If Wolves lose at Cardiff, they will be in the relegation zone. Don't be surprised if Thelwell is sacked tomorrow as way to avoid Lambert resigning. Fosun may replace Shi too.

ShrewsburyBear

1.) 13 Dec 2016 15:45:56
We won't lose to Cardiff!
I seriously think we need to think carefully about who we sell.
Flatt
Williamson
EEL
Batth
Stearman
Mason
Glad don
All loans. (except Costa who we should sign)
Coady
Saville
Henry.
But in class like Rhodes. We will move up the table simple.
Yes I've missed of Wallace as I believe he should be sent back to Millwall on loan. Where he can grow more. Iorfa needs to be kept and Hause loaned elsewhere. Also promoting Ennis will be key!

2.) 13 Dec 2016 16:55:58
Someone should really sack ShrewsburyBear, off this site. As if any of that would happen, . Think I might go and slit my wrists now.

3.) 13 Dec 2016 17:13:03
18 players up for the PL chop;
Stearman, EEL, Hause, BJ, Silvio, Deslandes, Saville, Evans, Henry, Wallace, Tex, John, Mason, Gladon, (Iorfa, Batth, Price, Coady) .

This would roughly put us back to where we were pre Fosun. Then the interesting part - incoming players such as Hanley.

4.) 13 Dec 2016 17:13:32
Hanley, Dunk, Gallagher etc.

5.) 13 Dec 2016 17:39:23
Must be long term plan of yours Wolves011.Believe Ennis is out for 4 mths. To be kind to him Wallace is crap. Williamson? Close to fitness they say, would walk into the team and Lambert likes him. Would keep Coady myself. Maybe have a look at EEl. The rest get shut, when the time is right.

6.) 13 Dec 2016 18:43:03
oh look, shrewsbury troll'i mean boar, is back'whats up son nothing happening up the meadow and you ain't got nothing better to do.

7.) 13 Dec 2016 22:00:22
Thelwell to be sacked and Shi replaced as chairman. I would laugh if that actually happened lol.

8.) 13 Dec 2016 23:07:57
Who do you lot think will buy these players!?!
No one. It's not football manager, you can't lose 18 players in 3 transfer windows never mind 1!

5 to go max! 3 in would be nice. 1 in every central position.

9.) 14 Dec 2016 18:02:31
We will loan out 5 or more players like when Deano took over but this time we need to get loan replacements hard to see anyone buying any of our players we don't need.

Yes I know we already have 5 on loan but we will sign only one or two players oand send a couple back to their clubs because with all these injuries we have some good players coming back.

01 Dec 2016 15:41:53
Losing at QPR tonight will put Wolves in the relegation slot they are unlikely to escape. Expect Fosun to put club up for sale in May, when relegated to League One. Then it needs a modern day Jack Hayward II to revive the club.

ShrewsburyBear

1.) 01 Dec 2016 16:02:30
Stop being morbid Shrewsbury Bear. We won't go down but, we won't be anywhere near the POs! January is a MASSIVE TW for and Lambert has got to bring in the right players! He's also got to make sure he gets rid of the follow - Stearman, Saville, Hause, Iorfa, Coady, Gladon, Wallace and Mason! These players aren't good enough!

2.) 01 Dec 2016 17:04:27
Hope this is not the case but the worst prediction.,
Wolves relegated
Lambert resigns
Fosun put Wolves up for sale
Hope this is the case.
Wolves escape relegation
Thelwell sacked
Fosun invest at board level is with proper football knowledge
Until then give the team all our support both on and off the pitch but we do need a LEADER on the pitch ASAP.

3.) 01 Dec 2016 17:06:13
What a stupid comment.

4.) 01 Dec 2016 17:48:15
Your opinion is like a rectum everyone has one and I don't much care for yours!

5.) 01 Dec 2016 17:50:46
I take it you are referring to ALL 3 comments above yours Wavid.

