Rated I have posted that good look to the guy as normal the doom mongers are out in force we'll be relegated don't think so wait till Monday see how they perform.

At least he will get on with the job. The panto can stop.

Hilarious how when the club is in turmoil, all of a sudden new posters pop up to try and wind-up and cause distain / anger.

5.) 09 Aug 2023
09 Aug 2023 15:38:42
Give the guy a chance, this guy kept a very poor Bournemouth up.

{Ed001's Note - he was very highly regarded at Liverpool too when he was coaching there.}

6.) 09 Aug 2023
09 Aug 2023 15:40:20
Kally what a ridiculous statement.
How on earth do you know he is a yes man?
He managed to get an inferior squad at Bournemouth to the same spot as us last year and didn’t need almost £90m and 6 new players to do it!

7.) 09 Aug 2023
09 Aug 2023 15:48:16
Ed, do you the current situation with Joao Moutinho as I heard an hour or so ago Wolves had offered him a one year contract?
I know he fell out with JL but don’t know if he has signed for anyone else?

{Ed001's Note - as far as I am aware he is still a free agent.}

First time poster and only posting out of anger tbh. Bournemouth spent 50mil in Jan, conceded the most goals (59), most shots faced (514), fewest shots taken (281), fewest key passes (206) and lowest possession (39%) out of the entire league. The fact they stayed in the prem was baffling, not exactly skilful. You'd hope Shi looked at the stats but I get the feeling they just looked at his rate. My mates who support Bournemouth are getting a great laugh out of this right now though lol.

9.) 09 Aug 2023
09 Aug 2023 16:44:24
Wolfram it's alright giving facts yes they don't look good but you forget Wolves were the lowest scorers in the league and we stayed up. You just can't take all the facts and say they should be relegated it doesn't work like that if it did we would be in the championship with are goal scoring problems.

10.) 09 Aug 2023
09 Aug 2023 16:47:00
Although JL has gone, I'm fairly content with the appointment, would of preferred Potter but we probably couldn't afford him, I think oneill was unfairly sacked from Bournemouth and I'm hopeful with a better 11 he could improve further, think the days of league 1 are easily forgotten! We don't have a divine right to be challenging for Europe, accept that staying up is our aim and I fully believe with O'Neil and our team, we will have the quality to do so. WAW

11.) 09 Aug 2023
09 Aug 2023 17:11:03
I'll try again WolfMax Wolves were the lowest goal scorers in the league 34 but we stayed up you can quote all the facts you like but at the end of the day they don't matter.

12.) 09 Aug 2023
09 Aug 2023 17:47:18
Pay no heed to WolfMax - he fell at the first hurdle, read his comment back again: opening line "First time poster and only posting out of anger tbh" last sentence "My mates who support Bournemouth are getting a great laugh out of this right now though lol"

13.) 09 Aug 2023
09 Aug 2023 18:06:53
If Max has got mates that support Bournemouth, Debs, it'll probably equate to their entire crowd!Anyone who can keep them up must have something about him.

14.) 09 Aug 2023
09 Aug 2023 18:29:51
Like I stated they got a YES MAN!
Don't promise a manager who manage Top sides a money chest to get him in then move tha goal posts not once but twice, Jokers Remember J.Lo was our first choice from the start!

15.) 09 Aug 2023
09 Aug 2023 19:14:41
How exactly is Gary O'Neill a "yes man"?

16.) 09 Aug 2023
09 Aug 2023 19:32:06
He just going to do what Fosun want him to do, Fosun will sell a few more players not replace them and O'NEIL Will not complain,

???

09 Aug 2023 20:17:25
You seem to know so much about O'Neil, Kally but have totally ignored Deb's more than reasonable question. I'd bet, therefore, that you know diddly squat.

