Dont know how true it is but some seem to think that we are interested in lyon RB/ RWB kenny tete don't know much about him but sounds like from what they are saying he is a decent player.

wolvessteve

1.) 18 Jan 2019 14:18:28
According to rumour a 7m bid has been accepted and we're talking to him - I don't know for certain.

2.) 18 Jan 2019 14:32:26
Anybody asked Debbie McGee because speculation about Tete has featured in the press?

3.) 18 Jan 2019 21:24:42
Mikebailey, your grammar needs to be improved. Poor punctuation.

09 Aug 2018 13:47:52
Seems like after dendoncker there could be 1 more signing and that's it and its a wing back a couple names being mentioned are danny simpson and victor moses I really hope that we don't end our transfer window with the signing of danny simpson.

wolvessteve

1.) 09 Aug 2018 14:38:10
Dendoncker just announced as a year long loan - permanent next summer.

2.) 09 Aug 2018 14:49:51
Simpson LOL.

3.) 09 Aug 2018 15:29:48
There are Wolves fans going on Twitter complaining that Danny Simpson would be an 'embarrassing' signing. Really?
What Simpson would bring to Wolves is a lot of Premier league nous. He has been at a club that has struggled-then with the same club won the title-that experience could prove invaluable. Maybe if his name was Dannio Simpsono, those fans might change their minds.

4.) 09 Aug 2018 15:51:25
Dannio simpsono still wouldn't want him.

5.) 09 Aug 2018 15:54:13
Come back Barry Douglas. all is forgiven!

6.) 09 Aug 2018 15:57:22
There's a good wing back playing at Leeds. Why did we let him go?

7.) 09 Aug 2018 17:25:14
Get over it Taffy.

8.) 09 Aug 2018 19:56:18
Because he turned up late for training then had a go at Nuno when Nuno had a go at him. So Nuno got rid. You don’t mess with Nuno.

9.) 10 Aug 2018 08:51:32
No pleasing some of the now high and mighty Wolves fans who only want superstar calibre players and hang players out to dry with little understanding of Nuno and his building of a strong squad .

Put it this way if wolves are looking at such signings

Simpson . premiership player since 2014
Has won Efl Championship twice
Premier league champions

Douglas . (as much as we love him)
Efl champions ( ⭐️)

Polish Super Cup
Turkish Cup
Never played in premier league

A good addition to the squad in my opinion.

10.) 10 Aug 2018 10:35:49
A very good transfer window. I'd have like to have seen a big centre half and another top striker. Can't always have it all. This will be a very hard season in the prem. Much harder than in the Champ than folks may think, I'm thinking. Our team have had very little time in pre season to play together and gel. This will take time. I will settle for staying up and halfway will be very good in my view. :-)

Maybe the loan window will be useful?

11.) 10 Aug 2018 12:27:20
Wolves will break Chelsea record tomorrow for starting the most Portuguese players the record is three.

12.) 10 Aug 2018 10:48:34
We don't have a loan window if i'm right i'm sure the loan window is only for EFL clubs.

13.) 10 Aug 2018 18:27:27
Would of liked to have seen us bring a striker in, think we was quick in getting players out more than what we should of! Should of kept adobe and Douglas.

03 Aug 2018 02:30:55
Tim nash on twitter say there could still be 3 signings before the window ends thursday one has to be traore i'm sure the second is a CB still seeing people keep mentioning chris smalling but who could the third be my guess is either a WB or a CM but don't know what players for those positions.

Also can't see us signing another striker and from now to january jimenez and bonatini along with jota on occasions if needed will play the number 9 position.

wolvessteve

1.) 03 Aug 2018 08:48:35
Wolves to break transfer record three times in a row.

Zinchenco £16m
Traore £17m
Guedes £40m.

2.) 03 Aug 2018 08:56:37
We had a bid for Belgian reserve mf Dendonker turned down we are certainly aiming for more world class players.

3.) 03 Aug 2018 09:03:19
Goncalvez from psg will be the biggy.

26 Jul 2018 00:10:39
We won't sign another striker jimenez will be first choice and bonatini second we will probs sign another winger maybe another defender and midfielder.

wolvessteve

1.) 26 Jul 2018 06:48:15
Yep can see that happening also.

