Nuno Santos sorry.

1.) 24 May 2017 13:12:37
Reading a report from Clarence Seedorf who said he is open to taking his first management job in England and wouldn't rule out a "project" in the championship. maybe another name in the very big hat?!

2.) 24 May 2017 16:06:18
Big hat but poor pedigree as a manager Milan lasted 4 months and then a Chinese club which lasted a season before being moved out. Great football players do not automatically make good Managers unfortunately.

3.) 24 May 2017 16:21:06
I would be quite happy wit Santo till Christmas and then see how things are going.

4.) 24 May 2017 18:37:33
The way things are going I would be quite happy With Santa till Christmas Hednesford!

5.) 24 May 2017 18:39:18
Hednesford we can only have santo until Xmas anyway as he will then need to go and drop off all the presents!

24 May 2017 12:07:47
Nino Santos with Phil Neville as Assistant Coach?
Worked together before at Valencia and Neville has just resigned from Valencia and want to return to England.

1.) 24 May 2017 12:30:41
Neville resigned in 2016 hence why he was able to be a pundit on Match of the day this season.

2.) 24 May 2017 12:59:05
They didn't exactly set the world on fire at Valencia.

3.) 24 May 2017 13:06:06
How do you mean rosie Nuno&phill got Valencia to 4th and champions league football, nuno resigned the year after with them in 9th it was Gary Neville who didn't do well.

4.) 24 May 2017 14:28:28
That's right it was Neville who took over from santo went about 10 with out a win.

5.) 24 May 2017 15:39:11
Nuno was manager. Phil Neville joined coaching staff in July 2015. Nuno sacked in November 2015. Gary Neville appointed 2 days later with Phil as assistant.

6.) 24 May 2017 17:02:39
To be honest outside of Spain's big 2 you would say Valencia is in the next cluster of big clubs and champions league was expected at that time. I would have thought 9th would be a poor showing which is why he was sacked.
I'm not a big follower of Spanish football but didn't they have similar problems with an agent having a lot of control there and that contributed to their decline? It may even have been mendes. Does anybody else know this or is it something I dreamt?

7.) 24 May 2017 17:42:45
You're right. Mendes plays a big part in Valencia's transfers. They've been in decline since he joined forces with them. Mind you he's done OK whilst linked with Benfica.

11 May 2017 17:45:13
Jose Couceiro surely not!?! . he's had more clubs than Jack Nicklaus, has a worst club career history than Walter Zenga and zero English football experience.
If this happens my 58 years as a WWFC supporter home and away and season ticket holder ends here.
Enough is enough we must end the association with Mendes now before it's too late.
Wake up and smell the roses Fosun this great club belongs to its fans give them something to believe in.

1.) 11 May 2017 19:41:37
Look what's just happend to Blackburn. venckys wanted there way . hope i'm wrong. can't see any sense. mendes rules Fosun, well at least mendes will pocket.

2.) 11 May 2017 20:11:31
I don't mind lambert going let's get somebody in that bows the ropes and get descent signings in obviously there's bad communications Mendez is out to line his pocket his job is to advice not take over the club.

3.) 11 May 2017 20:52:56
Blackburn a good example of how not to run a club as a business they had one of the country's best managers when Venkys took over and sacked him.

4.) 12 May 2017 09:03:45
well one things for sure the league don't lie and we finished 15th, not good enough whoever is running it, so nothing will surprise me if there are changes, still cannot make my mind up with Lambert in charge, because let's face it the home form was terrible also team selections, especially at home.
With the money Fosun have we need quality players, also in my mind deap down a quality manager/ coach Thelwell needs moveing on don't now what he actualy does to improve Woves F. C. and through him there is a lot of dead wood that want moveing on.

12 Jan 2017 16:38:35
Sam Winnall having medical at Sheffield Wednesday.

1.) 12 Jan 2017 19:26:48
So what! We let him go because he wasn't good enough. Never look back.

