I agree with Roy Keane in that Wolves do not play exciting brave football except for the odd five minutes here and there. The only exception being the Palace game. When they are exciting and brave, no one can beat us. Unfortunately, from before the end of last season, it's been the same situation. Last season we all put it down to fatigue. This season there is no excuse.

Agree mate, it is time to try a new approach on the pitch. 4-4-2
Also var it's awful when it goes against us, but it will even itself out. I'm sure over the season,
We can't keep starting so sluggish in first half of our games, I can't weigh up why, it's as if we aren't prepared to express ourselves, then when we go behind we get going
Strange indeed.

2.) 09 Nov 2020 21:39:03
Said it before 4231 would be a ideal formation I think, but end of the day Nuno is manager not me and he knows a lot more than me.

3.) 10 Nov 2020 13:55:59
Greyleg Nono will never go 442 agree we should start every game the way se did agains Palace but for 90 mins not just second half 3 tough games comming up got to be on it from the start to finish.

4.) 11 Nov 2020 17:47:41
Moit been an oideya two git spellcheck les.

5.) 11 Nov 2020 19:30:58
Point taken Old Wolf senior moment Nuno LoL liking the black country spelling mate.

6.) 12 Nov 2020 19:01:10
Coady not even on the bench.
That's loyalty for you
Well done Southgate ☹️.

7.) 12 Nov 2020 20:38:45
Probably just annoyed that Coady has more of an influence on the team than he does. 🤣.

Reports in the Mirror that Wolves are willing to sell Traore for 40 million.

goggs1959

1.) 01 Sep 2020 06:18:26
They won't sell him while he's got the virus.

2.) 01 Sep 2020 08:52:10
Mirror again that paper is as bad as brum mail just prints stuff for giggles.
Wolves have already valued Traore at £100million.

3.) 01 Sep 2020 11:54:51
Hi Rated,
£100 mil is probably the pre-the virus price. If Wolves had valued Doherty pre-the virus it would have been a lot more than £15 mil I think.

4.) 01 Sep 2020 12:27:14
Yeah true deep throat mate but I think it might be worth Wolves looking at Valencia who need to sell might grab some bargains.

5.) 01 Sep 2020 15:38:13
There's also been reports in the Mirror that an overgrown wild cat stalks Exmoor soooo. 🤣.

6.) 01 Sep 2020 20:38:02
I believe its actually longer, that's why he has to pull out of Spain squad if he fails second test on Tuesday. Or so the media is saying.

I don't know if we will sell him. Even if Jeff thinks it would mean more money he has to think about keeping nuno. Maybe Doc was the compromise and nuno had to pick one player. Which says something about Vinagre and his opinion of him if true. Maybe we will see more starts for him.

Right now though people are looking at the goals he scored and assisted in 2 seasons and also thinking if spurs had scored less goals wed be in Europe again. But it could all turn out to be for very good reasons. In 4 months time we could be sitting 5 contending for 4th with a handful of new players that were all got for a steal. Maybe the reason Doc was sold for a low price was to speed it up cause the funds are needed for the acquisition of a new player.

In an ideal world we will get a £30m plus player with European experience for half the price and its just wages so Doc was sold to literally cover just the wages of the new player.

At this moment we are all in the dark. But that is nothing new. At least we aren't spending like Leeds. They surely arr going to feel the wrath of FFP.

According to Futbol Leonardo Campana has been signed.

goggs1959

1.) 16 Jan 2020 20:01:33
He doesn't seem like an obvious first choice. more of a backup you throw in the reserves. In fairness I know nothing about the lad.

Not overly excited with this one if true.

21 Aug 2017 14:31:04
The Pundits say Wolves need a tall, skillful, quick striker. Hmmmm What about Jon Dadi Bodvarsson?

goggs1959

1.) 21 Aug 2017 14:43:30
I don't think the adjectives fitted at the right level of quality, can do better and anyway it's too late so move on.

2.) 21 Aug 2017 17:18:47
Jon Dadi? The stats say we need a goal-scoring striker, meaning about a goal every other match. Big Dadi never fitted the bill.
Move on, nothing to see there.

3.) 21 Aug 2017 17:28:49
The same Bodvarsson who scored 1 goal as a striker?

No time for sentiment with the new regime, bigger and better things than Bodvarsson.

4.) 21 Aug 2017 17:45:15
Yeah let's get Dadi! He could hold the ball up, head nor score great striker he is! He hasn't scored this season yet let's move on personal fantasies about players aside. Sounds like Ulf and Adobe/ the wolves brand. 🙈🙈🙈.

5.) 21 Aug 2017 17:47:21
Nuno wants someone who has the fancy footwork and audacity to grab a goal. PSG unfortunately outbid us on Neymar but we might get someone aspiring to be like him.

Yes, people wanting Crouch, Woods or even the return of Fletcher might realise we could have kept Bod.

6.) 21 Aug 2017 18:53:10
I need to switch predictive spell off. That was *couldnt and *Afobe.

7.) 21 Aug 2017 18:55:45
Nathael Julan is tall skillful and quick, people on Twitter say he is going to be announced tomorrow there sources are "reliable people" and not sites.

