Reported on BBC 5 Live that Fosun will complete the takeover today.

1.) 21 Jul 2016 06:38:40
I've just heard 5live confirm that we are due to complete today and new owners will be Fosun Intl 😊.

2.) 21 Jul 2016 06:55:08
I have heard the same report on 5Live aswell. Happy days if true.

3.) 21 Jul 2016 06:58:26
In that case I would think there will be a press release tomorrow. And that Jackett will be gone later today on there return from Ireland.

4.) 21 Jul 2016 06:58:57
It's Happening 👍👍👍.

5.) 21 Jul 2016 06:59:36
I also think that this has been a done deal for more than a week. And it has all been left until the Ireland training camp was completed.

6.) 21 Jul 2016 07:01:01
Wolves bought by Chinese conglomerate Fosun International for £45m

On BBC Sports Web Page.

7.) 21 Jul 2016 07:04:27
Same report on the BBC sport app 👍🏻.

8.) 21 Jul 2016 07:05:11
Confirmed by Pat Murphy on BBC website.

9.) 21 Jul 2016 07:11:44
On the BBC Website.
"Wolves have been bought by Chinese conglomerate Fosun International for £45m, with the club expected to confirm the deal on Thursday. "
So we will all know what it means tomorrow.

10.) 21 Jul 2016 07:14:09
I wonder how long it will take to get things moving. First signing and who it will be etc? Having said that, we haven't got long! Julen in by the weekend and signings coming in the start of next week?

11.) 21 Jul 2016 07:16:13
Banbury Wolf we salute you.

12.) 21 Jul 2016 07:16:56
It's on BBC website.

13.) 21 Jul 2016 07:18:54
Well now it's all done and dusted, I've got a slight bit of doubt of what might happen to the club. I'm thinking that the new owner will turn us into a franchise club and change the badge, colors and even our name. And then you've got what happened with blues and their owners as well.

14.) 21 Jul 2016 07:33:54
Diagreer they have paid for the brand it has real value and they will not want to change that. They will want to rebuild its profile not throw it away.

15.) 21 Jul 2016 07:37:08
No, but seriously?
We all have concerns, but Morgan's zombie state is over, at least can you enjoy the moment?
What would you do if you won 45 million on the lottery mate, wish you hadn't so that you might win it a few days later on a further rollover fir 48 million?

16.) 21 Jul 2016 07:39:41
Looks like the tsingtao is coming out tonight been in fridge ready for a few weeks (although have re stocked a couple of times haha) happy days :)

17.) 21 Jul 2016 07:42:40
Imagine if it was Glenn Hughes and Robbie Keane buying the club. We'd all look pretty silly.

18.) 21 Jul 2016 07:53:59
Wolves sold. announcement later today.

19.) 21 Jul 2016 08:08:03
At loong last. Now let's please sort the poor managers situation out and our depleted squad.

20.) 21 Jul 2016 08:17:17
Going to miss all the sources, ITK and Gee Wolf's updates on car park activity.

It's been a roller coaster, let's hope we all get what we want, a successful Wolves, playing entertaining football and eventually winning trophies!

21.) 21 Jul 2016 08:17:26
Hilarious again that E&S is nowhere near this announcement! They'll probably splash the headline like a big 'scoop' in a few hours, once they get their lazy asses out of bed - world's worst journoes award!

22.) 21 Jul 2016 08:18:34
Well well I don't have to jump after all!
Mind you that Gee Wolf two timing me .

23.) 21 Jul 2016 08:26:32
Il 🍺🍺🍺🍺🍺🍺🍺 to the MWP👍👍👍.

24.) 21 Jul 2016 08:34:03
Honestly, the E&S are SO bad at reporting sport now. It was much better before Judah and Spiers (aka Laurel and Hardy) arrived on the scene. I swear to god that I could report better than those two clowns.

25.) 21 Jul 2016 08:40:45
Agree wavidsmith, there so far behind with things their a joke. With this takeover we will get more coverage in the Nationals now so the they'd might as well join JACKETT down the dole.

26.) 21 Jul 2016 08:44:20
They've just posted on Twitter as . Yeah it was nearly 3 hours ago they are useless.

27.) 21 Jul 2016 08:44:34
Great day. Thanks to all posters itk or not, specially gee and paul. Its been a right ride. Ulf can you stick with us? Come on we're on the way to signing some large tents! ALWAYS WOLVES.

28.) 21 Jul 2016 08:54:08
At last can't wait for the statement from wolves and to see new manager in and transfers coming in. Time to be positive guys and enjoy the ride. Up the wolves.

29.) 21 Jul 2016 08:54:40
Why no stock exchange announcement? If it is actually sealed there would have to be. Premature from BBC as it may not be sealed yet.

{Ed001's Note - why would there need to be a stock exchange announcement?}

30.) 21 Jul 2016 09:02:55
Most people would give their left arm to report for Wolves every day, not those two. When are the E&S going to wake up and do something about it? I'm not lying when I say that a child of eight would be more professional (and look happier) .

As for their joke 'laurel and Hardy' pieces to camera they do at the training ground, etc, I'm not going to comment on as it's just embarrassing. All that fiddling/ mumbling/ giving their own opinions. er, no thanks.

31.) 21 Jul 2016 09:04:21
Moxey off to Norwich.

