I've heard Wolves have made an enquiry for Chelsea midfielder Marco van Ginkel.

Debbie McGee

1.) 03 May 2018 06:58:21
The one with 11 minutes Premiership experience? I like it, not a lot!

{Ed001's Note - he spent a season on loan with Stoke and defo played more than 11 minutes there as I saw him play for more than that with my own eyes.}

2.) 03 May 2018 10:02:28
He's on loan at PSV where he seems to have done well in a pretty good team.

3.) 04 May 2018 15:02:28
Rip Van Winkel has played more football this year.

{Ed001's Note - than the 32 appearances van Ginkel has made, scoring 16 goals in the process, you mean? He has had an excellent season for a midfielder to be fair, though it is only in the Eredivisie.}

4.) 04 May 2018 17:04:49
If we get him, which I believe we should, it will be another example of why Chelsea is a crap club when it comes to promoting youth!

5.) 04 May 2018 19:44:05
Dutch football is not what it used to be. Long list of so called prospects from top Dutch sides who have failed to make the mark over last few years. Days of van Persia and Bergkamp are long gone. Van wolfswinkel and Davy Klassen and player who chose Brighton over ourselves are the best they have to offer these days.

According to the Mirror, Spurs are after a trio of Portuguese players, Ruben Neves being one.

Can't help but feel Neves is going to be linked to a lot of other clubs this summer.

1.) 26 Apr 2018 08:33:49
Transfer window shuts at 5pm on 9th August. Hopefully he'll travel with Portugal to the World Cup then be given time off afterwards so he won't have time to talk to other clubs.

2.) 26 Apr 2018 09:02:39
I also think that the press feel that as we're a newly promoted club, we're not in a position to turn down big money offers for our better players. Just remember that we have Fosun behind us and if anything Spurs should be more worried about us poaching the likes of Kane, Alli and Eriksen from them.

3.) 26 Apr 2018 10:01:34
Don’t sell to your rivals. do ya!

4.) 26 Apr 2018 11:09:30
Fears that BOLY is not going to sign

Hes been staying in the novahotel since arrival.

He rented that rolls royce!
And looks nowhere near making the move to wolverhampton due to MRS WILLIE hating the weather and not settling.

But in contrast to that if you listen to his compton park interveiw he states he's here to stay.

Fingers firmily crossed but i fear the defenders we may be looking for
Will replace boly.

6.) 26 Apr 2018 11:59:32
saying afobe as allready signed . saying if we went up it was in contract?

7.) 26 Apr 2018 13:27:58
If you are right Dappa then that's good Business for both teams but I still think we will sign a striker as first choice CF so he might not get as much game time as he is used to we might even prefer a Costa Cav Jota front line because our last CF signing has been invisible.

8.) 26 Apr 2018 15:45:21
Why wouldn't he rent until his deal is made more permanent?

9.) 26 Apr 2018 16:51:58
seen a couple of things on wolvesnewsnow that its done. but we have to wait till june the 7th is it when it reopend. yes 100% I see 2 stikers comin in tbf . bright ect will be loaned out.

10.) 26 Apr 2018 19:29:25
still loads of rumours one things for sure we won't be signing any rubbish don't think nuno will allow any duds in thew will have to play for the shirt alls good at the golden palace onwards and upwards COYW!

11.) 26 Apr 2018 19:42:45
Unfortunately Jas Neves wouldn't need time to talk to anyone, all that is done for them and pretty much decided for them.
It seems Neves wants to stay with us which is a good start so let's hope all these rumours fizzle out and wolves confirm he's not for sale.

12.) 27 Apr 2018 14:33:39
According to transfermarkt Afobe is a Wolves player from 1st July 2018, fee unknown.

25 Apr 2018 06:03:42
Apparently we are after DMF Pele from Rio Ave. and Eliaquim Mangala of Man. City.

Surely if we're looking at signing a defender that means one is on the way out, given Hause recently signed a new contract I'm guessing Baath?

Debbie McGee

1.) 25 Apr 2018 07:36:21
I think batth will be gone in the summer, with Hause to go out on loan. Hopefully to a championship or premier league club!

