Looking at everything I think we are being taught a lesson by Newcastle. If they get diame and Clark they have made 5 signings with English quality who know how to battle and win. They will have signed gayle ritchie hanley diame and clark. Yes we may have money and a new manager but they have consistency and understand how tough it is in the championship so they have got rid of the pre-maddonas and bought players who will dominate games. Yes give the new people a chance but NOBODY we have including the owners and new manager has the first clue about English football. Come on guys let's me realistic.

I don't get it, all these players have the same name and he too apparently went to Benfica recently. So Benfica had two players with the same name! I don't get it, you do your own research.

Wavidsmith, the Teixeira at Porto is the one who played for Liverpool and moved to Porto in May 2016. He was on loan to Brighton last season. The one we've signed is a year younger and started out at Benfica.

Definitely NOT the guy from Liverpool he is at Porto this guy has been at Benfica all his career apart from loans. He has represented his country at youth level up to under 20s same as Ifora / Hause so can't be that bad. A new impetuous was needed and fresh thinking it's what everyone wanted and now it's not good enough. I wonder how you would have felt if Dr Xia the Villa dude would have taken us over?

Dot, I think the main frustration is the fact that 2 of the 3 players signed are only on loan. OK one has played a fair few times for Monaco but the other has little to no experience. The player signed permanently has been injured for the best part of 2 years. Hopefully all 3 will have been scouted and will prove to be massive successes but I think most of the fans wanted players with experience to join rather than us nurturing someone else's players and then sending them back.

Morgan made noises and miss-led us, to be polite. These guys are taking action and I like it!
Personally, I am not expecting miracles. there is a lot of un-doing to be done. Jackett and Thelwell have assembled a squad of very mediocre players. many need to be shipped out. will take time to build a decent set of players.

Loan signing to me are a very safe way to move forward this season, if they are dross we are not landed with 3/ 4 year contracts and high wages. Wolves have been their and done that previously or have you all got short memories?

Perhaps we are signing both the Porto AND Benefica Teixera's? Perhaps it translates as good luck in Chinese? Are there any more we could sign?

And I reckon Walter is brilliant choice as Head Coach, he has attitude and passion which we've been been missing for ages. He could be the making of us, if so we'll make him, how it should be, happy days :-)

I have never heard so much drivel from people and that's why at times as a club we go nowhere. The most exciting times we have had really since sir Jack handed money to graham turner and all you hear is moan moan moan.

The Chinese ethos is about supporting each other and they will invest and invest and invest.

They have put their trust in Jorge Mendes and his people who have effectively employed zenga. They will back him with players and yes they will get some wrong but will they be any worse than they rubbish we have bought in the past .
The loan deals are because of financial fair play and the star players will take up the budget and there will be star players.

Support our owners and stop moaning .

Loan players are the best strategy at the moment. let's build a team to get us promoted. Chances are we would need much better quality players once we are in PL. Then we can go berserk on a good spending spree. Also good players are more likely to want to play for us once we are PL.

If it wasn't for the new owners and Mendes we would be getting players from League 1 and 2 if we're lucky.
With the time that they've had we should be bloody grateful that we've managed to get a couple of quality young players from Benfica on loan and they must want to keep them on their books or else they would have just sold them to us and Silvio looks like a quality defender too

There are a few of us fans that are right behind these changes and appreciate that for a long time we have been nobody's in the world of football and have been living on the exploits of the team of the 1950's

WAKE UP YOU - that's all of you that believe we have a right to be signing top class players because we've hit the jackpot

Why don't you start appreciating what has happened to us, embrace it all and be excited?

Spanish this is quite old news as Fosun withdrew from an Israeli insurance company acquisition earlier this year because of credit issues. We need to be aware that Fosun's major acquisitions are made via loans and not their own cash. Maybe reign in expectations therefore.

A couple of days ago it was reported that Jeff Shi wanted a big release of who he's bought and the way forward and today would be ideal.
My thoughts only, no info to support but it seems a logical step to me.