6.) 01 Dec 2016 18:04:36
Seeing people asking for the club to get rid of Hause no Iorfa makes me laugh, it's the same people who were saying 12 months ago we've got to hold on to these kind of players they're future England players. Christ why are our fans so fickle? It's so frustrating reading and listening to our own fans constantly moaning. Yes we are going through a rough time, yes some of the players aren't performing. We are in a transition period. Give it some time and instead of slating every bad thing that happens how about give a bit of support? Never known fans so fickle and expectant. Yes we have a huge history but that's all it is at the moment and it doesn't give us a right to be higher in the football pyramid BUT with Fosun in charge there's hope that we can return to former glorys, so I say again instead of skating at every opportunity let's get behind them give them our full support, rough with the smooth, because when it's going well our fans are bloody brilliant.

7.) 01 Dec 2016 18:13:14
Good post Stu.

8.) 01 Dec 2016 18:34:32
I was referring to ShrewsburyBear. lol.

9.) 01 Dec 2016 18:38:51
Not even half way through the season and someone makes a comment like that. And to make it worse, people are actually replying and agreeing with him, lol.

10.) 01 Dec 2016 18:54:42
Shrewsbury troll is just that'a troll, pay his ramblings no attention, boars like him get fed up of themselves eventually and crawl back under the Rock from where they came.

11.) 01 Dec 2016 19:14:22
The most ridiculous comment I've ever heard and probably not from Shrewsbury but West Brom. FOSUN are a large conglomerate and few setbacks would. It put them off. They make more in a day than what Wolves cost if they weren't serious they would have left Zenga in charge until after Christmas.

12.) 01 Dec 2016 19:17:45
@Rusko can I asky why Mason on your list?
He before he got injured was one of our better players this season, he is completly different than he was last.

13.) 01 Dec 2016 20:48:46
I guarantee Fosun wouldn't walk - if anything they would throw even more money at it. It would hardly be great for their reputation, would it? Can't believe someone actually sat their and wrote all that bollocks, lol.

14.) 01 Dec 2016 21:11:09
The main thing is just getting to W10, D10, L10, then going from there. There is no way on this earth that the new team will get relegated, as long as PL plays them.

15.) 02 Dec 2016 10:42:02
WE ARE BRILLIANT AGAIN.

16.) 02 Dec 2016 16:48:19
Stu mate you have the award for the best comment of the year. I seriously believe that keeping our youth is the only way to progress in this division. Iorfa was amazing last night and Ennis should be given a game to show what an amazing player he is.

17.) 02 Dec 2016 18:40:13
ShrewsburyBear's opinion is about as reliable and honest as a West Brom manager's evidence is in the High Court.

18.) 02 Dec 2016 18:45:51
StuCorbett,
You're spot on about fickle fans. It's not just Wolves fans either. I've just read a fan blog about QPR. Depressing stuff although I'm glad to say we stuffed them last night.

Fosun made a bad start admittedly but they are learning fast and this bad start will be a constant reminder in the future to take proper advice. I expect steady progress up the table now.

09 Aug 2016 08:03:22
Anderson Talisker a done deal today and 3 more to follow, but next signings might be 11th hour negotiations on last day of transfer window - agents make it that way.

ShrewsburyBear

1.) 09 Aug 2016 08:16:35
The Sako deal might be late because of the potential Yannick Bolaise transfer to Everton, or not.

2.) 09 Aug 2016 08:41:17
Sakos not coming back.

3.) 09 Aug 2016 08:54:09
Sorry I don't want Sako back. Maybe I'm cutting my nose off to spite my face but that's how it is. He was too quick to go after signing a 3 year deal. Just after money - not for me.

4.) 09 Aug 2016 09:12:24
He went after his contract ran out didn't he?

Anyway I'm not excited by Sako coming back if it were true but I wouldn't moan if he did, he did so well for us and he got better at tracking back too, wouldn't be a bad thing

Dicko would be the most excited if his mate came back too.

5.) 09 Aug 2016 09:21:02
TBH loyalty is a rare thing in football these days, and most footballers are only after one thing, at that is a good wage. If you was offered a load more money, for doing the same job, would you do it?
Also Sako could of gone when we went down to league 1, but he stuck with us, so fair play to him.

