The latest rumour I've seen is that we're interested in a full back from Fleetwood Town. How about that? Linked to a £21m Brazilian midfielder from Barcelona to a FB from Fleetwood Town in the space of just a few days. It could ONLY be Wolves.

Doncaster Wolf

1.) 14 Jul 2016 16:59:29
Hahaha'yeh typical wolves' silks to potato sacks in the blink of an eye, still we have the two M's to laugh at, NOT!

2.) 14 Jul 2016 17:15:40
Really cannot see this takeover happening. Dragging it out way to much, really have my doubts about it now. Oh well ay. wolves ay we.

3.) 14 Jul 2016 17:20:23
Get a grip man, has someone been tipping chemicals in the Don again or something?

4.) 14 Jul 2016 17:30:05
The midfielder is from Benfica not Barcenlona unless you are suggesting that we are in for Rafina for another 21mil bid as that would be like Fifa (non- realistic)

5.) 14 Jul 2016 20:48:29
I'm glad you noticed the deliberate error; yes the rumoured £21m target is at Benfica, not Barca. Don't worry more-onWolf; I don't need chemicals in the river Don to hallucinate. The smell of your after shave is severe enough to cause this. Stay patient fellow Wolfies!

6.) 14 Jul 2016 20:48:30
No way will the staff be leaving at the end of the week, in fact Jackett is taking team to Ireland and remains in charge until deal is concluded, as yet no one is saying when that will be. Frustrating, yes, but let's get a grip. We've waited, in my case 40 years, and another X days I can live with.

PS I don't doubt all ITK are well intentioned but do us all a favour.

7.) 15 Jul 2016 02:12:33
Well said danceswithwolves

And for those knocking possible signing from Fleetwood, let's not forget where Leicester got Vardy from!
The FB in question is an Irish international with a host of clubs scouting him.

28 Aug 2014 19:49:17
Jamie O'Hara has left Wolves with immediate effect, following the cancellation of his contract by mutual consent. WONDERFUL!!

Doncaster Wolf

1.) 28 Aug 2014 22:42:18
Well, yes, except he walks away with who knows how much cash. Could be a million pounds for all we know.

2.) Great news

See wolves don't want to comment to much on this be interesting to see what we paid him for the rest of his contract

Hopefully this is due to a signing coming in?!

3.) With immediate effect.lets see if he moves faster than he did on the pitch.

4.) Well done 2m's for seein the bigger picture.

5.) 31 Aug 2014 20:03:08
Some of us thinking we should have paid off OHara last year. But there was still a chance we could transfer him. Hard to know where the sweet spot is, how long to keep a player before giving up.

17 May 2014 17:50:00
A couple of days back, I was talking to a Sheff Utd fan who claims to have been a long time family friend of Harry Maguire. He confirmed that Wolves are in for him and that Maguire is seriously considering the idea of joining Wolves. It's by no means decided yet but he IS interested. Good news I think if we get him as he has the potential to be a very good defender.

Doncaster Wolf

1.) Think harry would b a great signing and he himself deserves a chance in the championship with a great team in wolves

2.) Be surprised if it happens. cloughy quoting £4mil

3.) That's a fair point but what Cloughie asks and what he gets may well be two very different figures. Can he negotiate as well as Jez can?

4.) Asking £4 million for a League 1 defender in the last year of his contract Don't think so!

5.) Agree with the above, if the player wants to move . with one year left on contract they want get much because could easily wait till he runs out and go out on a free

6.) Harry Maguire is to sign a new 3 year deal with the blades this week. He's a home bird with big passion for the club and still lives with his family in sheffield.

7.) How anyone can resist Wolves is beyond me

14 Mar 2014 16:49:13
According to ssn, Wolves have made an enquiry to sign Bolton forward Rob Hall on loan, but Bolton are reluctant to let the former West Ham man leave the Reebok Stadium.