2.) 25 Apr 2018 09:58:25
Miranda can go.
Danny deserves full time football and he would need to move on to get it (heard Leeds are interested) .
Keep Hause as cover for Boly (who may not want to stay due to Mrs Boly) .
Not sure about Bennett in the Prem so high quality right sided CB required with Bennett as his cover.

3.) 25 Apr 2018 21:48:38
Boly is 100% staying a few weeks ago he bought a Rolls Royce picture was floating over social media. Why would a loan player buy such an expensive car if he's going home in a month?

4.) 25 Apr 2018 22:08:29
I think Miranda and batth will go won’t b good enough.

5.) 25 Apr 2018 22:29:31
I think the rumours so far show the standard we have on our radar. Looking at 6 quality additions and add competition to the current first team. And a few others to add to competitive edge of squad for all competitions.

6.) 25 Apr 2018 22:38:04
Signing a new contract just means you can sell them for more money because they are already contracted for a few years.

23 Jan 2018 18:56:31
Sunderland are leading the race to sign Wolves winger Ben Marshall.
Marshall, a signing from last January when Paul Lambert was manager, has fallen out of favour under Nuno Espirito Santo at Molineux and hasn't played at all since the beginning of November.

Debbie McGee

1.) 24 Jan 2018 11:01:41
Couldn't he be cover for Doherty?

2.) 24 Jan 2018 13:09:27
No he's a donkey I'd rather Iorfa.

3.) 24 Jan 2018 13:32:21
Also Phil Ofesh-Ayeh still hasn’t made his debut!

4.) 24 Jan 2018 13:36:37
Graham is cover for bM.

5.) 24 Jan 2018 13:37:03
I mean MD.

6.) 24 Jan 2018 13:37:42
I wouldn't mind seeing Iorfa come back from loan. As much as I respect Mick for his time at Wolves, I think Iorfa will lean more from Nuno and there is talent there, even though he had a shocker last season.

7.) 24 Jan 2018 15:57:37
I agree that Iorfa should be given a chance.

8.) 24 Jan 2018 16:27:29
Ruddy has kept the most clean sheets in Europe 15.

9.) 24 Jan 2018 17:37:42
There is more behind the scenes than us fans know.
But I know Iorfa, graham and dicko were good mates outside of football.
Nuno saw them as having a cliche and attitude with it.
That is why all 3 were moved out in the summer.
It’s funny but Wolves have come a long way in a short space of time. Have faith with Nuno and Fosun!
On the other hand we have issues we have to get round.
One is World Cup in 6 months so no international players are going to come when so many teams are desperate in prem.
second we will have to pay for any striker we want from a prem team they won’t be loans as each club will meet to abide by financial fair play and invest in quality possibly if you are Bournemouth for example with grabban and Afobe.
Thirdly is we can’t buy or bring in players that are going to bring an attitude or wreck the pack spirit.

10.) 24 Jan 2018 20:53:43
I always saw Graham out and about with Matt Doherty and Benik Afobe.

11.) 24 Jan 2018 23:26:47
Have to say think I'd sooner see Iorfa back rather than signing just any old right back. Mostly because if we sign another RB then that's about it for Iorfa, was only a season or so ago that he was picked out to train with the England first team! there's definitely potential there its just weather Nuno can unlock it, if anyone can its him COYW ;)

12.) 25 Jan 2018 07:18:26
You right Iorfa has a lot of potential but where do you see him playing at the minute?
I reckon he’s not disciplined defensively enough to play rwb. So I would say with his pace he should be looking at Bennett’s spot. Just because I think Bennett will struggle against pace in the prem. he might not though and do a craddock with how he reads the game. Plus the question is still over Iorfa defensively in that position. But it would be good to see Iorfa, hause and boly at the back just out of interest pace, power and now prem distribution from boly and hause. It’s important to remember though bullysboy that been selected for England youth isn’t a defining point of career. The defining points are when you win silverware. And then whether you want more. :)