2.) 12 Jan 2017 19:52:02
No doubt he will carry on scoring. to slow once again unless he not good enough. but with our budget would of been a good signing as he does what he's paid to do.

3.) 12 Jan 2017 19:59:51
Huh he wasn't good enough or wolves staff made a mistake? he's scoring goals for fun. you can't be to proud mate when your struggling at the bottom half of the league.

4.) 12 Jan 2017 21:38:47
Wednesfield, I may be wrong here but did anyone say at the time we released him that we were making a mistake or did we all think that there was no way that the 22 year old who had been loaned out to 4 lower league sides and failed to prove himself would get into the team ahead of Steven Fletcher, Kevin Doyle and Sylvan Ebanks Blake.

5.) 12 Jan 2017 22:44:38
Jas M I read your comment's a lot on here and to be honest you are the one who says don't bring up the past. You mention Winnall wasn't good enough, he obviously is now. Can you remember the last time one of our strikers scored? Winnall has a hat full and will continue to score. You also mentioned the OLD strikers we had, you mean Steve "the traitor" Fletcher, Kevin "5 goals in 5 seasons" Doyle and fatty ebanks. Why not go all the way back to Steve "20 goals a season" bull and Andy "perfect strike partner" mutch. We NEED a striker and a striker that can score, Winnall would have been great for us regardless whether he had played for us as a youth or not! Yet another bargain slipped through our fingers.

6.) 12 Jan 2017 23:42:09
If 'Another one slips through the net' is the argument then why don't we save our money and just persist with Enokobahare, Bodvarsson, Dicko and Joe Mason who are all younger than Winnall. Bodvarsson is class, Mason has scored at this level, Dicko will find his form again and Bright is the future.

7.) 13 Jan 2017 07:38:42
Bright playing centre midfield? Bod may be quality but doesn't score, Dicko is a shadow of himself and doesn't score, Mason is busy but doesn't score. You can't go through a season with 5 goal a season strikers and rely on Edwards and Costa to get the goals. We either need to play 4-4-2 with bright or Mason playing off Bod or get a class striker that can play up front on his own and still score

8.) 13 Jan 2017 07:45:39
Pompey, the point is that Winnall didn't score when he was here before so we let him go. Should we do the same to the players I mention then complain in 5 years time how we made a mistake.

9.) 13 Jan 2017 08:15:15
I get that jas but you can't keep looking at what players did before. He has obviously improved and scores goals. I love bright and he has to play up front or he is wasted. Ennis will be great too. What I'm saying is we need to be competitive and we can't do that if our strikers don't score.

10.) 13 Jan 2017 10:11:34
You guys are right Winnall didn't score for the first team mainly because he didn't play for the first team. I seem to remember though for the under 23s or whatever it was he was constantly scoring.
He left because he was not offered a decent contract.

11.) 13 Jan 2017 10:21:13
Price is off to Bastia on loan

12.) 13 Jan 2017 10:32:46
Pompey for manager he obviously knows it all

13.) 13 Jan 2017 11:06:10
Sam grew up in my village vile attitude which is why he was moved on from Wolves another primadonna NOT what we want going forward.

14.) 13 Jan 2017 11:30:23
Wolves till I die, it's just my opinion as others have theirs. Our strikers aren't doing the business so surely we need to look at that area just like our defence leaks too many goals. We don't have to spend millions to get decent players. Let's get some of the deadwood off the payroll and improve on what we currently have

15.) 13 Jan 2017 11:40:41
Let Lambert carry on what he is doing, seams to be getting it all right at the moment, we have to face facts that it is going to take time to sort this lot out and I have to say Lambert is like a bit of fresh air at the moment with is team selections as he as surprised everybody me included.

One things for sure if there good enough they are old enough in Lamberts opinion and they will start, okay we do need some players of experience to go with the players we have and Lambert nows that he is not stupid, you have to agree Wolves fans we are slowly getting there and we don't want to get into panic buying just for the sake of it and waste more money on average players.

