Hi Villa, plenty of Wolves views on the Rumours page.
The first point to make, was he was going anyway, only a year left on his contract.
He certainly goes with huge thanks from all Wolves fans, but things move on.
He leaves us with great memories.
He has done us a huge favour, in terms of the reported fee (although Porto receive a small amount of it).
As it stands, he will not be playing against us next season.
Personally, he will be earning 10 times his Wolves wages, so I guess for him, family first.
In summary, a win-win!

I think villajonny the Saudi league is rapidly becoming the new, now defunct, Chinese Super League. Massive wages are hard to ignore for a family man like Neves. What it will do for his international career, etc, not sure.
However, as Rugeley suggests many Wolves fans and I would suggest Wolves themselves, will be grateful for £47M for a player with just a year left on their contract. The fact that we don't get to face him is obviously a bonus, but a loss to the Prem, no doubt.

I was reading elsewhere Long, that his salary will be £300k per week, BUT, no tax, so double it!
Just unreal.I was also thinking the fee will probably be paid immediately, which works well for Wolves.

Given that Rugeley I don't think anyone can blame Neves for his decision.
300k per week for 3 years, that's almost £48M he would be mad to turn that down.
