From Ojogo.

Rafa Soares was also absent fro training today, duly authorized by the club to deal with personal matters,

1.) 21 Aug 2017 22:19:19
If Everton were to buy big name centre forward and Calvert - Lewis became available on loan, he would be a brilliant option. Unfortunately he was that good tonight there is probably no chance Everton loaning him out. Shame!

2.) 21 Aug 2017 22:40:42
Wrong soares, rafa soares is the left back going to Fulham.

3.) 21 Aug 2017 22:42:02
Wrong soares, rafa soares is the left back going to Fulham.

4.) 21 Aug 2017 22:48:04
A left back? I assumed it was Tiquinho Soares we were linked with as every one is talking about a forward we're about to sign. Well shows what I know I guesd.

5.) 21 Aug 2017 22:54:16
He's signing for Fulham.

6.) 21 Aug 2017 23:25:19
Tiquinho Soares and Nathael Julan. One on loan, the other permanently.

Mason to be sold, Zyro and Oniangue to be loaned out.

Possibly Dicko and Edwards to go too - the former on loan.

Bring on the revolution.

7.) 22 Aug 2017 09:56:38
Wouldn't be upset at any of the above happening. None of the outgoings are likely to be first choices and Edwards and Mason don't fit into our new system. Edwards needs to be playing regularly to keep his place in Welsh squad, so has to seek a move. Didn't feel Dicko gave us any sort of lift when he came on against Cardiff. Quite the opposite and he should have squared the ball across goal rather than shooting into side netting. Looked at that a few times and it was a good chance to get a point we didn't really deserve.

8.) 22 Aug 2017 11:10:01
Departure of Edwards should be made easier for the player given the service to Wolves over the years. Unlikely to get a new club willing to pay his current salary so we should pay off remainder of this years contract to ease a departure. Can't see him being used if he stays. Need to free up some space in the squad.

9.) 22 Aug 2017 12:44:06
What's the point of paying the remainder of his contract? You're basically saying Wolves should pay him his full wage and then let him go and play for someone else. No. If someone puts in an acceptable bid then sell him if not he'll be a good squad player.

10.) 22 Aug 2017 13:08:37
Is Edwards really history? A couple of midfield injuries and he's right back in the mix again.

11.) 22 Aug 2017 15:28:40
We could have done with Edwards on Saturday. He would have handled the 'Cardiff boots boys'.

15 Jan 2017 11:01:57
Hearing we've made an improved bid of £1.25m for Marshall.

1.) 15 Jan 2017 15:13:27
Should get him now

03 Nov 2016 21:22:13
It's Marco Silva guys.

1.) 03 Nov 2016 21:32:34
If you really believe that B'ham, I suggest that you put your money where your mouth is and take the 25/ 1 still being offered by BetVictor. He is apparently struggling to get to grips with the English language but that just puts him in the same boat as Paul Lambert.

2.) 03 Nov 2016 21:33:41
Where have you heard this bham wolf?

3.) 04 Nov 2016 07:17:37
Last week you said Freedman already had the job and the announcement would be this Monday.
Now you have changed your tune.

4.) 04 Nov 2016 08:43:56
Just making it up again.

26 Oct 2016 08:58:33
Freedman has got the job.

Will be announced Monday.

Becareful what you wish for.

1.) 26 Oct 2016 09:08:16
Would be an absolute disaster and a ridiculous choice, never gelled with fans as a player poor record as a Manager just a very cheap option. Is this really the level that Fosun aspire to?

2.) 26 Oct 2016 09:23:17
Well he's 8/ 13 now with which implys he's nailed on. And the bookies don't often get it wrong!

3.) 26 Oct 2016 10:54:51
I hope for once bookies am wrong 25/ 1 Ince worth a punt if sun newspaper right.

4.) 26 Oct 2016 11:34:36
The Sun think Ince was sounded out before they sacked Zenga and is being sounded out now. Pearson, Sherwood and Freedman are the others. Talk about underwhelming! At least they got the nationality right, I suppose.

Obviously they won't pay 'big' Sam or Silva the 'big' money.

5.) 26 Oct 2016 11:41:33
I have nothing to substantiate this claim, but no way will it be Freedman. Fosun are investing heavily in this club to get to the Premiership and his managerial record has hardly set the world alight. Won't happen, they aren't that stupid. Personally I'm for Big Sam now Bruce has been snapped up, but I wouldn't be at all surprised it was another left field appointment. Maybe they should not bother with a manager at all and let the players take it in turns to pick the team.

6.) 26 Oct 2016 11:42:23
Vitor Pereira is the man.

7.) 26 Oct 2016 12:39:26
Friedman really will be Deano all over again. Really need someone with experience at achieving at this level. The usual names.

8.) 26 Oct 2016 12:43:33
Ince would potentially work as long as he keeps Edwards as his assistant and is allowed to bring in the players he wants, not Therwell and Mendes choices.