I have to say I am enjoying the ride again we look more organised and the sooner we climb up the league the better.
Come on you Wolves we can beat the Villa do it for Lambo.

16.) 13 Jan 2017 12:25:22
Wolves011, how have you read a story about Oniangue potentially moving on loan and then mistaken him for Jack Price?

17.) 13 Jan 2017 12:29:11
Pompeywolf, you are absolutely correct of course with your comments about strikers. we need a couple of quality tried and tested that can do that. Strike that is, actually score goals regularly. This is what makes the difference between an also ran team and one that's going places. They cost money and as each season goes by more and more. So the logical conclusion has to be search them out and get them. Now that is! Not easy I know! But we need to go get them. Costa has to be a priority because he has what it takes in this league and I have no doubt the premier league too. We can't just rely on our wingers and DE can we? 😉👍

18.) 13 Jan 2017 12:30:12
Agreed big wolf. Spot on 😉

19.) 13 Jan 2017 15:17:38
Jas M I find my articles on news now, Sky and Sports Witness. All of whom I trust especially Sports Witness which I have a contact.

20.) 13 Jan 2017 15:49:10
Leon Clarke! enough said.

21.) 13 Jan 2017 15:47:24
WolvesayWe91 you may have been right about his attitude but from all accounts he was offered a contract but turned it down because it was a pretty low one.

22.) 13 Jan 2017 17:45:28
Wolves011, I read the newsnow article and I thought it said Oniangue was moving on loan to Bastia. Guess I was wrong.

23.) 14 Jan 2017 08:42:15
"Prince to Bastia" not Price

24.) 14 Jan 2017 09:15:36
It is oniangue not price.

04 Dec 2016 10:50:51
Read in the Sunday tabloids Joleon Lescott is coming home on a free from Athens.

1.) 04 Dec 2016 11:10:35
You mean to England I hope. WAS great for us but that the PAST! 😉.

2.) 05 Dec 2016 09:35:14
NO to Jolson Lescott. We was a good player and has been cast off by all the other clubs because of the WAS. He's well past his best. We need players who are currently playing well, are quality to take us forward. Not backwards! Just my view. 😉👍.

3.) 05 Dec 2016 14:54:59
JOLEON LESCOTT is set to miss the rest of the season after suffering a knee injury
Lescott had a shocker, with one report saying he looked "glaringly off the pace of the game, always dropping back and backpedalling, unwilling to go into the tackle".

sounds like he is just what we need!

4.) 05 Dec 2016 15:16:03
Agreed' coast.

5.) 05 Dec 2016 20:27:11
Lambert hope you don't bring Lescotte back, we have enough trouble with our back four and with Williamson being out we don't want anymore trouble.
We want Fosun to keep to there promises and bring some quality in january to get we were we want to be, and that means top 6 firstly like they said we would be trying for, and we all now that the side needs some quality added to the team to achieve that.
Lambert must be trusted to bring the players in he wants or it will be a waste of time.

6.) 05 Dec 2016 20:47:13
Don't want Lescott abandoned us just like Camara, Adobe went for the money I will not welcome him back in his flash car.

7.) 05 Dec 2016 22:07:58
Lescott can train with us maybe and who knows he might have something to offer I don't care if he went for more money that's football just like Dicko, Graham, Coady etc when they came to Wolves.

8.) 06 Dec 2016 08:02:41
Its unfair to compare lescott with Afobe. Lescott always gave his all for us and didn't push for a move mid season. Also he went on to prove he was premiership class.

9.) 06 Dec 2016 10:17:20
Agree Jtwolf, but please let's stop taking silly chances with unfit players we have enough to clear out know.
Fosun have the money let's not keep wasting it, let's be positive and move on with some quality players brought in January.
If we don't get some quality players in areas were we desperately need them, then we will never challenge the top 6 teams, because it's obvious to me that everything is in place except the team, and I hate to say it but we are fighting a relegation battle at the moment with not much difference between bottom sides except Rotherham who looked doomed.

