According to Futbol Leonardo Campana has been signed.

1.) 16 Jan 2020 20:01:33
He doesn't seem like an obvious first choice. more of a backup you throw in the reserves. In fairness I know nothing about the lad.

Not overly excited with this one if true.

21 Aug 2017 14:31:04
The Pundits say Wolves need a tall, skillful, quick striker. Hmmmm What about Jon Dadi Bodvarsson?

1.) 21 Aug 2017 14:43:30
I don't think the adjectives fitted at the right level of quality, can do better and anyway it's too late so move on.

2.) 21 Aug 2017 17:18:47
Jon Dadi? The stats say we need a goal-scoring striker, meaning about a goal every other match. Big Dadi never fitted the bill.
Move on, nothing to see there.

3.) 21 Aug 2017 17:28:49
The same Bodvarsson who scored 1 goal as a striker?

No time for sentiment with the new regime, bigger and better things than Bodvarsson.

4.) 21 Aug 2017 17:45:15
Yeah let's get Dadi! He could hold the ball up, head nor score great striker he is! He hasn't scored this season yet let's move on personal fantasies about players aside. Sounds like Ulf and Adobe/ the wolves brand. 🙈🙈🙈.

5.) 21 Aug 2017 17:47:21
Nuno wants someone who has the fancy footwork and audacity to grab a goal. PSG unfortunately outbid us on Neymar but we might get someone aspiring to be like him.

Yes, people wanting Crouch, Woods or even the return of Fletcher might realise we could have kept Bod.

6.) 21 Aug 2017 18:53:10
I need to switch predictive spell off. That was *couldnt and *Afobe.

7.) 21 Aug 2017 18:55:45
Nathael Julan is tall skillful and quick, people on Twitter say he is going to be announced tomorrow there sources are "reliable people" and not sites.

8.) 21 Aug 2017 20:10:30
I've heard he's a bit like Adebayor. He can't be amazing as he'd be at Arsenal, Ac Milan or Barcelona (where all the best frenchies go) .

Here's hoping. But I would have thought he'd be mainly be an impact sub?

9.) 22 Aug 2017 00:18:07
Bodvarsesson was rubbish. A big mistake. We must go for Oliveira and Julan.

10.) 22 Aug 2017 13:11:43
I don't know anything about Julan other than he's playing at an average French team and other clubs aren't rushing to sign him.

Hard to believe he's the key to winning the league but then again I'm not a talent scout.

Can't see Origi is actually a possibility if he was played against Man u.

1.) 19 Jan 2020 22:34:34
If you remember it was reported that we had agreed a fee last summer but that he had chosen to take his chances at Pool. If that was the case then I'm not sure why he would leave now considering his stock has gone up with some crucial goals since. Besides someone said it perfectly last week, no way he'd walk from the chance of a Prem medal!

2.) 20 Jan 2020 13:01:39
I believe we did have a fee for Origi agreed last summer. We also had a strong bid in for Tammy Abraham in January 2019 window, which would have gone through but for the grey area in his duel registration with Villa and Chelsea. Either one of these signings would have been great for us, so you have to give credit to Nuno and Fosun.

16 Jan 2020 08:14:07
I've got an idea to get around the crap hand ball rule! All players should have their arms amputated!

1.) 16 Jan 2020 08:58:55
For me neves didn't do much. mind you a lot didn't . but i'm getting dissapointed with him. jimenez would av buried that chance befire xmas . maybe we should go to a 4 4 2 formation when these are all fit
Ant one agree.

2.) 16 Jan 2020 09:33:06
No Jota or Coady?

3.) 16 Jan 2020 11:12:44
I agree, but it is not just Neves.
Doherty and Jonny look a pale imitation of the players of last season, our back three has been found out, without Boly we concede too many goals, Neves just seems to pass sideways and doesn't take the game by the scruff of the neck like he used to and Jimenez is needing a couple of goals and some support up front.
I think we need 5 players bringing in.

