Sunderland are leading the race to sign Wolves winger Ben Marshall.
Marshall, a signing from last January when Paul Lambert was manager, has fallen out of favour under Nuno Espirito Santo at Molineux and hasn't played at all since the beginning of November.

Couldn't he be cover for Doherty?

2.) 24 Jan 2018 13:09:27
No he's a donkey I'd rather Iorfa.

3.) 24 Jan 2018 13:32:21
Also Phil Ofesh-Ayeh still hasn’t made his debut!

4.) 24 Jan 2018 13:36:37
Graham is cover for bM.

5.) 24 Jan 2018 13:37:03
I mean MD.

6.) 24 Jan 2018 13:37:42
I wouldn't mind seeing Iorfa come back from loan. As much as I respect Mick for his time at Wolves, I think Iorfa will lean more from Nuno and there is talent there, even though he had a shocker last season.

7.) 24 Jan 2018 15:57:37
I agree that Iorfa should be given a chance.

8.) 24 Jan 2018 16:27:29
Ruddy has kept the most clean sheets in Europe 15.

9.) 24 Jan 2018 17:37:42
There is more behind the scenes than us fans know.
But I know Iorfa, graham and dicko were good mates outside of football.
Nuno saw them as having a cliche and attitude with it.
That is why all 3 were moved out in the summer.
It’s funny but Wolves have come a long way in a short space of time. Have faith with Nuno and Fosun!
On the other hand we have issues we have to get round.
One is World Cup in 6 months so no international players are going to come when so many teams are desperate in prem.
second we will have to pay for any striker we want from a prem team they won’t be loans as each club will meet to abide by financial fair play and invest in quality possibly if you are Bournemouth for example with grabban and Afobe.
Thirdly is we can’t buy or bring in players that are going to bring an attitude or wreck the pack spirit.

10.) 24 Jan 2018 20:53:43
I always saw Graham out and about with Matt Doherty and Benik Afobe.

11.) 24 Jan 2018 23:26:47
Have to say think I'd sooner see Iorfa back rather than signing just any old right back. Mostly because if we sign another RB then that's about it for Iorfa, was only a season or so ago that he was picked out to train with the England first team! there's definitely potential there its just weather Nuno can unlock it, if anyone can its him COYW ;)

12.) 25 Jan 2018 07:18:26
You right Iorfa has a lot of potential but where do you see him playing at the minute?
I reckon he’s not disciplined defensively enough to play rwb. So I would say with his pace he should be looking at Bennett’s spot. Just because I think Bennett will struggle against pace in the prem. he might not though and do a craddock with how he reads the game. Plus the question is still over Iorfa defensively in that position. But it would be good to see Iorfa, hause and boly at the back just out of interest pace, power and now prem distribution from boly and hause. It’s important to remember though bullysboy that been selected for England youth isn’t a defining point of career. The defining points are when you win silverware. And then whether you want more. :)

13.) 25 Jan 2018 10:13:38
Fair one anew, would definitely be interesting to see him on the right of a back three as he was originally a CB in the youth team. I would debate that with a bit of Nuno training he could have another crack at RB, in the first 18 months that he broke through he used to fly up and down that wing! Its is a funny one with him cause he was absolutely flying then got tied to West Ham at the back end of the window two seasons back and has NEVER been the same since! I do wonder as he was originally a Southend boy if he's got the call of London in his ear and its affected him since?
Also Anew you are of course right about the validity of England selection but I wasn't mentioning it to say as validation. More I suppose to say that out of a VERY talented England u21 squad (at that time) he was the one selected for the honour of first team training! I suppose what I meant was that's a lot of decent coaches that seem to have tipped his potential. Now (like you say) without proper application that means nothing but the lads still young so who knows. COYW.

20 Jan 2018 14:05:33
Wolves have taken an interest on the 22-year-old Ben El-Mhanni.

Debbie McGee

1.) 20 Jan 2018 15:46:32
What’s going on 2-0 down. 👍.

2.) 20 Jan 2018 15:55:12
Wolves no shots on target forest 2 on target tells it's own story.

3.) 20 Jan 2018 16:03:02
This is when we need to sign players! Such as Silva and Telles just to add some more quality.