10.) 06 Dec 2016 20:06:06
All loan players to be released in Jan including Costa.
Jan spend will be huge.
Rhodes, Jerome, Dunk, Stephens and Pritchard on radar.

11.) 06 Dec 2016 20:20:50
Realist let's hope so that would be amazing.

12.) 06 Dec 2016 21:21:30
I know you won't believe it, but the realist is 100% right. All I ever see are big, big names coming in as I saw it before the takeover and I said it on here. I don't want to put my cards completely down, but I guarantee Fosun won't be messing around.

13.) 06 Dec 2016 21:45:27
Realist can you just clarify is Cameron Jerome? Who is Dunk and Stephens? Pritchard was mom in Norwich last game .

14.) 06 Dec 2016 23:16:29
Lewis Dunk, CB currently playing for Brighton. Don't know who Stephens is though.

15.) 06 Dec 2016 23:57:01
happy with all of that, but would rather Costa stays if it means we don't sign 1 or 2 of them.

16.) 07 Dec 2016 00:12:48
Altho my psychic footie predictions can be unpredictable, I get a really clear picture of absolutely massive spending which is why i've been slightly miffed at the lack of it so far, lol. Not sure where he gets the info from but The Realist is absolutely bang on the money. They will go big very soon.

17.) 07 Dec 2016 12:21:41
Bit of a contradiction isn't it wavidsmith? You don't know where the realist gets his information from, but you know he's right? How do you know he's right?

18.) 07 Dec 2016 13:36:22
JTWolf he's a psychic.

19.) 07 Dec 2016 15:27:09
Is that a fantasist or a realist? That is the question? . 😉😉😉.

20.) 07 Dec 2016 17:57:37
Are you being serious or taking the .
Either way I'm face palming.

21.) 07 Dec 2016 18:05:20
Dunk is a legend. Amazing for Brighton last season. Stephens not so sure. He's only average in my opinion. Love to see Van Wolfwinskel if were talking championship strikers.

22.) 07 Dec 2016 19:19:36
yeah I am. or was one, before I predicted anything to do with wolves lol.

23.) 07 Dec 2016 19:28:27
⛩⛩⛩ when you have my 'skill' it's a lot about trust. There is something about The Realist that I trust. I can't tell you exactly what, it just comes from the pit of my stomach. Unlike the excitable on here, he is definitely telling the truth, like the information has a validity. ⛩⛩⛩.

24.) 07 Dec 2016 20:21:14
Is this SENSE or NONSENSE? This is the question. The names are all a great shout. The teams these players belong to may not be so keen to let them go. don't you think?! Just adding a little food for thought with some pragmatism. unless someone's actually in the know, it's all very much speculation. 😉.

25.) 08 Dec 2016 07:33:03
So just who is Stephens?

26.) 08 Dec 2016 13:06:41
Dale Stephens, plays for Brighton.

27.) 08 Dec 2016 15:26:31
Guys can you see Brighton selling us 2 of their players? No neither can I.

28.) 08 Dec 2016 18:49:43
Derby said they were on the radar.
Brighton will move players out to get players in like most championship clubs.
If Dunk and Stephens can be sold for the right price and it suits Brighton they will be sold and replaced.
Lambert will have a comprehensive list of potential targets, that's the names I have been given.
He will also have the money and the vision.
Have also had an insight into life under Zenga.
Don't believe the hype.
The players were baffled by the whole " circus"

29.) 08 Dec 2016 20:31:46
OK we will see but can't see them selling first team players in January when they are in the mix for automatic promotion.
But we shall see.

30.) 08 Dec 2016 20:59:32
The Realist is a former player, or something. He knows too much and speaks sense. Take his knowledge and use it wisely.

31.) 09 Dec 2016 14:12:28
lol what an oddball thing to say.

32.) 09 Dec 2016 19:48:55
I am alittle strange.

