In the words of Roy Keane “he’s a baby”
Never wanted to be here
Take the money and run invest in players who want to play.
Let him sit on City’s bench til he gets sent back to Portugal.
Don’t sign a contract if you can’t honour it
Sure we can give him the warmest of Molineux welcomes ?

Never liked him always said he was overrated and we paid too much for him, hope the door hits him on his way out might knock some respect into him.
Saying that though Pepe is the right kind of manager for him as he will not tolerate Nunes childish behaviour.

Step aside Danny Mills
Step aside Ben Foster
Public enemy number one is in our sights.

He can go, get someone in who wants to play for the club. I hope he's got some thinsulate gloves and a snood, it's cold sitting on the bench in winter

28 Aug 2023 18:14:31
Shi and Hobbs need to sort this out like NOW
No good ducking out a the eleventh hour
All I can say if he goes on deadline day and we can’t invest we need to vote with our feet.
Earn your corn and do what’s right for the club .
Severally p**** Off

28 Aug 2023 18:20:43
No more wondering about what his best position is, on the bench at city, if he doesn’t want to play for us then fine, Hodge does

11.) 28 Aug 2023
28 Aug 2023 18:29:44
It alright saying get rid let him go and I agree we should only have players who want to be here. The firs thing is we should never buy these players in the first place for so mutch money first guedes now nunes.the problem being if a big club puts in an offer that us or any other lower ranked club turn down as we think the player is worth more the player stops playing and forced through a move and the bigger club is laughing at us. This is why I think the transfer window should close the start of the season

CB73 I would like to go back to a permanent transfer system with no window. I'm struggling to see whst was wrong with it. If I recall clubs were only banned from signing players in the last 2 months of the season. That way a player could have a strop indefinitely if they wanted but could also be sold when the club wanted.

If it's true then let him rot, I say. Wouldn't see his gummy smile then would we?

I fairness Hobbs has sorted it out, he's told city what the price is and that is that! What else is he supposed to do?! Nunes is the one that is a disgrace, signed a large contract just 12 months ago but now throwing his toys out the pram, absolutely disgusting behaviour! Interesting as well that it is being said that we haven't even received a second bid! Does make me laugh though, does he really think refusing to train will impress Pep cause I suspect its more likely to put him off! Absolute tool ?

Send him back to the Bash street gang utd, they’re missing Plug

16.) 28 Aug 2023
28 Aug 2023 20:07:53
Perhaps don’t let him go, he can go to our under 23’s / 21’s, and see out his contract there.

28 Aug 2023 20:24:19
Predicted it a week ago.
It's what happens these days.
Just do the deal.and let's move on.
Who cares whether it is £50m, £60m, £70m. Just move on.

18.) 28 Aug 2023
28 Aug 2023 20:29:38
Hodge wants to play for us .he's a tiger never gives up O'Neill time u gave this player a chance.u can see he's 110% committed.hope nunes brakes his leg or ACL goes on first game at city if he goes .it's kick out bad rubbish. Welcome Hodge

19.) 28 Aug 2023
28 Aug 2023 21:22:24
I agree Canvey, let him rot. He can kiss goodbye to international call ups and his form and edge will go and no one will want him then. Never thought he fitted in. Another one who thinks he is better than he really is.
If he goes to City he will only be a bench warmer.

Sorry Port but to see our current situation re FFP and saying 'who cares if its £50m, £60m, £70m is ridiculous! Have you not realised yet that it absolutely matters, in fact that approach to buying players is pretty much why we are in the current transfer crisis we are in!

Besides which what kind of message does it send out?! We'd be fighting off derisory bids every window after! I do feel for the club sometimes, we all moan about their (previously) flawed approach to transfers then Hobbs comes in and trys to do things properly and still peeps moan?! We absolutely SHOULD stick to our price else we might as well relegate ourselves right now!

29 Aug 2023 07:15:00
Bully totally agree with you point about Hobbs.
Shi's gross mismanagement of the Club's financials over the last 3 years has created this mess.
I am staggered he is still employed!

I'm sorry BB3 but I have to disagree.
This is now about psychology. If the city transfer doesn't materialise then we have a dysfunctional unmotivated and potentially disruptive player in the squad (on huge money) and that can then have a very negative impact on the rest of the team, morale and performances.

He's already decided to miss training and strike so don't expect him to change his stance and suddenly become a Wolves legend.
What will then happen is that in the next window or at the end of the season, he will be offloaded, but at that stage other suitors will know that we want him out and his market value will be depressed as a result.

So, as I say, for me, just get him out bow, for whatever you can get for him otherwise the other impacts could be more costly that an extra few million quid.
Just my opinion amd I know others will view it differently. Cheers

that's fair enough port, i get your reasoning. at no point have i suggested that he we will be happy to stay in the long term, think it's already pretty clear by now he was only ever using us as a stepping stone. you say about the psychology of it and i agree but from the other angle, what happens to our team discipline when you tell players that if you don't like things/get your way then just go on strike and the club will capitulate?! cause we already seem to have a fairly serious problem with discipline within our sqaud so not sure how the club making themselves look weak/backing down helps that in the long run?! then there's that pesky old ffp, cause we still have very real problems with that so where are we going to make the money needed to actually replace nunes if all we actually make on this deal is £5m exaclty? like i say i get your reasoning, in terms of the here and now but i'm just not sure how it helps our squad management in the long term? ?

Too true. Its a tough one.
At the momwnt we have no hard strong leadership in the boardroom to pull people (or deals) into line. That's our weakness.
I'm very hopeful for GON, he seems a responsible down-to-earth grafter. But he needs a strong and settled hierarchy otherwise, as you say, others may follow suit.

How did we pay too much for Nunes if we make a profit selling him this window?

26.) 29 Aug 2023

It may have escaped your notice, Handsome, but Chelsea's recent willingness to pay massively overinflated fees for midfielders has had a major knock on effect. No one, even crystal ball gazers, could have predicted what was going to happen.