Winger
RWB
Box to box midfielder

Or potentially CB if the right one pops up.

I could see that being us done.

2.) 27 Jul 2018 09:13:00
CB is our priority or should be because last season when we didn't have Coady and Boly playing we were poor at the back even Bennett proved essential with Batth Hause and Miranda not doing so well I know we have Saiss but another Boly is what we need.

23 Jul 2018 15:44:28
According to tim nash moutinho is having a medical today and his arrival means a possible swoop for victor wanyama has been shelved.

wolvessteve

1.) 23 Jul 2018 16:03:17
So they said this week was going to be one of the biggest in Wolves history. INCOMING.

Joao Moutinho £5m
Adama Traore £18m
Jonny Castro Season Loan
Andre Silva £30m
Andre Gomes £30m / Victor Wanyama £15m
Yanny Mina Season Loan / Bastos £17m.

2.) 23 Jul 2018 16:38:27
Is that the carlsberg advert for wolves fans 1877
If we pull them all off you lot can see me strip naked at the mol next season.

3.) 23 Jul 2018 16:50:50
What a potential team!

Jota Silva Costa

Douglas Moutinho Neves Jonny

Boly Coady Mina

Patricio

Subs: Ruddy, Doc, Hause, Saiss, Traore, Jiminez, Cav.

4.) 23 Jul 2018 17:01:17
Let's hope that we don't then!

5.) 23 Jul 2018 19:00:08
Don't forget about Zinchencko.

6.) 23 Jul 2018 19:29:34
What we need is 2 proven goal scorers at the sharp end for doing the business in the final third. Just my opinion. The ball has to go into that oppositions goal. Simples! ⚽️😉👍.

Since it looks like we won't be getting a backup striker my only guess is if jimenez gets injured at somepoint the only thing we can do is go back to a front 3 because we have no one like jimenez traore, costa can't play that role they are wingers and cav yeah his played in that position a few times but he does so much more as a winger and the same goes for if jota does front 3 is our plan b.

wolvessteve

30 Jan 2019 17:52:44
Since the tammy abraham deal fell through I honestly don't think we have really looked at another striker like we did with him and I don't think we will sign any new players tomorrow we will confirm jonny but that's it so here is to hoping that jimenez doesn't get injured.

wolvessteve

1.) 30 Jan 2019 19:58:38
I think we will sign a couple of players on loan with option to buy.

27 Oct 2018 17:18:52
We have no chance the next 2 games if we can't win or even score against watford and brighton than we have no chance against tottenham and arsenal like I hope i'm wrong and we get a couple surprise results but really dreading it and where we could be going into the huddersfield game.

wolvessteve

1.) 27 Oct 2018 17:30:28
Just left Amex, we flatter to deceive, no end product. It's not unlucky as it's happening time and again. Over to u Nuno?

2.) 27 Oct 2018 17:40:49
Disappointing today. I proven striker would have seen us convert one of the many chances we had and the result could have been very different. We've now got 2 games we're expected to lose so we'll go into them and play our natural game. To be honest, before the season began, I'd have settled for a mid table finish and look to build for next season. Let's not give up on the team just yet. There's a lot of games to play and we'll pick up the points needed.

3.) 27 Oct 2018 17:45:28
Disappointing result today. Don't think we played badly but the way Brighton allowed Neves and Moutinho to play was a surprise after Watford sussed us out last week and we should have taken advantage of it. Fluky goal but we simply don't score enough do we?

4.) 28 Oct 2018 13:49:21
No chance in next 2 games, wtf are you on about we have already held both Manc clubs outplayed Leicester and lost slaughtered Burnley 1-0 and dominated Brighton yesterday, yes we are struggling to find the back of the net at the moment but to say we have no chance is utter B******S. In Nuno we trust. COYW.

30 Aug 2018 11:31:29
All these neves talks and fans from man utd and man city talking like they have already signed him and thinking its going to be easy to sign him for us has me laughing.

Its like
1.we don't need the money.
2.neves signed a new 5 year contract.
3.his happy at wolves.
4.doesnt matter if mendes gets on with someone from one of those clubs mendes doesn't have final say on when a player is sold wolves do.

