Talking wolves has a video explaining it.

5.) 23 May 2024
23 May 2024 09:33:24
Sounds like a winner

6.) 23 May 2024
23 May 2024 10:38:32
Cut price manufacturer, sold to fans at extortionate prices

7.) 23 May 2024
23 May 2024 13:29:01
And then they announce a massive increase in ST prices for next year

8.) 23 May 2024
23 May 2024 14:19:38
More money for players, which everyone moans about. Club can't win.

9.) 23 May 2024
23 May 2024 15:28:05
Memberships have also gone up 18%.

Match tickets are due to increase by at least 10%.

New kit will cost minimum £60 but caveat for this will be that due to the make up of the deal, Wolves will get 75% of all profits.

Looks like I'll be going to less matches next season as I simply can't afford £150 every 2 weeks (tickets x 2, travel, food etc).

10.) 23 May 2024
23 May 2024 20:01:16
Camo1, if the club can’t afford new signings, without seriously fleecing loyal fans, the club really must be in a poor state

11.) 23 May 2024
23 May 2024 20:44:53
Everything is going up in price. Everyone has to make decisions about what they can and can't afford.

I can't afford to go to as many matches next season but I'll still follow the club.

The only way fans can really make a statement to clubs is by staying away and not attending/buying tickets.

12.) 23 May 2024
23 May 2024 21:24:31
Your season ticket works out at £38.69 per game, which is less than an adult ticket via membership was last year. The question should be why were they so cheap before, almost youth ticket prices via membership. Like I said before everyone just wants to moan about everything.

13.) 23 May 2024
23 May 2024 21:59:47
So you are happy with your ST going up by over £100 then?

14.) 23 May 2024
23 May 2024 22:46:11
HalfTimePie, I don't think anyone is happy. I wasn't happy when my energy bills went from £82 per month to £252 per month or when my Council Tax went up £96, or my food shopping etc.

I have made the decision that I need to pay for the essentials and unfortunately, my attending games is a luxury therefore I am looking at my finances and decided that Wolves FC is now a luxury I cannot afford to go to as much as I did, but I'll still follow them.

15.) 24 May 2024
23 May 2024 23:11:36
No one said happy, just realistic. Footballers earn crazy money and the fans have always been used to foot some of the bill. If the season ticket prices stayed the same and we didn't sign any decent players, this forum would be full of morning about the club having no money to buy new players. No one is making you buy the ticket and there is a long waiting list for those who would jump at your ticket.

Jas my mate, that is wasn’t intended for you buddy. Your comment appeared after I’d sent mine.

No worries HalfTimePie.

18.) 24 May 2024
24 May 2024 10:46:04
Jas mate. People on here know you well enough, know your commitment and support for the club. I’d never question either of those.

19.) 24 May 2024
24 May 2024 11:19:15
So, having thought about it all night, I've renewed my and my sons memberships. I have however decided that I will reduce the number of matches I attend from 15 to 12.

20.) 25 May 2024
25 May 2024 00:11:44
The price of tickets to Premier League games is much lower than many sports leagues in North America. I guess you've got spoilt.

21.) 27 May 2024
27 May 2024 10:00:42
Sorry Handsome but that's absolute nonsense! What you've basically said there is that 'your elitist sport entertainment is nowhere near as elitist as ours so you should count yourself lucky!'
What that seems to ignore is that football never was intended to be an elitist sport, we've all just stood by over the years and watch it be high jacked and we are now where we are. Personally I have spent MANY posts on here defending Jeff and Fosun but I'm done with that. I think they couldn't have possibly handled this price rise any worse than they have! I'm done with them, they shall have no more of my money! Putting up kid and disabled tickets at the rate they have is an absolute disgrace! They are just leeches and frankly I'm sick of them and their complete inability to even try and show a shred of respect for the fans. People can say what they want about Morgan but he never showed the level of disdain for the fans that Fosun do and that was even after some morons swore at him in the car park! ?

22.) 27 May 2024
27 May 2024 20:23:23
Why don't they just create their own kit manufacturer and then they can keep all of the money?
Don't Wolves have their own fashion line?

23.) 28 May 2024
28 May 2024 14:03:22
Okay first off this is them making their own kit. They are launching the brand tomorrow in Manchester. The fact is most sports brands don’t own the factories that make their stuff. For example: dorma textiles that supply bedding. Their stuff used to be made by Kaleidoscope in a place called Chinley in the High Peak. They then moved it out of the country. So actually this is probably the best considering 60% profit is the sweet point.

Now the season tickets and prices…. For a long time Wolves have been eating good compared to others. I don’t think it’s that expensive. The problem is Wolves should have raised prices slowly over the last five seasons as it wouldn’t have looked as bad. I’ve seen some on twitter and other places saying the same as me “don’t like it? I will gladly have your ticket” because as someone not from Wolvo (I’m from Buxton) and from a family of City/Liverpool/MUFC so getting tickets sometimes is hard! And then on top of that we are called “tourists” and “not loyal” … I’m sour I’m not loyal enough for you! I’m sorry I’m willing to pay 10% extra to see the club I love. I guess I’m just not as “loyal” and just a “tourist”. I can understand people being angry over it but to simply call us willing to pay such horrible things.

Many of you here support wolves because your family did. I support wolves because whilst I was taken as a kid to Maine Road, Anfield and Old Trafford it was my first trip to the Mol that made me love football. I was only 10 but I remember the game. Against Wednesday. Sylvan scored in 91st min and the crowd went wild. Some guy grabbed me with my uncle laughing. As someone who has never fit in. Even as a child I knew I didn’t fit in. But in that moment I belonged. So for someone to call me a tourist? Forgive me if I get very angry but what else am I meant to feel?

I worked at Dormer in Chinley until they shiped it out to Pacistan

Or, handsome lad, you get a shirt from A****s, N**e and get paid to promote them. Dunno which works out the best financially but quality wise I'd suggest the first.
Produce your own cheap, take 75% of ridiculously inflated price and obviously you're cashing in if they sell.
Fenrir as a wolves fan from Oxford I can't afford/budget for the occasional game if able, but for a regular seat in the regular spot and subjected to KO times being moved at the whim of the tv companies, normally the more attractive fixture, the price upfront as leapt out of context at a time when we're all under a cost of living crisis.
Some may have incomes and circumstances to accept this, but many, as reflected in the petition, don't. Great you're a wolves fan like me, but please appreciate the the local regular fans who make the club we love .

I meant when I can afford the odd game by the way.

27.) 30 May 2024
30 May 2024 14:14:34
Great post Fenrir and we can all picture the passion and excitement of a 91st minute winner.
These days though it would be the 107th minute and the goal would need to be checked by VAR.

Ps. Sudu is not a new company. The manufacturing factory maybe, football shirts maybe, but they normally produce cycling gear.