13.) 25 Jan 2018 10:13:38
Fair one anew, would definitely be interesting to see him on the right of a back three as he was originally a CB in the youth team. I would debate that with a bit of Nuno training he could have another crack at RB, in the first 18 months that he broke through he used to fly up and down that wing! Its is a funny one with him cause he was absolutely flying then got tied to West Ham at the back end of the window two seasons back and has NEVER been the same since! I do wonder as he was originally a Southend boy if he's got the call of London in his ear and its affected him since?
Also Anew you are of course right about the validity of England selection but I wasn't mentioning it to say as validation. More I suppose to say that out of a VERY talented England u21 squad (at that time) he was the one selected for the honour of first team training! I suppose what I meant was that's a lot of decent coaches that seem to have tipped his potential. Now (like you say) without proper application that means nothing but the lads still young so who knows. COYW.

20 Jan 2018 14:05:33
Wolves have taken an interest on the 22-year-old Ben El-Mhanni.

Debbie McGee

1.) 20 Jan 2018 15:46:32
What’s going on 2-0 down. 👍.

2.) 20 Jan 2018 15:55:12
Wolves no shots on target forest 2 on target tells it's own story.

3.) 20 Jan 2018 16:03:02
This is when we need to sign players! Such as Silva and Telles just to add some more quality.

4.) 20 Jan 2018 16:09:49
Ain't over it.

5.) 20 Jan 2018 16:24:27
We need to take an interest in a quality striker and left back and creative scoring midfielder to get us over the line? ⚽️😉👍 Come on the Wolves.

6.) 20 Jan 2018 17:03:21
Agreed 1 shot on target in 94 minutes disgusting stat.

7.) 20 Jan 2018 17:30:41
We do need some reinforcements a couple that will bring extra goals and extra creativity. We’ve been caught out now. One shot on target in two league games is pitiful and in all honesty appalling in comparison to the standard we have set so far this season. Maybe we need a few brought in just to freshen things up. Leo and Barry have been anonymous in the past few games.

Maybe give Vinagre a chance but, we do need a proven striker. Taking nothing away from Mir but, it a little too risky to lay all hopes on him based on what i’ve seen so far.
Hopefully we’re just having a small run of bad results and we’ll bounce back pretty quick. In Nuno we trust and we’re still top but, we have been poor for a few games now.
Come on you wolves 🐺🐺🐺🐺.

8.) 20 Jan 2018 17:48:11
E&S saying an off day but that's 4 off days in a row we are looking tired teams know how to break us I hope Nuno has a plan B.

9.) 20 Jan 2018 18:03:45
Reality dawns. Overrated coach and tippy-tappy continental poseurs. Lucky to be in play-offs. Need to buy top quality - not fringe players from Portugal and Spain. Promotion unlikely this season. Sheff Utd. and Cardiff better.

10.) 20 Jan 2018 18:15:05
Thats ruined my weekend, anybody who thinks we'll walk this leauge think again.
Unless we sign 2 quality strikers (yes 2), & competition at rwb. for Doherty we're going to struggle.
Teams have worked us out and Nuno needs a plan B.
Hope this is the kick up the backside we need, big decisions need to be made before the end of January, really don't think we were going to buy anyone, but after today and the prior 4 games itd plainly obvious this team needs help.
Sorry to say I wouldn't buy Bonnitini, looks a shadow of the player he was at the beggining of the season.
Come on Jeff release the purse strings, because if we don't react after todays performance I really will worry.
Someone tell Fosun we've blew it before, can't happen again.
I'm know pant wetter, but that was absolutely shocking today.

Fosun S. O. S. 🙏.

11.) 20 Jan 2018 18:50:43
Come on everybody stop the moaning it's one league defeat sines October 62pts at this stage of season is more than we could have hoped for all the teams below us have had blips recently and now it's our turn we've got to have a bad run some time.

12.) 20 Jan 2018 23:03:18
Agree. but two more blips and were back in the pack. I still think well win league. nuno and mendes got something planned.

He was sent back to Bayern Munich a couple of months ago.

Debbie McGee

{Ed001's Note - he was injured and went back there for treatment, he has now returned to Swans for the run-in if they choose to use him. I am not sure they will want to put an overweight, can-only-pass-to-advertising hoardings, loanee in when they need the points though.}