6.) 09 Aug 2016 09:21:18
I thought Sako went to Palace on a free transfer? He signed for us on a 3 year contract initially. I think he would be awesome for us in this league I don't get fans moaning about a quality player coming back. the club failed to keep him imo and he did stick around to help us get out of league one.

7.) 09 Aug 2016 09:41:38
Wasn't Sako promised Premiership football when he arrived? Instead we got relegated to a division miles from his ability, but he stayed with us, and then stayed for one last Prem push but it wasn't to be. No way can you say he wasn't loyal! I'd welcome him back with open arms - unfortunately I don't think this will be happening.

8.) 09 Aug 2016 09:42:43
Why do people insist on saying they don't want players back, if you were offered more money and to better yourself then you would turn it down, pull the other one, that goes for everyday life not just football.

9.) 09 Aug 2016 09:50:10
I don't blame Sako for leaving and I don't think he showed any disloyalty. He was out of contact and had the chance to earn good money and play Premiership football.
TBH I'm a little indifferent about whether he comes back or not. And I don't think it'll happen anyway.

10.) 09 Aug 2016 10:04:13
Reference Talisca

just got this from Abola

Wolverhampton account close Talisca this week
09:45 - 09/ 08/ 2016
The A + A-
Wolverhampton yesterday asked the Football Association (FA) the work permit for Talisca, necessary documentation to complete the transfer of Brazilian striker of 22 years for England.

According can read this Tuesday in BALL, the Club Championship (equivalent to League 2) expected unblock the situation in the next two days and close the contract by the end of this week.

The transfer Talisca for the Wolves can render the eagles to EUR 25 million, but it is likely that business templates include a base amount and some clauses for goals - number of games, goals or individual awards.

11.) 09 Aug 2016 10:17:12
Have we forgotten how he was crying after his last game because he didn't want to leave? He loved Wolves. you can't blame Sako for having ambition.

12.) 09 Aug 2016 10:31:49
It has been a weird one this saga of Talisca signing.
The S*n claim the Brazilian is flying in to England today to seal a move to us. who knows, but he does look Class (assuming he is not injured. ho ho! )

13.) 09 Aug 2016 10:41:19
And don't forget he had sparkly Wolves boots for his 100th game with us.

It might be quite a clever thing for him to come back, he might act like a bridge between who we were / our current players, and who we are becoming / the new players, help it all gel.

14.) 09 Aug 2016 10:42:36
Believe it when I see it regarding Talsca i'm getting fed up of it tbh.

15.) 09 Aug 2016 10:45:16
Seems some are confused on here, sako wanted prem football and stated he wanted it with wolves and stayed until the end of his contract. Regardless of having relegation to league 1. Maybe some posters could learn from that kind of loyalty, whether you rate him or not!

16.) 09 Aug 2016 10:51:29
Can't understand why you keep calling Sako disloyal - he stayed after the first relegation, stayed after the promotion and stayed in the final year! At any of those stages Sako could have left and found another club, but didn't. He, and everybody else, knew that he should have been playing at a higher level and that his wages were a fraction of his true worth yet never moaned once. How can all of this equal disloyal?

Even at the end, the club didn't even bother offering Sako a new contract for fear of upsetting KMac and co. Most of us would have given him a bumper pay deal and made him feel wanted, but not Wolves (who just treated him like a second class citizen) . Hardly surprising he left, is it?

It's a different story now as I think the set up with Zenger is far more suited to him and certainly won't be treated like a child, as was the case with Jackett. l, like 90% of real Wolves fans, hope these rumours do come to life and we see the second chapter in his Wolves career.

Long live the Sako.

17.) 09 Aug 2016 10:56:37
His name is Anderson Talisca, not Talisk or Talsca or Tesco.

18.) 09 Aug 2016 10:59:37
Wolves also after Tottenham's Nabil Bentaleb.

19.) 09 Aug 2016 11:07:13
Anderson Talisca article in the Sun today. Wolves set to sign Talisca

goo.gl/6AEBo4

20.) 09 Aug 2016 11:09:32
Well said wavidsmith. Sako took Wolves to his heart, that's what Walter wants and is what we need to be a wolfpack.