4.) 16 Jan 2020 16:59:56
Does makes me laugh when peeps go 'without X key player WE struggle'. well doesn't matter who ya sign. that's the case for everyone! Yes Pool have done well this year but they are mostly walking the league cause City let Kompany go then Laporte got injured. so if injuries to key players affect a squad of that depth and quality then is it that surprising it hits the rest SO hard?!

15 Jul 2019 09:35:36
We've all seen the Daily Telegraph comments from Nuno. What are we to make of it? Nuno wants to buy quality players, but as yet hasn't. Is it because deals have just gone his way, is it that he hasn't identified players he wants or (the least desirable) the owners won't release funds to do buy?

29 Nov 2018 09:36:19
I saw that the Wolves site has the 'headline', "Nuno calls for consistency ahead of Cardiff clash". I don't think so Nuno. I think your grasp of the English language needs a bit of work. The last thing we need is 'consistency'. At least not of the recent past.

1.) 29 Nov 2018 16:37:09
I think he means not making mistakes.

03 Aug 2018 09:59:43
Just read Afobe's account of his transfer to Stoke. All I can say is that some players will think twice about coming to Wolves if they think the club wil just use them as a commodity to make a profit.

1.) 03 Aug 2018 11:35:54
yer i'd be gutted been on 50k and had to move up the rd for then same.

2.) 03 Aug 2018 18:39:10
All I’ll say is whatever anyone does for a living or not. That’s includes the bosses of Fosun, there’s a right and wrong way to conduct your business. I imagine it’s wrong whatever and whoever may experience what happened to Afobe would be pissed is all I’m saying. Others will be warned or wary at the very least won’t they? ⚽️😉😘

Life goes on.

3.) 03 Aug 2018 19:19:55
BYW, I accept loyalty is fragile in football players parlance. ⚽️😉👍.

4.) 03 Aug 2018 22:34:08
Afobe is at his level of ability in the EFL.

I would rather be told the hard facts if i wasnt thought to be good enough to play at a level .

Yes Wolves signed the guy, how did Stoke know he would be available and 12 days later sign him. He will do well at ambitious Stoke and it will all be a distant memory.

Thats life.

Fosun said that they an investment company and the purpose of such a company is to make a profit. Fosun want to make a profit by making Wolves successful. They are in it for the long haul.

Nuno's army. I agree. We have players in China playing the last game there on the 21st of July and the first game in the Europa is on the 25th. Fly back from China and play a few days later? No. Cav and Costa didn't get to play much last season, this is a chance for them to show if they can regain what was very good form. We can't play the same first team all season not if we do well in Europe and the Fa cup.

Unless they get sold before we get chance to see them.

A lot of chatter about nothing. Why would Neves or Jimenez want to leave to sit on a bench for most of the time? Why would Wolves sell them for anything less than a fortune? Why would they send back Cutrone if they didn't have something definite in the pipeline? As always, we should trust in Nuno to do the job he's been doing very well up to now. If you do that you'll find you won't have anything to idly pontificate about.

That interview has reassured me. It makes sense really. What company opens a Mega store and expects people would buy the shirt of a team which doesn't do very well? None that are in business. And Fosun are.

Personally, I would prefer him to be going to Russia. At least he won't get a signal on his mobile there.

I agree with the above post that the most disturbing thing is that no one at Wolves have come out and said, "hands off. He's not for sale". The management know Wolves fans almost idolise the bloke. If we are to succeed in the PL we need players like Nevis. I don't mind Wolves bee a bit of a 'shop window' in the Championship, but now we're up the Management should back up their claims that they want Wolves to be a top club in Europe by holding on to one of Europe's top players. I they don't then all of what they have said has been B. S.
Lets see if he's on the pitch tomorrow.

I agree. We've sold or loaned some good players to teams we'll be playing during this season and buying ones which have no experience of the championship.