16 Jul 2017 18:34:19
Does anyone know what is happening with Ofusu-Ayeh?
Is he part of the squad in Austria? . as surely he would have been an ideal replacement for Marshall.

1.) 16 Jul 2017 18:38:21
He was injured when we signed him. Still a couple of weeks away from full fitness.

2.) 16 Jul 2017 19:06:53
Ah thanks for the info, but wouldn't that have caused complications with his medical?

3.) 16 Jul 2017 20:54:25
My mistake. he was Nuno's first signing and got injured before pre-season commenced (probably a holiday injury or in gym) .

05 Mar 2017 14:10:55
I'm actually a fan of Dave Edwards but the last six games he has been running around like a headless chicken, time to rest him.
It's a great pity that Oniangue has gone out on loan as he would have been an ideal replacement other Ronan of course who is injured.
Saville, Price and Evans are not the answer!

1.) 05 Mar 2017 14:41:51
Ps . Saiss was the best player on the pitch by a mile and can anyone teach our keeper to command his box great shot stopper but simply hasn't got a cue when he ventures off his goal line.
Not a complete waste of a journey but worrying when fans can see much more than the coaching staff.

2.) 05 Mar 2017 15:07:28
Fans have seen more all season! He has to go complete joke in a mediocre league! Thank you Lee tomlin for missin the pen.

16 Dec 2016 13:04:01
Surely we can do a lot worse than Joey Barton who is better than anything in our current midfield.

30 Nov 2016 20:06:05
Joey Barton anybody?
Proven at this level and would provide the steel and competitiveness we desperately need in midfield.

1.) 30 Nov 2016 21:10:31
No thanks.

2.) 30 Nov 2016 21:15:55
Need that type Oxley. A cloned Mike Bailey would be perfect. Barton has baggage and could be disruptive.

3.) 01 Dec 2016 17:13:24
Maybe but baggage can be lightened if packed and managed correctly plus form is temporary class is permanent.
We desperately need a LEADER by example on the pitch Batth is not the answer he was a much better player with the burden of Captaincy.
Agree oh for another Mike Bailey or Emlyn Hughes!

06 Nov 2016 15:06:09
Ok Loneghan was to blame for first goal terrible kick in fact cannot kick at all! . get rid.
Yet another different partner for Batth, to much responsibility and thinking as captain give the armband to Edwards.
Iorfa has nothing to offer at this level totally out of his depth, replace with either Stearman or get an experienced centre back to lay alongside Batth.
Get a proven goal scorer JDB or Dicko not the answer at this level.
Finally, I can understand booing a teams poor performance but a single player (Batth) come on we are much bigger than that, achieves nothing.

1.) 06 Nov 2016 21:06:15
Why was Hause not in team. Played ok against Blackburn. Better option than Stearman and although not many will agree I think Ebanks Landell is worth bringing back. Doing a good job in back three at Sheffield Utd.

2.) 07 Nov 2016 09:54:30
Oxleymoorwolf could not of put it better myself cannot keep sticking up for players who don't perform who keep saying the results will come when clearly they are not.
If owners want to get we in premier and stay there we have a long way to go, because we are no further forward than when Jackette was here in fact we are in a worser position that I do now by the position we are in league.

Fosun should take a look at themselves before they become trigger happy IMO.
Paid 13m for Costa so they could double their money at the end of the season when we desperately needed a striker, creative midfielder and a CB.
PL left with dross to work with, namely
. all of which were instrumental in our Championship demise last time.
Bodvarsson couldn't score in a brothel and has only brought the Icelandic "clap" to Molineux!
Let's get behind PL and judge him on his own signings if he gets the chance.

Well whilst it's a pity he's gone to Rangers we surely only need players who want to play for Wolves and sweat blood for the shirt.
Clearly though our offer was not good enough and perhaps Nuno was not the "draw" we think he is which is quite worrying.
We desperately need a leader on an off the pitch together with quality visionary players.