We saw what the 3 magics were like playing as a mini team of super bonded friends, if we can get whole team like that we will be unstoppable, we know Sako fits into that kind of thing, he would help bridge the old and new, so for me is a no brainer. Even if only for squad depth and as an impact sub to shake things up, he'd offer opposition a shock. And he's physically strong and used to the roughness of the Champ in maybe a way new continentals won't be. I think we'd benefit from the extra dimension he'd give us.

21.) 09 Aug 2016 11:40:54
Now The Mirror at it.
"The Mirror understands that Wolverhampton Wanderers are closing in on the signing of Benfica star Anderson Talisca, with the Brazilian forward set to have his medical with the Championship side today (Tuesday) . "
How many false dawns?!

22.) 09 Aug 2016 11:53:58
Sako, Dicko and Afobe hunted like a pack of wolves for us. In the time they played together (second half of our first championship season) our points total was good enough for AUTOMATIC PROMOTION! People forget that. Sako and Dicko can still do the business for us and we will have replacement striking options for Afobe.

23.) 09 Aug 2016 12:12:09
It's alright us talking about Bony, Talisca, Sako and co but it's a centre half we need most. Surely they know this? How long can they leave it before it's too late? Us Wolves fans really DON'T want to rely on Batth, Hause and EEL this season.

24.) 09 Aug 2016 12:49:34
Are you guys suggesting we pay Palace a fee for Sako when we got nothing for him 12 months ago? He was a good player and we did enjoy moments of brilliance from him. But he was one of eleven players in a team that was relegated to Division 1. If you take the misplaced passes, failure to track back to protect the full-back and general lethargy on some of his off-days then I would say let's aspire to better than Sako. Let's move forwards not back!

25.) 09 Aug 2016 13:21:50
6 million for Sako is cheap for what you get in return.

26.) 09 Aug 2016 13:39:35
Never Ending Story - let me guess, you'd rather someone who can 'put a shift in'? Ridiculous to suggest Sako would be a backwards step! He is superb, and in a better team, with better, more technical players he would be immense for us.

27.) 09 Aug 2016 14:00:40
is that the big ambition of wolves now. SAKO. bloody sad if u ask me. forget him wasnt that good anyway.

28.) 09 Aug 2016 14:36:58
Yes, demon, he's rubbish, we should just get Messi, because of course we've just been bought by Santa Claus and are the most attractive club in the World for players to want to come to.

Sako is immense at this level, we know he has passion in playing for us, it seems he wants to be here, he would fit in and get more out of the rest of our team, help enthuse them in the new project (as previously being one of them but also as one of the new incomings) once fit he would hit the ground running, I think you need to get a bit more realistic and reasonable.

29.) 09 Aug 2016 16:19:17
Yes Lincs-Wolf, in the modern game the most gifted of players put in a shift. Also I remember Sako being in talks with the baggies after he left us. That repulsed me. Still I understand he has to earn a buck, but as far as I am concerned there are plenty of players out there at his level which we could and will be looking at as part of the Wolves Revolution! COYW.

30.) 09 Aug 2016 16:25:43
Could be worse Never Ending Story, Don't forget Man United let Pogba go for 1.5m and paid a different fee to get him back ;-)

Danny Batth is talented but surrounded by weak and inexperienced players, so Wolves should either play Stearman with him (yes, short-term) and/ or buy a big name central defender to help him - e. g. Vincent Kompany, who is leaving Man. City.

ShrewsburyBear

1.) 11 Nov 2016 17:53:24
Vincent Kompany? What are you smoking bear? He will have top teams after him from across Europe! Forget it and get real.

2.) 11 Nov 2016 18:39:25
I'll have a pint of what your on. vincent company would never come to us and also he's too injury prone. having said that even when he's not playing he's better than Barth . if you seriously think he's talented then that's the reason were in the situation we are. if I'm right about Lambert then we'll see in a few months time how many of these so called talented players are gracing our field on a Saturday afternoon.

3.) 11 Nov 2016 19:06:29
He is taking the p***ignore him, troll extraordinaire.