32.) 21 Jul 2016 09:11:01
Why are people saying 'I am lead to believe Jackett will be relieved of his duties today'? A different person has been saying that every day for the last 2 weeks! I tell you what, hows about this for an idea? - go down the training ground - see that? IT'S JACKETT and, guess what? - HE'S STILL IN A JOB!

Stop it, please, until he actually has been.

33.) 21 Jul 2016 09:13:00
Because it's listed on the HKSE.

{Ed001's Note - and?}

34.) 21 Jul 2016 10:19:06
Kenny get ya jacket an goooooooo.

35.) 21 Jul 2016 10:38:37
Bit of press around the ground now ticket office is busy aswell.

36.) 21 Jul 2016 11:16:15
I'll be driving past the Mol soon so I'll post whether or not there's press.

37.) 21 Jul 2016 11:40:30
Anyone actually know the HKSE rules on what has to be announced or not?

I looked on Fosun's Investor Relations page and there's no announcement or press release there either. That's stranger. Anyway the Beeb got this scoop at 6.47 this morning. Don't know where they got their story from but I would guess from Wolves rather than Fosun.

38.) 21 Jul 2016 11:52:22
Just past the golden theatre of dreams and there were some paparazzi.

I see that Niall Ennis made his comeback in the u23s on Monday after his broken leg. I wonder if he can get fit quickly enough to be given a shout in the first team?

1.) 09 Mar 2017 14:32:13
Statto your bang on with regard to a bad 11 the chapman bros spring to mind and ray hankin would be centre forward lol.

30 Jul 2016 07:24:23
So Kenny has finally been relieved of his duties. Paul T, I bet you're an even happier man now!

1.) 30 Jul 2016 08:01:14

Guys, you are right that if Costa wants to go then he will. My point was not anything to do with loyalty, it is to do with an agent advising the club. Mendes is fine doing his job as a players agent, but if he is being used as a consultant by the club as was being widely reported at the start of the season and many users of this forum have called for this to continue very recently, there is a clear conflict of interest.

The point of my post is that we should not be seeking the advice of an agent when it comes to player signings because the interest of the agent will always influence the advice given.

We should not become a short term stepping stone (by that I mean less than 12 months) for players to engineer bigger moves because it does not help the team on the pitch in the long term or the dressing room morale.

AC, £7m profit ordinarily is not to be sniffed at, but if we are only going to sign players to sell on for a profit every 6-12 months, we are never going to build a stable team to fulfil what we all want.

So Mendes is allegedly touting Costa for around £20 million to Premiership club's. If so, he will be looking at another couple of million for himself. £3.3 million in his back pocket in 6 months for selling the same player twice.

Anyone who still thinks that Mendes advising Fosun is a good idea is naive because there is such a conflict of interests, it's ridiculous. There is only one winner in that scenario and it's not Wolverhampton Wanderers.

I don't disagree with your comment at all wavid. I like both Dicko and Bodvarsson and maybe it's time to actually pair them from the start and play what seems to be an old fashioned 442. At the moment our only creativity is from the wing, so let's utilise it and play two holding midfielders to protect the back four, which frankly needs all the protection it can get.

People forget that we have two wingers to come back with Graham and Zyro; Zyro of course can also give us another option up front. So we do have strength to come in those positions.

I don't really like the fact that the team is constantly changing, but given that we are going nowhere this season, if Lambert is giving everyone gametime to sift out who needs to go in the summer, I will accept that. But creativity from the middle should be key alongside the centre half situation.

I agree with Bodvarsson. His workrate is faultless and I think that both he and Dicko are faultless in their dedication but all the running they do is largely detrimental to them scoring due to the way we are set up. They barely get clear cut chances and are snatching at them because they are desparate to score. I have a lot of sympathy.

However, there does come a point where the strikers need to get goals. I would not look to move them on though as they do contribute and hopefully one will off their backside will get them going. Confidence has always been key to any successful striker.

My beef with Cav is that half the time, he does not look interested. He may have all the skill in the world but if he is not prepared to work for the team and be a showpony by trying to beat a defender three times, with no end product, then I would rather he left.

Its a fine balance between ability and a team who merely put a shift in as Merlin used to say, but I know Wolves fans at least appreciate the effort and largely would want to see that.

Everyone is entitled to their opinion and given what has happened this season, it understandable that there is negativity flying around. But, we are an hour from kick off in a game we need something out of. Come on lads, let's get some positive vibes out there, and get behind the players, whoever Lambert selects. We all know our shortcomings but the players need our support on the pitch and we all need the points, so let's be the 12th man and roar the lads on!

I have no problem with Thelwell being moved out but I have concerns about an agent being utilised as an advisor - this is a clear conflict of interest. There are plenty of football men who aren't so conflicted who could advise/ come in as a director of football who have vast knowledge of the English game who will only line their own pocket with a salary and not commission as well.

Very few foreign coaches have been effective in the Championship. However, if Middlesbrough are getting itchy feet with Karanka, as has been reported recently, I would be very happy to see him down the Molineux.

I agree with a couple Coolerboy. After much deliberation, my worst XI is:
Andy Marshall
Serge Romano, Paul Stancliffe, Manuel Thetis, Dariusz Kubicki
Robbie Slater, Silas, Jens Dowe, Jamie Clapham
John Paskin, Sami al-Jaber.

Being 38, my earliest memories come from the mid-80s and I can tell you that there are far more candidates for the worst Wolves XI than a legends XI.