So its all in the clubs hands and I can only see him being sold is if neves says he wants to leave but even than a clubs will have to pay 60-70 million which could end up being more if he has an amazing few months but really hoping since his happy he might give us at least another season or 2 after this as long as we can stay in the prem.

wolvessteve

1.) 30 Aug 2018 12:41:31
If a club like City want him there's not much we can do to stop them he probably has a release clause and we would be daft to turn down £60m or whatever Fosun think is good value

Leicester held on to Mahrez for a season before City got their man but they had to let Kante go so maybe he will still be with us at least till next summer

Who would Neves replace at City anyway? Fernandinho? Silva? Surely not De Bruyne? He is guaranteed a game at Wolves.

2.) 30 Aug 2018 12:56:44
He's allegedly earmarked to replace Fernandinho. Only deal I'd consider is a swap with Gundogan and money on top.

3.) 30 Aug 2018 13:01:32
Mendes may have a good relationship with the Man City bloke, Mourinho etc but he also has an excellent relationship with Fosun Group. Wolves are building something special and the other big clubs need to remember that we are not reliant on selling our better players to survive.

4.) 30 Aug 2018 13:13:58
I think he will give us this season and see were we end up he knows wolves give him the opportunity to play football and also learn from a good manager I'd love to see him stay for years to come bit I'd be happy if he went for 65 million as every player has a price and fosun ain't stupid if he wos to go they will have players earmarked to bring in wolves now shrewd in business affairs and we all new what a talent ruben wos before he got here he just didn't get the chance back home and we all knew if he showed the world what he could do he would have clubs all over him but we will triple what we paid so win win.

5.) 30 Aug 2018 13:33:57
He's only twenty one I'm sure he could give us another couple of years, by then he'd probably be courted by Real or Barca. A better proposition for him altogether.

6.) 30 Aug 2018 13:51:27
He eventually wants to go back to Porto.
I think he will stay until he hears his daughter start talking with a Wolverhampton accent. Then he will leave.

7.) 30 Aug 2018 13:52:48
I'd put a 200 million price tag on him and see who comes calling.

8.) 30 Aug 2018 17:29:29
Yes Bulltrain selling him for 65m is good business and we can go back to the well of the Portugal first division for another like him and have change to upgrade defence

Mendes won't let Fosun down too important client for him.

9.) 30 Aug 2018 19:17:59
Rubens going nowhere, he’s a wolves player on a lengthy contract, and we don’t need to sell
Okay all players have their price and he’s currently in the 80 to 100 million bracket based on recent transactions, but this is a “project” and part of nunos plans.

10.) 31 Aug 2018 10:15:17
I hope you are right Charlie but look at Arsenal always selling their best players like Sanchez Giroud Oxlade Chamberlain because the biggest clubs have the money then they sign replacements from France.

29 Aug 2018 17:12:11
So someone comes out saying that man city are interested in neves but fear that man utd could hijack the deal like its 100% happening what a joke some people are first off jeff shi makes decisions on transfers not mendes and neves signed a new 5 year deal is happy to stay at wolves and by the end of the season will still be a wolves player next season will be a tough call though but when that time does come and he does leave don't know when that day will be one this is certain teams better be ready to pay big big money.

wolvessteve

1.) 29 Aug 2018 19:25:32
Man u need to be careful we don’t lure rashford or someone else if and it’s a big if neves moves on well we got to be looking at 60 million plus.

2.) 30 Aug 2018 11:47:46
Seems to me that the boot has been on the other foot recently. There were persistent rumours of our interest in players at Man U and Man City this summer!

If and when a bid comes in for Neves, knock it back, his value can only go up sharply.

Pretty sure we have first option to sign him so don't really get why people are that worried he has already said multiple times how happy he is he will still be a wolves player next season.

Truth is without actual backup can we really afford to drop jimenez and if we do the only thing we can do is go front 3 with jota as the striker cause cav, costa, traore can't play the striker role.

Need to start wrapping jimenez and jota in bubble wrap we cannot afford for one or both of them to get injured.

Pretty sure we won't sign anyone else and my ioly worry is if jimenez got injured we don't have anyone confident enough to play that role like he does cav I think prefers running down the wing using pace and trickery and getting balls in the box and costa and traore can only play on the wing.

Overall a draw was the best result for us some negatives but also some positives pretty sure it was first game nerves and hopefully next game we will be more confident.