Doncaster Wolf

1.) He's a winger! Wingers are the last thing we want be looking for!

2.) How about these to improve us next season (if in championship)
Jack hunt RB
Ciaren clarke CB
Arron creswell LB
Serge gnabry RM (loan)
Thomas eisfeld CM (loan)
Federico macheda ST (free)

3.) IF we go up.

4.) I'd take Thomas Eisfield all day long and Cieron Clarke and Jack Hunt maybe serge Gnabry if sako left because we have plenty of wingers!

5.) To be honest I think all the players I suggested are good enough for maybe top 6 but defo top 8 but are Morgan a Moxley spend the money on those sort of players?

Here's a new song that could work at Norwich (to the tune of Scaffold's Thank You Very Much for the Aintree Iron) :

Thank you very much for hiring Moxey,
Thank you very much,
Thank you very, very, very much!
Thank you very much for hiring Moxey,
Thank you very, very, very much!

Doncaster Wolf

1.) 14 Jan 2017 21:14:09
I think you need to get out more Doncaster

2.) 14 Jan 2017 22:22:46
You could be right Lowwolf but my nurses won't let me out and anyway the straight jacket really slows me down.

3.) 15 Jan 2017 12:23:30
You could always stay in and decorate Doncaster.
I've got some lovely padded wall paper up in my room now.
Some nice men in white coats did mine 👍🏼👍🏼😉😉

03 Dec 2016 10:05:43
How about trying Doherty in midfield? I have a feeling he could be a real success there. Thoughts?

Doncaster Wolf

1.) 03 Dec 2016 11:23:28
Was thinking that myself Doncaster, seams to play well coming forward and looks a good creative player at the moment doing more creativity than those who have played there for years.

2.) 03 Dec 2016 11:28:13
Weren't he played in midfield before on the right wing under mad mick?
Or was that Foley?

3.) 03 Dec 2016 11:31:46
How about putting him on the subs bench out of the way. He cannot defend he attacks and never gets back just stands and watches.

4.) 03 Dec 2016 20:15:46
Jackett played Doc LM a couple of times probably when Sako wasn't available he was ok.

17 Aug 2016 11:35:02
I just wonder if Wolves are waiting to announce two or even three signings together (Luisao, Talisca and Ola John)? That would be pretty spectacular and would make big news in China. Pure speculation only of course.

Doncaster Wolf

1.) 17 Aug 2016 12:22:51
Anyone seen that talisca going to beskitas on loan seen it on Twitter.

2.) 17 Aug 2016 12:31:31
Yup, I just saw the article; no wonder he was messing us about so much. So now we must quickly move on to new targets because we need a complete new midfield.

3.) 17 Aug 2016 12:37:59
Matcat just seen that rumour just hope that we haven't been wasting our time and energy trying to buy a player that isn't interested in coming to the might wolves.

4.) 17 Aug 2016 12:53:50
Did anyone really believe Talisca was coming to Wolves?
Far to much prevarication on his part.
Let's move on and sign some proven Championship quality players.
Edwards, Evans, Saville and Price are clearly not up to the task.

5.) 17 Aug 2016 13:07:04
He's obviously used us.

6.) 17 Aug 2016 13:17:37
Cant be true .23mill to go out on loan and could get hurt lol noway.

06 Aug 2016 15:38:50
WTF is Zenga doing with that TERRIBLE midfield selection? Have we not signed any midfielders during the transfer window so far? Out of 5 new signings, only ONE starts, with 3 on the bench and one who doesn't even make the squad! Is he trying to prove for once and for all that we need to get the cheque book out and get some quality signings in? Mr Guo and the Benfica President must be really impressed with this bloody awful showing so far.

Doncaster Wolf

1.) 06 Aug 2016 15:44:35
Well said Doncaster Wolf! I couldn't agree more! (Oh, hang on - that's me! )

2.) 06 Aug 2016 16:36:46
Wow, quick on the negativity and already looking wrong. Some of our new players aren't match fit yet so one has come on 2nd half and made all the difference.