9.) 26 Oct 2016 12:46:50
The more left field the manager, the more money can be made by those at the top. Coincidence?

10.) 26 Oct 2016 13:39:09
Now we have these stars from overseas, we need someone who can manage them as well as our home grown talent. Sam must surely be the right man for the job. Friedman, Ince and Robinson, no, not really. I would rather have one of the Portuguese names than them. Can't see Hughton coming here. If we're going down that road we might start thinking Di Matteo, Poyet or even McCarthy. But I doubt we are.

11.) 26 Oct 2016 13:57:44
How do you know Freedman has 'got the job', and will be 'announced on Monday', Bhamwolf? I am the psychic one.

12.) 26 Oct 2016 14:15:42
So Westley freedmans managerial career has hardly set the world alight so he won't get the job.

Hmmmmmmm what about Zenga's career! He got the job.

13.) 26 Oct 2016 15:09:38
Oh yeah, good point Bhamwolf, I'm kind of hoping that they will learn from that one!

14.) 26 Oct 2016 15:36:24
"The more left field the manager, the more money can be made by those at the top. Coincidence? "

You really think they spend £30m to buy us, to make a little money betting on surprise appointments? Can I have some of whatever you're on?

15.) 26 Oct 2016 16:38:00
With butti going as well maybe they are having a rethink on the whole set up. The most important person at a football club is the manager. Get that right and back him to get on with his job, its not rocket science.

16.) 26 Oct 2016 21:02:27
Fosun want to interview Big Sam. They WILL pay his 'big' wages.

17.) 26 Oct 2016 21:21:20
Here comes the bs bout a revolt probly won't the old guard to train abit harder and they didn't won't to and if players drop points cus they don't like the manager should be ashamed of themselves must say some very shoddy defending.

29 Aug 2016 08:47:07
Saiss and ruddy to sign in the next couple of days.

I must say I'm a little disappointed if that's it.

1.) 29 Aug 2016 09:24:12
According 2 express and star sails will sign next couple of days long term contract he's a quality player and jack ruddy 18yrs old been training with wol about 2sign should b more signings 2 follow.

2.) 29 Aug 2016 09:37:05
I suppose it's better than signing players we'd regret like Luisao, Bendtner or Van Der Vaart, etc.

3.) 29 Aug 2016 10:16:59
RVDV joined FC Midtjylland a few weeks ago.
Wouldn't want Bendtner, since he left Arsenal he's been a League 1 ST at best, also he's been known for having a bad attitude.

4.) 29 Aug 2016 10:25:29
i know I shouldn't bring up the stench from across the way but let's hope Pulis carries on the wonderful job he is doing . Continue the exciting football to behold and please the adoring fans .

5.) 29 Aug 2016 10:26:40
Makes me smile.

6.) 29 Aug 2016 10:31:11
Well one thing I do now is that we should of won Saturday on second half performance but not on the first half, the game was lost first half with that team selection which is down to Zenga and I think he will change is team selections next time after that performance first half, he as given them all a fair chance to prove themselves but they failed badly first half simply not good enough the midfield first half was non existent never got to grips with the game, awful is the best way to describe first half.

7.) 29 Aug 2016 11:40:29
I was at the game on Saturday and as you have said 'bigwolf' the first half was awful and the midfield was almost non existent, and overrun by the Huddersfields midfield players. Saville, Edwards and Price was always going to be a recipe for disaster. In my view Saville is hopeless and needs to go, Edwards has lost his legs so has nothing to offer, and Price had a very bad game.

I was very optimistic about Venga, but I must confess I am now a little worried. He says rotation is the way but I wholly disagree with that, except for injuries and maybe cup games. Surely you need to select the best eleven available and in this way you can develop a strong team who get used to playing with each other. Fitness should not be an issue, these are young guys who should easily be able to play 50 games a season if required to do so.

We do seem to have made some good signings who undoubtedly will strengthen the team.

However, we will not be promotion contenders if we set up with a weak team for 45 minutes in the hope that we can then deploy the substitutes and win the game in the second half (which appears to be happening now) . We need the best eleven at the start with the aim of playing full out for 90 minutes. As I said earlier fitness should not be an issue for these young players. If it is then deal with it at the time, by using the substitutes.

8.) 29 Aug 2016 11:41:20
The press don't half make stuff up. It's like our scouts going over there to watch Bjarnason and being 'really impressed'. They are so impressed, they haven't even bothered bidding!

9.) 29 Aug 2016 11:49:51
Agree FRANKO, rotation is not the way, it's about puttin your best 11 out week after week, fewer changes the better, that's how a team gels and is successful imo.

10.) 29 Aug 2016 12:24:33
It is true that if Zenga plans to rotate using Jackett's old mediocre rubbish, we will finish mid table. I presume his first midfield will be Saiss, Onian, Teixeira and Costa or Wallace in a diamond? What is worrying me, though, is the inclusion of Evans, Savile, Price and Henry amongst them. What worries me even more is STILL no new centre half! Iorfa, Batth and Hause are a recipe for disaster. Do Zenga, Mendes and co know this?