19.) 09 Aug 2023
09 Aug 2023 22:08:57
Just like you, know nothing, don't understand the game.think you know it all but you know yr own crap out ya own mouth, full of it,

20.) 09 Aug 2023
09 Aug 2023 22:09:15
Give O'Neill a chance he deserves that.jl gone past is past let's move on.lot of people saying O'Neill isn't the man.u can't say that what will u say if we're in top half at Christmas and we're scoring goals

21.) 09 Aug 2023
09 Aug 2023 22:11:08
Kally O'Neill won't be gone oct.to me he's young and let's see how he performs yeah .the man deserves that

22.) 10 Aug 2023
10 Aug 2023 07:37:44
He will be a yes man.like lage was.he just wants a job and we wer the first to give him one.hwwont complain or speak out.clubs wernt exactly lining up for him wer they.or saudi!.and hobbs sez its football snobbery because bmouth sacked him and so he's not good enuf for us.NO.the fact is nmouth sacked him so he wasnt good enuf for them.but obviously he IS good enuf for us tho.shows the thinking of wolves at present go from a world class/famous coach to one that got sacked from bmouth. and finished below us and has got barely any experience.so the thi king is justvtry to stay up this ssn.then what?.sack him

23.) 10 Aug 2023
10 Aug 2023 07:40:05
Also if 1 of the top 6 lost their manager do you think theyd be desperately trying to get o neil in.dont think so.shows the backward thinking of fosun right now

24.) 10 Aug 2023
10 Aug 2023 07:43:15
AND he did have 50mil in january so wasnt totally unfunded

25.) 10 Aug 2023
10 Aug 2023 08:50:15
But he was good enough, the objective for Bournemouth with the squad he had, was survival, he achieved it.What planet are you on? We aren't a top 6 side, right now we are a lower to mid table side. For THIS season our aim will be to stay up and then NEXT season we can spend, it's that simple why are being finding this hard to comprehend? We paid an arm and a leg to get lop and now he's thrown his dummy out of the pram about something he knew about towards the end of last season which I presume has cost us more money in paying him off as lop didn't resign because he would not have recieved a penmy, why on earth would we when we are under incredible financial pressure go and over pay for a manager that could go and do exactly the same come January? It's for one season, suck it up and get behind the lads

26.) 10 Aug 2023
10 Aug 2023 09:21:41
I agree with Buxwolf, O'Neil isn't good enough, cannot see him winning the respect of the current players, Majority of Bournemouth fans were happy to see him go. O'Neil must be in dreamland getting the Wolves job, but let's be honest he was just a cheap option if they need to get rid off.

Not sure it's fair to say 'most of the Bournemouth fans were pleased to see him go' cause it simply isn't true! Most of the Bournemouth fans were very happy to get one of the most up and coming young managers in Europe (Iraola) but that is not a reflection on the job O'Niel did! Any Bournemouth fan that thought he did a bad job would have to be deluded! Not just deluded but also a fool, they would never have got Iraola had O'Niel not performed the impossible task of keeping them up! There team was nailed on for relegation under Scott, he pretty much got sacked for saying it! You can debate the quality of footy under O'Niel that's fair enough but to say he didn't do a good job keeping up what was a bang average Champ team is just nonsense I'm afraid! ?

29.) 10 Aug 2023
10 Aug 2023 11:59:23
Apparently Kally, it was Mat Hobbs and his panel those chose O'Neil, Jeff Shi was not involved but he accepted their recommendation.

30.) 10 Aug 2023
10 Aug 2023 14:01:15
Shi will accept O'Neil resignation after 6 or 7 games ??? and also Hobbs and his so called Panel.

31.) 10 Aug 2023
10 Aug 2023 14:07:46
I'm pretty sure Lage actually spoke out about lack of transfers and said we needed more signings.
Just give O'neil a chance instead of writing him off before he's even started no wonder we get called the most fickle fans in the country.

32.) 10 Aug 2023
10 Aug 2023 15:39:42
And that will make you happy will it Kally?! You sure your a Wolves fan?! O'Niel might not be my choice but that doesn't mean I want him to fail, cause ya know I'm a WWFC fan! ?

33.) 10 Aug 2023
10 Aug 2023 17:28:17
OK Kally1, give us your vision of what Wolves should have done and who they should have got in.