4.) 20 Jan 2018 16:09:49
Ain't over it.

5.) 20 Jan 2018 16:24:27
We need to take an interest in a quality striker and left back and creative scoring midfielder to get us over the line? ⚽️😉👍 Come on the Wolves.

6.) 20 Jan 2018 17:03:21
Agreed 1 shot on target in 94 minutes disgusting stat.

7.) 20 Jan 2018 17:30:41
We do need some reinforcements a couple that will bring extra goals and extra creativity. We’ve been caught out now. One shot on target in two league games is pitiful and in all honesty appalling in comparison to the standard we have set so far this season. Maybe we need a few brought in just to freshen things up. Leo and Barry have been anonymous in the past few games.

Maybe give Vinagre a chance but, we do need a proven striker. Taking nothing away from Mir but, it a little too risky to lay all hopes on him based on what i’ve seen so far.
Hopefully we’re just having a small run of bad results and we’ll bounce back pretty quick. In Nuno we trust and we’re still top but, we have been poor for a few games now.
Come on you wolves 🐺🐺🐺🐺.

8.) 20 Jan 2018 17:48:11
E&S saying an off day but that's 4 off days in a row we are looking tired teams know how to break us I hope Nuno has a plan B.

9.) 20 Jan 2018 18:03:45
Reality dawns. Overrated coach and tippy-tappy continental poseurs. Lucky to be in play-offs. Need to buy top quality - not fringe players from Portugal and Spain. Promotion unlikely this season. Sheff Utd. and Cardiff better.

10.) 20 Jan 2018 18:15:05
Thats ruined my weekend, anybody who thinks we'll walk this leauge think again.
Unless we sign 2 quality strikers (yes 2), & competition at rwb. for Doherty we're going to struggle.
Teams have worked us out and Nuno needs a plan B.
Hope this is the kick up the backside we need, big decisions need to be made before the end of January, really don't think we were going to buy anyone, but after today and the prior 4 games itd plainly obvious this team needs help.
Sorry to say I wouldn't buy Bonnitini, looks a shadow of the player he was at the beggining of the season.
Come on Jeff release the purse strings, because if we don't react after todays performance I really will worry.
Someone tell Fosun we've blew it before, can't happen again.
I'm know pant wetter, but that was absolutely shocking today.

Fosun S. O. S. 🙏.

11.) 20 Jan 2018 18:50:43
Come on everybody stop the moaning it's one league defeat sines October 62pts at this stage of season is more than we could have hoped for all the teams below us have had blips recently and now it's our turn we've got to have a bad run some time.

12.) 20 Jan 2018 23:03:18
Agree. but two more blips and were back in the pack. I still think well win league. nuno and mendes got something planned.

15 Jan 2018 21:50:15
Wolves have contacted Porto over a deal for Alex Telles. (Source - O Jogo)

1.) 16 Jan 2018 08:18:29
He plays on the left side? Harsh on Douglas I feel.

2.) 16 Jan 2018 10:54:01
I dont. I think we shouldn't settle for 2nd best. If there's a player who is better than douglas then sign him. The exact same with Doherty or anyone else. We made that mistake in the past. We always used to sign someone who isn't as good as our player for a back up.

3.) 16 Jan 2018 11:39:34
Nuno stated we will only go for someone who is better than what we already have.

4.) 16 Jan 2018 12:34:09
You forget he is probably two footed as has been the case with the other players we have attracted. So he could play down the left or right. He would be a solid addition and raise the training and development of the players in the system as it would be a system he is used to. Vinagre would benefit enormously from having him in and a round the squad. Just as some one to watch in a defensive as well as a attacking perspective. Watch this space!

5.) 16 Jan 2018 18:09:41
It's rubbish, the rumour was started on Twitter then picked up by Ojogo then the sun.

6.) 16 Jan 2018 19:58:17
We need a striker.

7.) 16 Jan 2018 20:27:34
Fair play Wolf. Who would you sign then that fits our system and is willing to work the same as our current first team or add something different?

I’d imagine who ever you come up with won’t even be on Nuno’s list due to; attitude, discipline, work rate and quality.