11.) 29 Aug 2016 12:42:56
Give them till weds 11pm wavidsmith, Big Jeff still has chance to get a couple of quality players in yet.

12.) 29 Aug 2016 13:42:45
Agree Paul if not play best eleven and keeps rotating with that first half team at Huddersfield we will not get in top six hope Zenga realises that, still waiting for some experienced championship players instead of a bunch of unknown players on loan although they are reasonable players but at the end of the day they are not going to stay we need a settled side and a couple of class sighnings to cheer us up and then we will now that they mean business, still let's stay positive it's a long season and we have had a decent start.

13.) 29 Aug 2016 15:37:48
Ruddy signed 2 year contract with option of further 1.

14.) 29 Aug 2016 19:27:20
Personally I don't mind rotating the team as long as it's a few players rotating per game and we are changing one good player for another and not weakening the team.

I think Zenga has had to show us and Fosun that he has a good formula, he can use different tactics to change a game but most importantly he's tried and tested the current stock of players and the old guard are not good enough.

Thellwell, Edwards and Daley would have been singing Edwards, Saville and Evans's praises so the only way to prove they're not good enough is to show them to the Chinese on the pitch.

Its big Vince guys.

1.) 30 Aug 2017 22:15:54
No it isn't guys.

2.) 30 Aug 2017 23:12:46
Oh yes it is! 😊.

3.) 31 Aug 2017 00:07:25
He's behind you.

4.) 31 Aug 2017 09:33:42
Oh no he isn't.

25 Aug 2017 14:12:19
Edwards off to Reading.

Finally the clearout of muppet McCarthy's dross will be over.

1.) 25 Aug 2017 14:38:37
If it happens thanks for your efforts Dave, but were aimin higher now!

2.) 25 Aug 2017 15:17:29
strange sky are reporting it but the E&S haven't said a word. Spiers/ Judah? Even Tim Nash hasn't reported it. Even so think its the right time for the move. Better caliber of players now.

3.) 25 Aug 2017 17:20:13
If it is true, then I wish him all the best. Dave Edwards has been a great servant to the club. Too many idiots on here knocking him, should know better.

4.) 25 Aug 2017 17:41:24
I agree he has been a regular for 4 seasons and scored more goals than most even if his style of play isn't what most of us want to see he will do well at a club that attacks through midfield very much the English style but we're continental now!

5.) 25 Aug 2017 18:24:30
I'm not in the know about anything that goes on at Wolves and don't confess to be but a good honest friend of mine who knows Dangerous said that he spoke to him and Dave Edwards said "Wolves are going up". He went into other details as to why we are but the point being is that he didn't say "We are going up". That's what stood out for me. Dave wants first team football, he wants to go to the World Cup (can't blame him for that) and he is wise enough to know that younger more gifted players have been brought in in his place. Good player. Top top bloke from what I hear and I for one applaud him and wish him luck. Great servant.

21 Jul 2017 20:31:38
Looks like we're competing with derby for the signature of Bakary Sako.

Drink it in guys.

1.) 21 Jul 2017 20:44:53
Love him back, what an attacking forward line we'd have, at this rate no one will want to play us.

2.) 21 Jul 2017 21:03:36
Where have you heard This? I think he'd be more likely to go to Brighton or Huddersfield tbh.

3.) 21 Jul 2017 22:06:40
It's on the Transfer Centre
Says us, Derby and the Bluenoses
I think would prefer him to Afobe because he is cheaper, will score us goals for sure and still good relationship with all wolves fans.

4.) 22 Jul 2017 07:47:51
Come on Wolves, get him back. He knows the club, he has rapport with the fans, he has been successful in the division, he is strong and powerful enough to play up top as well as the left, and what a left foot! To me its a no brainer if he is available.

5.) 22 Jul 2017 11:07:29
I don't see this transfer happening as Sako is playing for Palace today in Hong Kong. We can hope though.

19 May 2017 13:46:40
Wolves to announce Hi Ho Silva lining as their new manager next week.

1.) 19 May 2017 14:06:56
I'd be happy with that B'hamwolf 👍.

2.) 19 May 2017 14:40:01
Me too tam.

3.) 19 May 2017 14:50:17
wud love it, Silva would take us to the next level, he's the next Pochettino.

4.) 19 May 2017 14:52:08
What's your source about that announcement Bhamwolf?

5.) 19 May 2017 16:01:41
According to most bookies, Silva is odds on favourite to take the Watford job.

6.) 19 May 2017 17:46:31
Well he finishes work Sunday 😂😂.

7.) 19 May 2017 19:00:10
Agreed Bhamwolf and PT. We can but only hope our reverred management at the top get it right this time! Because if they don't, be prepared for more of the same next season.! ⚽️👍😉.
