Anyone wondering why Thelwell hasn't been sacked, it is because the club are using him as a front. According to uefa rules, agents cannot work for a club on recruitment. Thelwell will oversee youth development and reserve team matters.

ERmm yh that's why we've just signed Ryan Bennett, about to sign Phil (lad from Germany) still interested in josh scowan (who would be decent signing) and others tells me that thelwell is just going young and reserved matters.

Let's hope Nuno is third time lucky for all of us! 👍 I wish him and his staff all the very best and advise him strongly to add quality to the team, along with at least a couple of proven quality strikers. as ours are clueless and have no composure in front of goal! ⚽️👍😉.

Reports of us sniffig around Krovinovic of Rio Ave. Attacking mid who supposedly had an amazing season.
Benfica also looking at him so there's a possibility they may sign him and loan him to us for a season.

Fosun are in the process of investing €10M in to Rio for "ground improvements" this maybe a way of working around FFP if we can get him for a smaller fee to help balance the books.

It doesn't say mendes has no control. It's says he is involved but doesn't have the final say or complete control. Basically he has convinced fosun that we can have his best players available to improve us and use us to show off the player, in England, in order to sell for a profit.

After a 6-match winning run, Lambert had a very disappointing April. If we had finished on a high he would probably be in the job now. Lambert invented his own alibi, demanding complete authority over transfers, which was a no-no as he knew it would be.

Here's the full news conference, 22 minutes long but well worth it. I'm happier now, they state "that PL was not up to the mark they required, feck all to do with him arguing with Mendes".
