Thought we were quite good today, they’ve gone 3rd I think and it took a worldie to score and a couple of worldie saves plus a dodgy ish var decision to stop us scoring, however once we went behind we lost all creativity as per usual.

I thought we were better today, not exactly exciting but at least we competed. A few more chances created, would have kept Bellegarde on rather than Arias. No Hwang or Munetsi which is an improvement and Mane came on. Makes you wonder if Krejci is really injured, think we have already paid for Lopez so he must be injured.
Arias unfortunately is nowhere near as good as Cunha, stating obvious.
Important now that we keep similar side moving forward, Krejci, if he is allowed to play comes back in and I would still like to see more of Lopez.

Played very well first half; need more of the same second half. Martinez had to be at his best.

The biggest problem so far is that Andre and J Gomes offer no foward movement in the centre of midfield we don't have a Ball carrier to take it to the opposition! They are too similar that area needs changing at HT, maybe Gomes goes off with concussion, because how he couldn't see Jackson in acre's of space is quite worrying

Banksy51 spot on with the team bar Krejci out as injured replaced by Arias looks decent. If defence stays strong got the forwards to hurt Villa fingers crossed.

Seen rumours, tomorrow we are playing with JSL up front in a 541 formation. Back 5 of Wolfe, Toti, Agbadou, Mosquera, Jackson, then Andre, Joao, Krejci, Bellegarde.
What are people’s thoughts on this, if true?

I would love to play lopez or mane but that's takeing out a defender or midfielder and with Villas form at the moment Wolves could get walloped.
