somewhat like the Emirates. Asda will have to make way though.

Terrible news about Ikeme:

Wolves and Nigeria goalkeeper Carl Ikeme is to begin chemotherapy after being diagnosed with acute leukaemia.

The Championship club say Ikeme, 31, returned "abnormal blood tests" during pre-season testing and further checks confirmed the diagnosis.

Ikeme has been with Wolves for his entire career, making more than 200 appearances for Wanderers including 33 in all competitions last season.

It's all very sad and a big shock but TBH I had a feeling for the last 3 months or so that Nuno would leave quite amicably at the end of this season. My hope is that he will go back home now and spend some quality time with his family, who he must have missed terribly during the last few months. As for a replacement, my first choice would be Conceiacao and the one I do NOT want under any circumstances is Rafa Benitez. He has shown far too many times that he hates Wolves so there should be NO place for him at Molineux.

I disagree davetcb. He has huge experience, would be a very good signing and if we get him I would let Baath go, keep Hause and Miranda but probably let Miranda move on in the summer.

Well said North bank62! I also remember the wonderful team of the 70s with players like the Doog, King John, Waggy, Frankie, Mike Bailey, Kenny Hibbitt etc was wonderful but sadly unappreciated in some ways due to the comparisons with Stan Cullis' teams. In fact IMHO that is the only team since our 1960 FA Cup Winning side that can be compared to our current squad. Our present team of all stars has the ability and talent to be even better than the 70s team and don't forget that Fosun (may God bless them! ) will be spending big again in the New Year. COYW! In Nuno we trust! Viva los lobos!

I believe that while Buendia is undoubtedly a good player, Vitor has much greater potential and I am also sure that in 18 months or so he will be a fixture in a very good Portugal team. Vitor gets my vote.

The young lads did very well indeed; Vitinha finally gives us a positive midfield that can drive forward, RAN had his best game and Otasowie did a really good job. It was also great to see Kilman finally given a run out as well. Let's hope Nuno won't bench them all again for the next match.
