I think selling Diogo Jotta for forty million was good business for Wolves (no second guessing) . I am delighted he is playing so well for Liverpool. He was a good servant at Wolves. My question is his good form related to coaching or the players surrounding him?

His trouble at Wolves was that he was mainly towards the end of his Wolves career being deployed as a winger whereas he is basically a striker/ Left forward. Probably helps he's being played where he's meant to be, along with a system that is more attacking.

I am 80 years old. I played for a South African Junior team before a match when Wolves toured S Africa in 1956/7. Met Billy Wright and have an autographed book "Captain Of England" by him. Have been a Wolves fan ever since and have lived in the USA since 1961. I come over once a year to see Wolves play. I love your site except for negative comments by folks like SQ. Hope he stops posting. Go Wolves.

I too met Billy Wright - in fact I worked with him at ATV and Central TV. What a true gentleman he was.
I have to agree with you the negative comments do get me down also but there are some (what I would call) sensible people on here who can look at situations in a common sense point of view. So for that reason I keep posting the occasional post which I suppose some would call a 'happy clappers' post.

Welcome Bobby, it's a prevalige to swap posts with someone who met the great man. , I was introduced to the wolves by my grandad. Who at the time was friendly by mail, with the bishop of Wolverhampton, he received regular evening papers with wolves headlines in, I have a book at home from Kate 50's I think with a picture of the ground they wanted to build for the team, in those days it looked amazing, look forward to it future posts. I have come to the conclusion to accept the negative comments as the only way to remain enjoying the site.
There are great wolves fans who like to share their passion and love for wolves on here.
For my sake and of others please keep posting as I like your passion for wolves a lot.
My dad would of been the same age as Bobby 80 years old and he saw Billy Wright in his pomp.
Wolves fans of that era are just as much legends to me as are my dad and Billy Wright.

Welcome Bobby. If the site were to only welcome views the same as our own it would not be a banter site! Whilst I am generally positive everyone is different. I will always stand up for anyone who takes an alternative view as long as it's not abusive. It's what people have fought over many times. Freedom of speech is our most important right! As for Billy Wright, stand out man and great for our club and now city.
