Andy Lonergan is in talks over a move to Oldham Athletic. Expected to complete a deal by early next week so I'm told.
Ebanks-Landell will not be moving to Sheffield United, but to Blackburn Rovers instead. The player's set for a medical there over the weekend.

Could the striker be diony as according to mate on twitter (I'm not on there) there's a pic at Birmingham airport this morning and the " rumour " claims that all 3 douglas and two others were shown round compton this morning? As with Hassan he's out injured till mid-end of August I believe so who knows wouldn't mind diony tbh and Sa would be great signing as I've read a few comments from Porto fans on sofifa on his page saying (about 2-3 months) he should be number 1 next season.

Can't help but feel that a footballer who puts pictures on Instagram of going to the local airport and then arriving at destination airport is lacking a bit of class. Looks like a win win situation to me. It's a loan deal so if Gladon starts scoring on a regular basis and we are struggling, we've got the option to recall him. Hopefully this move will give him his confidence back. If not we move him on.

Celtic aren't interested in barry douglas contrary to what some reports are saying. Reason being they have the left back slot already stocked with kieran tierney. Konyaspor are trying to up the value of douglas by saying celtic want him. Should be signing by the end of the week. That leaves the next few days maximum.
Personally think he will be a great signing. Played in some volatile leagues, poland/ turkey, has to be very head strong at 27 to have already done it, not many at a young age would, european experience, Also posesses a very good left foot and gives the team balance.

This guy is mainly a winger but occasionally plays attacking mid.
Im all for decent players but what's the point of wingers if there is no one to aim for! Especially if we play one upfront. Maybe Costa is off otherwise doesn't make sense. We need a full blooded attacking mid and striker.

I think you have to look at clubs transfer business across the championship, its only then do you see who is going to be a threat this year.
Looking at transfers to date you can't look beyond Norwich, they have made some very astute signings with their new German manager's connections
At the moment I think Wolves need to up their game, particularly when recruiting for central midfield and up front
Will be interesting to see how the remainder of the transfer market pans out and how strong the team will be in all positions compared to our rivals.