34.) 10 Aug 2023
10 Aug 2023 18:15:37
I have genuinely never seen some fans of a club, want that club to fail miserably so badly, you think a manager doing poorly will get rid of a board? Hasn't exactly worked that way with the glazers has it? The fans have wanted them out for years and many managers have failed there. Same fans that will say GON is the best thing since sliced bread if we are in the top half. Utterly embarrassing.

35.) 10 Aug 2023
10 Aug 2023 18:22:38
I'm smelling a wum with Kally.

36.) 10 Aug 2023

They should have kept J.Lo, last Saturday that was the best they played for years, Shi should not have got J.Lo in the first place and promise him funds in the first place and made him feel he was going to be backed, when J.Lo originally stated No, they should have moved on and got Nuno back, Shi was not even there to discuss J.Lo severance pay or take part in the recruitment of the new manager, that says it al for me.

37.) 10 Aug 2023
10 Aug 2023 20:07:18
And why does any of that explain why you want GON to fail exactly?!

38.) 10 Aug 2023
10 Aug 2023 20:23:01
So the board should have given in to Lopetegui's demands? And when we were sanctioned because we breached FFP, how would you circumnavigate that?

Lopetegui was promised money yes. But he spent £80m in January so left himself with about £20m in the summer. This is a 50/50 at fault issue. It has also been discovered that JL insisted on the Cunha deal even though the board thought he was valued at £30, but JL wanted him so the board backed him.

You also say we should have got Nuno back but did you realise that he's on £4m a year and last November the compensation would have been £6m?

39.) 10 Aug 2023
10 Aug 2023 20:35:36
Bournemouth didn't want him so why is he good enough for us, I dnt want him to fail but I think he will, its taking a big risk and I'm answering Jas M question, you just off loaded yr question.

40.) 11 Aug 2023
10 Aug 2023 23:12:34
Because he kept a sub par Bournemouth team that Scott Parker said wasn't good enough, in the Premier league, that's why. There's no guarantee Bournemouths new manager will keep them up.

41.) 11 Aug 2023
11 Aug 2023 07:54:47
Supposed top class coaches Klopp and Emery brought their expensively assembled squads to Molineux towards the end of last season and left with blooded noses. O'Neil, who couldn't manage a drinking session at a brewery according to some, turned up with his bunch of championship no hopers and left with all three points.
Just saying folks.
It might not work but, like all true Wolves fans, I'll be 100% behind him.

42.) 11 Aug 2023
11 Aug 2023 08:10:20
Also because Bournemouth found themselves in the enviable position of choosing between O'Niel and Iraola who's is one of the most sought after young talents around! Did I miss an alternate reality where we had that option as well then?!

43.) 11 Aug 2023
11 Aug 2023 11:07:00
When all has been said and done, O'Neill is in place. Don't write him off before a ball has even been kicked. He actually has more Premier League experience than Lopetegui when you think about it. He also outsmarted Lopetegui at Molineux. O'Neill is a dark horse and will surprise many people who underestimate him. He's nobody's fool. He will probably prove to be an Eddie Howe/Graham Potter type. I predict survival this season, around 12th/14th place finish. Then we can spend next summer.

44.) 11 Aug 2023
11 Aug 2023 19:04:18
Get behind him deserves a shot tough start for us bizarrely 1 home and 3 away to start if we can get 2 wins even a win and a draw that will settle the nerves
4 defeats though is a possibility a real possibility
But you know what we are WOLVES going for 4 points from the first 4.
How do you guys see it, what’s your predictions/ feelings after 4 games …

45.) 12 Aug 2023
12 Aug 2023 00:58:55
The first year Wolves were back in the Premier League, Nuno said he was happy with the players he had.
People laughed.
Wolves finished 7th.

46.) 12 Aug 2023
12 Aug 2023 07:03:16
Again with the re-writing history, we'd JUST signed Patricio, Moutinho, Raúl, Jonny and Adama! Who laughed at that exactly?! Probably the single best window we've had in my life time to be honest! ?
