What's everyone's realistic goals for next season?

Improve in front of goal. Scoring has to be improved.

Raging bull, if everything is true that we are reading it could be another season of struggle, I hope I’m wrong as fosun and the club keep everything quiet, so a lot depends on what happens between now and the season starts, hard to predict but hope we would be challenging for top half at least.

Incoming: 1 x CB, 2 x MF to replace Neves and Moutinho, 2 x ST to replace Costa and Jimenez.

Outgoing: Moutinho and Costa (confirmed), Sanderson, Sarkic, Guedes, RAN, Jonny, Podence, Neves, Jimenez, Coady.

No idea who will come in but realistically, our aim should be top 10 with a decent cup run.

Find a player who knows where the goal is Raging

Hopefully stay clear of the relegation zone. Be interesting to see what Kalajdic is like as a forward; heaven knows it's possibly our worst position. Also, if Silva gets a chance what he can do. Didn't rate him but perhaps he has matured now and better all-round. ?

Maybe
1xGK
1xRB
1xLB
2xCB
2xMF
1xCF
Plus have Fabio back,I think he's definitely beefed up,and matured
That's all ?

To not get relegated lol

Well we are losing several quality players so much will depend on the quality of the replacements and that's before we can consider making additions to other positions.
JL may have ideas about different formations etc. but we all know that a striker should be a priority and it will all come down to cost as it seems we are walking a tightrope with financial fair play.
I would be happy for mid table finish and then move on from there. It will be a difficult season I think.

Joking aside I have to agree with villajonny.
Our manager’s status is not set in stone and we are likely to lose Neves and maybe Nunes from midfield and we all recognise goal-scoring has been a problem, not to mention our recent defending fragility away from home.
Therefore I have no other aspirations until I see what players are brought in to cover the players leaving to hopefully improve the squad and obviously JL needs to commit pretty quickly. Get the dealings sorted and plan, plan and plan for the new season.

To be honest it's too early to say other than better than last season.

Score more goals and play a better style of football, I’m hoping we make a few additions which will improve the team but I’m not holding my breath for a summer of mass changes, think we will lose more than we sign but hoping the ones we sign actually want to play for us, give a damn and improve the team,

12.) 04 Jun 2023
04 Jun 2023 13:23:12
Certainly need yo improve our goals for but also the quality of chances that we create.

13.) 04 Jun 2023
04 Jun 2023 14:12:27
Actually, if the players leaving are ones announced recently with Traore's future still undecided, we may not see too many signings.

If Neves/Mouts are going then Nunes won't, they'll build the midfield around him, Other than that I think it will be a GK (not sure why), CH (unless they bring Coady back in) and definitely a CF. I'll miss Costa but we need goals not influencers and sadly Jimenez has come to the end of the line. As for Sasa and Silva only time will tell, like others I hope they can contribute.

I would like to think normal service will be resumed next season as I think the teams dynamic and shape will change with a more attacking midfield. I do think Neves was controlling things too deep of late, not his fault, it's just where he was played as the ball gravitates to players of his quality. Will we miss him, yes, but hopefully not as much as we might think, in terms of the teams performance, not his.

So, top ten definitely, and if JL can create the team he wants, maybe a little better.

Looking forward to seeing sasa and especially chiquinho.
At present my sure fact aspirations.
I will be very surprised/disappointed if fosun don't do what's needed for us to have a competitive season and not in the relegation mix also will be very disappointed if our style of play doesn't change in regards of being more on the offensive.
Yes lopetegui kept us up but needs to improve the teams play for me.
That's what I want to see next season.

Think we need to explore the loan market in more detail if rumouts are true.cant see kalajdic ever playing for us again and silva might have beefed up but is still way off prem quality.i can't see why ran never gets a look in with JL.and why we resigned semedo!.cash in on who we can. neto included and buy/loan a quality fwd.asa necessity.amongst others

16.) 04 Jun 2023
04 Jun 2023 15:55:42
We didn’t half set the bar with our first couple of seasons!
Everyone knows we have to improve, and JL didn’t come to Wolves to be an also ran, just surviving is a success for many, but JL will want more. Depending on player recruitment so do I.
We need goal scorers. Obviously.

04 Jun 2023 16:26:11
I agree with you BuxWolf, I can see Sasha being perpetually injured. Speaking of RBs, Bolla should get a chance to impress in pre-season. Does NS even have any completion for the position?

Managerial position needs sorting like now
Communicate with your paying public
It’s been a week and surely it’s a yes or no
If we can’t give him what he wants let him go and move on.
Really starting to get fed up of the indecision, two weeks of radio silence is not fair when the season ticket money for many people has been taken.

19.) 04 Jun 2023
04 Jun 2023 18:26:12
That's why Semedo was resigned Bux we can get a higher price for him now.

20.) 05 Jun 2023
04 Jun 2023 22:14:57
Correct Rated but if he goes we will need two right backs/wingbacks and there are other more pressing needs to improve the squad as a whole.

21.) 05 Jun 2023
04 Jun 2023 22:30:13
Sasa being perpetually injured? He had a broken bone in his foot and someone fell I to his leg to damage his knee the first time.
There is no reason to belive he is injury prone.

22.) 05 Jun 2023
04 Jun 2023 23:35:18
You realize he scored two goals in less than 4 full Premier League games, don't you? That's a 19 goal a full season pace. How many did Raul score in the Premier League in a single season.
Oh, and Nuno failed at Spurs and is coaching in Saudi Arabia so maybe we can forget about bringing him back because he seems to have found his level.

You can add Empoli, Valencia and Fiorentina to his Wolves failure,Handsome. I suppose they were all wrong and somehow overlooked Dixie Dean's next coming? If he was any better than a lower order Serie B player don't you think that a team of some standing would have come in for him?
