That should end talk of Europe next season, and I think this is a good thing, we barely have a squad to compete at home and we don’t have the money to build a squad to compete in Europe and 60+ games next season. Best thing would be to finish as high as we can but not in Europe and keep building for a better season next season.

We could not afford him now and to be honest, as much as a brilliant player he was while at wolves, we have moved on and become more attacking team .

Neves was great for us, but as mentioned he's moved on along with us. We have equally as good individual Midfielders now with Gomes, Doyle and Lemina. Personally I think each one is as good as Neves.

The saying is never go back slinger. Neves was and will be a legend from our development and history, to come back now could place too much expectation and thereon maybe a disappointment on that legacy.
He's part of wolves history and always will be.

He was generally brilliant for us Blackfords and none of the three you mention are anywhere near as good.Lemina can tackle but his middle to long range passing is suspect and the same wih Gomes. Vice versa with Doyle. Neves can do both. Gomes and Doyle clearly have potential but also a long way to go.Without Neves last season we'd almost certainly now be a Championship team.

Semedo might be getting better going forward, but only until half way forward. But defensively he’s not getting any better, how often have we seen him get beaten at the back post, a better sub would have been to bring Doyle on instead of Traore, we needed someone to put some forward passes in.

You can see the tactics now, get close to a wolves player in the box, go down, penalty every time. It’s shocking how little contact is needed to get a penalty against us, even if you touch the ball it doesn’t matter.

My first match was v Tranmere in the league cup, it was a birthday present for my 10th birthday in 1973. I’ve got the match programme which cost 8p. I took 2 mates with me (a Leeds fans and a Chelsea fan). Tranmere scored first, my mates cheered, my dad shat himself and always said we only got out in 1 piece because we won. I don’t know how much it cost to go to matches back then as I went in with E&S photographers and sat with them behind the goal most of the time.
