Transfer window.

When did they introduce this daft idea?
I ask because it fits no kind of logic.
All transfers, except emergency loans should be completed before the season starts. I have a theory that the real reason behind it is to give the media something to sell. Pundit parasite syndrome, where the aging stars get paid to talk about more stuff they claim to be "inside information". What a time to be a football supporter.

Misterwolf the premier League tried stopping transfers before the league started but every other league carried on so put the PL at a
disadvantage so were back to the way it was before.

The Saudi league transfer window closes 20th September.

Wouldn't think it could be an issue for us but the top teams and players could be moved on after our window is shut on the 1st Sept.
This seems unsettling and not right.

Very sad to hear of the passing of Cedric Roussel who played for Wolves 2002/3. A striker played 25 times and scored a couple of goals. I remember seeing him a few times and he was a a steady, solid striker who held the ball up to bring other players in.RIP Cedric.

Nice big banner filling half the upper tier seats at Mol "Julien is a Wolf". Sometimes actions and deeds say more than knoblets outside the club with their biased opinions.

Pretty sure it started after an interview with a Spanish journalist, pounced upon and twisted out of all proportion by a certain ex villa 'pundit' on talks****e radio, then 'football insider' from which the mirror, star, Birmingham live and then daily fail all recycled it with the star calling wolves 'crisis' club. Parasites making pots of dish out of peddling lies. Odd but when females sell themselves for money it has a special word for it.

Exactly Abbeywolf, the interview from 25th July being recycled by a gobby mischief maker. It is almost as if we are constantly being targeted to undermine things.

That seems to be down to the ex villa 'pundit' who hates wolves and it's been round the tabloids after him spewing his drivel to something called insider, the press is garbage and him too.

Looking at the highlight clips on YouTube, all three, Doyle, Enzo and Santiago Bueno look decent players, once they are all embedded we may be on the verge of a new style of filth at the Mol. It's getting exciting now, who is that bloke we are selling to Citeh again?

If he comes back to Mol in sky blue I bet he gets a very uncomfortable reception

Absolutely no. We have sold enough of our best players. Just because Man City need a player it's almost like master and servant in football with half a dozen teams picking off the cream. Be glad when this stupid window closes. In fact, I am getting sick of the whole football thing so I am off for a while. Thanks for having me on the site but I really am fed up.

Vbwolf spot on again. Let's just breathe and take a look at the past, though the team may not have learned from playing Brighton last year. No one has ever been relegated after two games. Been a fan 52 years and even at our lowest ebb in the 80s we never got relegated after two games. Only major financial shenanigans lead to points deduction and it's unlikely Fosun are on that path. They aren't cowboys like previous owners may have been. So, two games in and a coach who has been in post less than a fortnight. Things change, today we moved off the bottom of the division without playing, things change. I sometimes think some of our supporters compares us with Man City and others who on their own, turn over hundreds of millions and win every game, even they get beaten occasionally. I don't think the team can be blamed if the system allows for no level playing field financially. However, we are not in that elite group so like most folks working to a budget you cut your cloth accordingly. That's life. Even yesterday there were some positives, against Manure there were positives, if after ten games we have not improved results wise then that's the time to look for a different approach.

You are spot on vbwolf. 10 games is usually the best marker. In addition we were undone by that 10 minute spell and their clinical finishing. I guess at least we did score one, the players should take something from that. One thing I do like about GON is his attitude of "no excuses" and I haven't heard any bs from him. He has been honest and his review of the game reflected this. No point dwelling on the result, just analyse the game, improve what went wrong. Brighton are an exceptional team and been built by two great coaches over 4/5 years of consistent improvement and good recruitment. There are lessons to learn from that club from top to bottom. We will get better under Gary.