4.) 12 Nov 2016 23:58:28
He has got it wrong anyway it is I have heard Aguero ask Mendes.

30 Oct 2016 17:04:33
Danny Batth is the most gifted player at Wolves: but surrounded by weak or out-of-form devenders. Certain relegation to follow. Rebuild in League One - Fosun will sell out by then.

ShrewsburyBear

1.) 30 Oct 2016 17:24:54
That was nearly entertaining, give yourself a pat on the back for effort'find a dark room now the mental exertion must have taken its toll on you.

2.) 30 Oct 2016 17:39:51
Danny Batth talented? Hahahahaha.

3.) 30 Oct 2016 19:56:46
Thank you Danny's big brother.

4.) 30 Oct 2016 20:08:23
Keep off the beer and drugs pal.

5.) 30 Oct 2016 21:30:26
Don't understand all the criticism of Batth. Been a solid centre-back for us for the last three or four years. To me, it's coaching where in the problem lies. Hause and Iorfa have great potential, Doherty can attack at pace and Batth is the leader at the back. They just can't seem to communicate with one another and look as if they've been lumped in together for the first time -which I'll admit is worrying. Don't suppose 'Iron Mike' Williamson will be returning any time soon?!

6.) 30 oct 2016 21:35:34
rob edwards says happy with result.
that's enough to tell me, get rid now we have had enough clowns running this football club, job to big for him, team selection was all wrong as well.
gave a very average blackburn side to much respect, they were second from bottom leaking goals, and we leave dicho, cavilaro and text on bench to start, what's that all about.

7.) 30 Oct 2016 21:56:06
Danny Batth is a decent Centre half but is no leader. His best spell was alongside Sam Ricketts who was a leader. Mick McCarthey saw the same problems when he took over and brought in Gary Breen to organise the defence. Need the new manager to do the same. Bring in a commanding, experienced CB to ease the pressure on Batth. Williamson could do this but he'll never be fit. Kolo Toure would have been ideal over the summer but he's not at Celtic.

8.) 30 Oct 2016 23:23:01
Batth is a decent league 1 defender any movement from a centre forward and he's in trouble how many goals have we conceded when centre forward gets between Batth and full back. He ball watches. It's not good enough to clap your hands and shout come on lads. Need a CH with experience ASAP.

9.) 30 Oct 2016 23:33:53
Nurse! They're out of bed again!

10.) 30 Oct 2016 23:36:51
I'm sorry'the kid is about as useful as a chocolate fire guard, he's got the turning circle of a super tanker and the reactions of a corpse, academy product or not, he ain't good enough.
He needs moving on.

11.) 31 Oct 2016 09:18:50
Calm down guys, Batth is a useful player at best but needs a older head to groom and guide him. Jackett found the answer in Wiiliamson but regretably he's injured but that is the answer- a player of that ilk.

26 Oct 2016 17:20:33

01 Sep 2016 09:33:48
Now the transfer window is shut, the Wolves manager and players have to hold at least a play-off position by winter transfer window - and if there - 2 more big names coming in to seal a top 2 finish. If lower in league, manager will be sacked and replaced - and I do have the ITK source on this (ex-player) .

ShrewsburyBear

1.) 01 Sep 2016 09:54:47
Hope so, I like it when coaches and players are put under pressure to achieve promotion. Not like with JACKETT and players in the past all matey matey! Their paid good money, so come on Mighty Wolves we want promotion THIS SEASON! Good thing is I think Big Jeffs got less patience than me 😂.

2.) 01 Sep 2016 09:57:33
Is it Steve Sedgely?

3.) 01 Sep 2016 11:34:15

Wolves was a well-run club when Jez Moxey was CEO. Now it's run by corporate goons from China. All these loan deals and bad buys are precursor to a double relegation. It will be League Two by 2018. Crowd wiil be 8,000 and you will be able to buy the club for.

Talisca will be there - and in early 2017 something amazing will happen: Wolves will win the League Cup v. Tottenham - 4-2 in extra time - and Talisca will be the first player in England to score a Wembley final hat-trick since Ted Dicken for Skelmersdale in 1971. Believe it.