8.) 21 Aug 2017 20:10:30
I've heard he's a bit like Adebayor. He can't be amazing as he'd be at Arsenal, Ac Milan or Barcelona (where all the best frenchies go) .

Here's hoping. But I would have thought he'd be mainly be an impact sub?

9.) 22 Aug 2017 00:18:07
Bodvarsesson was rubbish. A big mistake. We must go for Oliveira and Julan.

10.) 22 Aug 2017 13:11:43
I don't know anything about Julan other than he's playing at an average French team and other clubs aren't rushing to sign him.

Hard to believe he's the key to winning the league but then again I'm not a talent scout.

But of a quandary. I was looking at the various Wolves t shirts with wolves players names on. I wonder which one I can buy and know the player on the shirt will still be a Wolves player.

I'm no 'ban all heading' person, but if David Luiz had gone running in at that speed and gone in feel first he would have been sent off. Why is it a player can be reckless when wanting to barge through everyone at speed and uncontrolled with his head, but not his feet? controlled jumping to head the ball, fine. Diving in head first with no thought of the damage he could do, not.

Anyone worried about the relationship between China and the UK? Hong Kong, Huawei, pressure from the States to cut ties with China. China has severed links with other countries, such as Australia in the same situation.

goggs1959

1.) 20 Jul 2020 10:21:17
More worried about Spurs, Burnley and Sheffield United overtaking us.

2.) 20 Jul 2020 11:38:12
Worried about all of it. I think Fosun will pull the plug.

3.) 20 Jul 2020 11:53:30
The last few days have been terrible as far as Wolves concerned. Can't see the game out at Burnley all other results going against us and now to top it all Watford sacking manager. That's gift wrapped survival for Villa.

4.) 20 Jul 2020 12:37:27
No worries from me.
Too much thinking of the worst when we all have had a miracle.
No problem each to their own but I prefer now not to read or post especially when anything can happen in 2 games and can envisage if the worst outcome happens the amount of negativity will be multiplied.

5.) 20 Jul 2020 12:58:09
Villa have the Gunners tomorrow SQ, the Gunners are still in reach of a potential Europa league spot so Villa won't have it easy one thinks.
Then they have West Ham next who are basically safe but they will still want to prove a point.

6.) 20 Jul 2020 13:45:50
Can't see China being an issue. The US have more to lose than us, we export very little to China, but we buy lots from them, so China will lose more in a trade war. US so far not really affected despite all the rhetoric. Remember also that Fosun are an investment company and have business all over the world, being involved in the premiership gives them huge profile.

7.) 21 Jul 2020 06:00:19
See I don't especially worry about the China situation being an issue, mostly cause there's no reason to think it would be these sort of things go back and forth all the time. I love what Fosun have done for the club but I do find their message a little confused at times.

We are here for the long haul but looking at another temporary stand?! I know the stadium isn't everything but investment in that sort of stuff is relatively easy (even with ffp) so I have to be honest and say I don't understand why if they are in it for the long haul they don't kick on with it?

Cooperate packages are the huge earners for the big boys and if we want to be one then sooner or later they need to bring the bull dozers in! I would LOVE to see the Mol with all corners filled in, imagine the noise! I know Rome wasn't built in a day but it would be nice to see some bricks being laid on the road to it! COYW 👍.

goggs1959

19 Jan 2020 21:55:58
Can't see Origi is actually a possibility if he was played against Man u.

goggs1959

1.) 19 Jan 2020 22:34:34
If you remember it was reported that we had agreed a fee last summer but that he had chosen to take his chances at Pool. If that was the case then I'm not sure why he would leave now considering his stock has gone up with some crucial goals since. Besides someone said it perfectly last week, no way he'd walk from the chance of a Prem medal!

2.) 20 Jan 2020 13:01:39
I believe we did have a fee for Origi agreed last summer. We also had a strong bid in for Tammy Abraham in January 2019 window, which would have gone through but for the grey area in his duel registration with Villa and Chelsea. Either one of these signings would have been great for us, so you have to give credit to Nuno and Fosun.

If we do sell Traore he improves a lot if he moves on., IMO it wouldn't just be down to the player's motivation. I agree with the Kilman comment. He has hardly put a foot wrong when he's played so why not recall him? It seems bizarre that they recalled Gibbs White to fill in the mid field and not Kilman for the defence. There seems to be a depressing atmosphere in the team at the moment. May be because of the league position, may be not. Much as I love Nuno, I wonder if he's up to the job?

I am dreading the transfer window. Comments of "In Nuno we trust" are not going to console me if several of our best players are sold and are replaced by promising youngsters.

We were told that players sold will be replaced by a better players. It is debatable whether that has been the case or not.

Can't have Hulk anyway. In the Sun.

WOLVES will not be able to sign Hulk in January because of new Brexit rules, according to reports.

Debbie McGee.

Once we ;leave the EU completely buying players from outside the UK is going to a lot more difficult. Getting ones from South America are highly unlikely to be able to be completed a a few weeks.

I'm sure this question must have already been asked, but anyway. Why is it that in a season where we played for 12 months solid we had hardly any injuries and yet this season they're falling like flies?

I agree that we should cash in on Traore. If does ever become able to hit a barn door, he will move on of his own accord for a bigger pay packet.