Have faith!

8.) 16 Jan 2018 22:15:38
I'm confused. didn't we just buy a new striker. you know that one that Madrid wanted! Calm peeps, I'm pretty sure Mir didn't leave Valencia to play in the u23! Maybe let's see what he can offer before we all clamber to sign another COYW ;)

9.) 17 Jan 2018 07:56:54
Also Bontatini may be having a goal drought but all goals droughts come to an end, sooner or later.

10.) 17 Jan 2018 11:36:07
During conversation amongst fans here, a rumour appeared that Wolves have enquired about Danny Welbeck which is linked to possible sale of Aubameyang to Arsenal from Dortmund.

Nothing official but would involve many moving pieces. Anyone heard anything there?

11.) 17 Jan 2018 15:01:36
West- Danny Welbeck?! People need to get there heads on here. Sturridge, Welbeck! Why on earth would these top end Prem players who have never played for anything but Champs League aspiring teams suddenly drop down to the Champ in the same year as a World Cup?! Seriously guys I know we're flying high but one or two need a reality check on here! COYW.

12.) 17 Jan 2018 16:21:29
Bb I guess the question offended you? The comment comes from someone of reliable integrity usually but without thought for World Cup maybe. It was mentioned as rumour.

Wolves aye we ✌️.

13.) 17 Jan 2018 17:18:55
The challenge is that which ever three Nuno plays they all offer something different and you will alway so get the odd game which isn’t your day. From that something different you need something more clinical or penetrating. Who fits that bill?

I think we are talking world class and this window isn’t for that sort of signing.

Top forward signings would be: André silva (loan), oliveira (proven and similar to Leo), Afobe (overall better player than grabban, better hold up play than bright, proven scorer in championship, sell on value)

Wouldn’t mind a look at that inter kid in and around the first team of we had option to purchase.

14.) 17 Jan 2018 17:58:46
Inter are looking at Sturbridge on loan so may mean they will let the youngster go on loan. Personally I'm excited to see what Rafa Mir can do in 90 minutes. At 9.45pm this evening we may be lauding Mr Mir.

15.) 17 Jan 2018 19:19:07
West- Not offended at all fella, just pointing out that if peeps are going to randomly make stuff up then at least try and make it credible eh?! I mean if I posted that I'd heard from my nans tea lady who works at the ground that we were going to sign Ronaldo on loan because he's Mendes client. well I'd expect peeps to call BS on me! So not offended at all but equally you shouldn't get offended when peeps point out the rumours clearly nonsense. Fair? ;)

16.) 17 Jan 2018 19:23:54
Anew- for me if we are to sign another SC (and think that may depend on how tonight goes) but I would want the Inter lad myself. Loan seems like the best option right now, as would it be better to see what we can get once we are up (I'm still hoping Aboubakar may come then;) .
I just don't see the point in paying good money for Grabban or Afobe when both have shown they can't score in the Prem, think at this stage any permanent signings need to have Prem potiential else you can end up with another bomb squad! Also the lad from Inter is supposed to be class, unfortunately that has also seen Juve tied with him so who knows COYW.

11 Jan 2018 06:33:34
Taken from E&S
"Wolves plan to make Willy Boly's loan deal from Porto a permanent one should they win promotion this season. Wolves have an exclusive option to buy Boly and should promotion be secured the Frenchman has been identified as a key part of Nuno's plans.
Reports in Portugal had suggested Boly wasn't settled in England but it's understood he is keen to join permanently if Wolves go up.
Of Wolves' other loanees, star forward Diogo Jota remains the most likely to be snapped up this month. ".

1.) 11 Jan 2018 08:25:31
If true then great news
Boly is a brilliant defender who can who looks so comfortable on ball
Jota like neves will become great great players they ooze class about them 🐺.

2.) 11 Jan 2018 11:30:34
What are anyones thoughts on javier hernandez. west ham letting him go?

05 Jan 2018 02:14:50
Wolves and Swansea interested in Chievo midfielder Samuel Bastien. Loan most likely with option to buy.

Best of luck to him - I'd doubt we're in for a 30-year-old striker, esp. from Brentford.