First half was still Kenny's team, you are too impatient and not giving this a chance. Kenny's former team isn't Zenga or Fosuns fault.

3.) 06 Aug 2016 17:00:23
I stand by my comments; that was a terrible midfield and we had the options to make it a whole lot better from the kick off. While I am very relieved and happy that we got the draw, none of us can answer what might have happened if we'd had a strong midfield from the opening minute, which was NOT the case.

4.) 06 Aug 2016 17:10:24
They need to learn, they clearly are doing.

People need to lose this frustration and expectation from the years of built up frustration over us getting nowhere under Moxey. This is a new start, it's going to take a while for it to find it's feet, it deserves our patience.

And we were a team today, in the 2nd half we were exciting and impressive, Zenga's passion and influence beginning to come through, it will take some time. Personally I'm impressed and proud of the team today, I'm confident it will get better as it all gets more settled and gelled.

5.) 06 Aug 2016 17:15:23
And according to the radio commentary, Fosun (and Mendes) were impressed, they were engrossed in the 2nd half and enthusiastically applauding the team and Zenga at the end.

And looking at today, Zenga uses subs really well and the team are quickly becoming one with him - passionate and battling. We are so much better off than we were, imo this is heading in exactly the right direction for what we should want to be.

6.) 06 Aug 2016 17:29:27
He must have been impressed with Saville and Evans in training but where was Silvio?

7.) 06 Aug 2016 17:32:04
Totally agree with you Ulf! UTW 👍.

8.) 06 Aug 2016 20:07:11
Was it the midfield at fault for a set piece corner or a 25 yard screamer? No didn't think so. We do need signing but the right ones to compliment this squad. Excellent point away from home.

9.) 07 Aug 2016 10:57:38
To be honest I think Zenga was probably giving them a chance. He'll want to have the dressing room on his side so didn't want to drop everyone straight away. However, I'd think teixeira has now forced his way into the next team.

05 Aug 2016 17:30:43
Is ANYTHING happening on transfers? Does anyone know anything factual about players we are interested in, fees agreed, medicals etc? Come on all you ITK geniuses.

Doncaster Wolf

1.) 05 Aug 2016 18:14:52
I think we were in a rush to get players this week in time for Rotherham and to register squad numbers. That's done now. I think there will be more signings before window closes, but the pressure is off for now so they can be a bit more organised, maybe we'll get some new unveilings on Monday or Tuesday?

I suspect they must have a load of money lodged in a few deals waiting to come off, think Talisca waiting for permit fits with that.

2.) 05 Aug 2016 18:48:56
Thanks Ulf, hoping you're right as our squad at the moment is at least 4 good players light.

Big Mick!? NEVER! NEVER! NEVER! It took us three years to sort out and get rid of the rubbish he left behind on big contracts. The man is poison and I want him nowhere near Molineux. OK now all you moron lovers can shout me down but I am entitled to my opinion and will continue to loathe the man.

You may be right but I believe WZ will want to keep all the current squad and new signings together until January and at that point we may well see 3 or 4 leaving.

Good call, Paul! The biggest mistake Morgan made was keeping McCarthy as manager when he was clearly incapable. Oh and before the Mick lovers start bleating on yet again about how he got us promoted, well yes he did (and thank you Mick) but he was nowhere good enough to manage a Prem side.

Up the creek without a paddle. Might as well put one of our forwards in goal because they're doing nothing at all up front.

I had the pleasure of chatting with Don Goodman over a couple of drinks a few years back and he proved to be a really nice and very friendly bloke. He made his love for the Wolves very clear indeed but he also voiced his genuine worries and criticisms of the team and the club's management. I find his comments on any team to be well thought out and sincere and some of you would do well to listen more and whinge less.

I wonder how much we would have to pay Walsall to take Batth and Iorfa? Any fee would be worth it after today.
