2 2 thoughts anyone? I see a great player in Fer Lopez Munetsi. Scored; defending is a bit shambolic. Raul got his goal; some positives in there. I prefer this side over last seasons dross albeit againt championship side I understand but we look like we having a go now at least

Thank God for Raul and that penalty. Wolves were dire at times. No threat. No ideas. Constantly too narrow. Mane was awful.

Hopefully it's just first game nerves.

Ipswich drew Blues last season in the first game and Ipswich were promoted. I think Ipswich got a lucky late equaliser. Blues battered them in that game.

Hopefully it's just first game nerves.

However, Wolves conceded two goals because of their centre backs. Toti was dreadful. Mosquera was poor. So was Moller Wolfe. Bentley isn't good enough.

Once again, Mane was ***ing dreadful.

Just watched the match. If anybody thinks Wolves are getting promoted think again.

What a heap of crap just like last season. Blackburn played Wolves off the park.

If Wolves don't spend some money they could be in a fight to avoid relegation.

One shot on target all game from which they scored and then a pen.

Defence no change just as bad.

No goal threat just like last season. I know first game of season but that was shocking.

What happened to the high press and free flowing football has anything changed because on that show no.

Dmac, I see stats saying 18 shots/4 on target for Wolves. That says to me, we are getting offensive opportunities but poor quality shots.

Not sure I would classify that as no goal threat.

Peixoto got it all wrong. We at least need the following.
A half decent keeper.
A pacey physical centre back.
Cozier Duberry.

So in the end, we scrape through with a draw. It was a panel as his arms clearly in the box, so I don’t know why he is raising it. Saying that, the only positive that I can see is Shi and Jackson who were watching the game need to pull the finger out and get us some players in now. Depending if Johan is OK or if he is out for any length of time, we need two center backs. Hoping James wasn’t watching the game and it’s already signed, because we need that creativity and attacking mind for sure.

Lopez was great and, apart from that, we just weren’t moving it around as well as I had hoped. Still a point on the board is better than a loss, which I thought was inevitable after they went 2-1. Hopefully this is the kick of the backside that they need and now I can see that the Championship will be a tough league.

Toti should've had a better clearance that led to the goal. Everything is coming down there right and so Tony has probably targeted that side of our fence because he knows it's weak. As long as Toti is a wolf player, I'm always going to support him but on this evidence and as we've known for a long time, he should not be the captain and we are desperate for someone to fill that void.

Wolves have been really poor at times during the first half. The Hugo Bueno injury won't have helped, especially as Moller Wolfe doesn't look fit. The Blackburn RB is having him on toast.

As for Toti, can't defend him at all. He is utterly bloomin' awful. If he isn't replaced in the very near by either Krejci or someone else, Wolves are in trouble.

Wouldn't say he's the worst manager, but he's had 5 months. Ok not his team but the win or even draw ratio is shocking.
If you think the "rebuild" will help us you're all delusional. Have people been watching absolute garbage,
I hope I eat my words but after 10 games he will be gone rubbish, apologies

Just not at it tonight, unfortunately. Missed Andre and didn’t have the same passion as a few days ago.

Better to concentrate on the league now anyway ;).

Seen some odd team news for tomorrow, team that I have seen is:-
Sa, Wolfe, Santi, Krejci, Mosquera, Jackson, Andre, Joao, Angel, Hwang and Armstrong.
Surely Hugo and R. Gomes start, was also hoping Hwang would not start with our new additions.
Think Rob was again praising Hwang in the week, guess he has too.
Be interesting to see our starting line up tomorrow as always.
