Claudio Ranieri has been approached to replace PL.

Banbury wolf

1.) 11 May 2017 14:59:32
Think we should drop mr Mendez a polite email 😉.

2.) 11 May 2017 15:33:06
You are having a laugh Banbury! Like your sense of humour. You must have heard a couple of comedians chatting to each other.! 😉.

3.) 11 May 2017 15:42:49
Oh dear. is this summer 2016 re-visited?!
I really thought Lambert and Shi were on the same page. not sounding good.
Still, one positive, Thelwell is also rumoured to be for the chop.

4.) 11 May 2017 15:52:06
Has anyone got a list of Mendes players that he's bought in at wolves
Costa
Cav
Silvio
Teixeira
Ola John

Anyone know if he was involved with Saiss, Prince, Gladon or any others?

5.) 11 May 2017 17:00:37
If what I'm hearing about PLs relacement if he goes is true, we are not going anywhere fast! This Jose C has No experience of the English league, had 11 jobs in 13 years and we as fans are stuffed! Here was me thing Fosun we're starting to realise that what had done before was a massive mistake and what are they doing, the same all over again? We need a quality manager who has experience of our leagues. If PL goes and they appoint this numskull. We are going backwards again. If they got to change manager quality, tried and tested with a track record! Some common sense from our reverred leaders otherwise I can't see their agenda!

Former Olympiakos manager Marco Silva looking likely to be installed in next week or so.

Banbury wolf

1.) 29 Jul 2016 10:30:36
Hope so, need management change ASAP!

2.) 29 Jul 2016 10:46:07
Where you got that from Banbury?

3.) 29 Jul 2016 11:20:25
Don't believe he is YET. If they wanted him in the position they would have sacked KJ and put the assistant in for a couple of weeks. May be he's on the back burner for a month or so to see how KJ does.

4.) 29 Jul 2016 11:26:08
Had a look at this guys stats and he seems a really good shout. He set the league record winning his first 11 games in charge of Olympiakos be beating Arsenal in the champions league. If he did come it is definitely a long term project. Let's hope some of the players we are reading about are just agents talking up their clients.

5.) 29 Jul 2016 11:44:34
Hopefully if Marco Silva is bein lined up Mendes and Big Jeff are talkin to him over transfers, as their definitely not talkin to Thellwell and JACKETT 😂😂😂.

6.) 29 Jul 2016 12:19:27
We get linked to every man and his dog with regards to managers and players and nothing happens. We are like a snail in the transfer market and everything else hence why we missed out on Lopetegui or however you spell it. The fact that the takeover was completed Monday and we have no signings signifies we aren't going to compete for promotion this season. Frustrating.

7.) 29 Jul 2016 12:22:07
Silvio training today pic been leaked, Costa might be the other bloke but he's got his back to the pic.

8.) 29 Jul 2016 12:24:28
Has anyone else seen the pic of Silvio training yesterday?

9.) 29 Jul 2016 12:37:18
Where's the pic?

10.) 29 Jul 2016 12:49:41
can you please stop calling him 'big jeff'? The man's barely 5ft and as thin as a rake.

11.) 29 Jul 2016 13:23:18
There was a pic on Twitter earlier of the pair training.

12.) 29 Jul 2016 13:25:26
Yeah but he is the big man, he's got the cash and calling the shots. Also its ironic because like you say he's actually small, so its funny. I bet he'd like being called big Jeff anyway.

13.) 29 Jul 2016 13:28:29
That's the reason I call him Big Jeff! And he is Big compared to someone 4ft tall. Get over it, i'll call him Big Jeff! It's my pet name for him!

14.) 29 Jul 2016 13:13:33
I have seen a photo on facebook, hard for me to tell who it is.

It's here. Click for larger image

15.) 29 Jul 2016 14:28:14
The tattoos are the players arms on this photo and the other one look identical to ones on players profile etc.

16.) 29 Jul 2016 15:20:10
Looking at the original list, it included I Cavaleiro (12.5m) and someone called Carvalho: I've got a feeling that this was Carvalho Silva, a holding midfielder rated at another £10 million.

I fully expect Big Jeff and Sky Sunny Boy to be finalising these two next week, along with Tulisca when the squad should really be taking shape.

17.) 29 Jul 2016 16:09:37

I am lead to believe that KJ had been relieved of his duties this evening.

Banbury wolf

1.) 20 Jul 2016 22:37:18
I thought he was6 months ago😀.

2.) 20 Jul 2016 22:44:41
Hes bin sacked every other day so far durin the last 2 wiks, .

3.) 20 Jul 2016 22:58:18
If your right Banbury you've got an exclusive as I can't find anything else sayin it.

4.) 20 Jul 2016 23:02:12
Does anyone know if the fat controller is back from states as nothing will get announced till he's back behind his desk that's for defo as he would not allow someone else to take the credit. He loves the limelight to much to pass a opportunity like this so unless he's back I fear we will have to wait a little while longer.

5.) 20 Jul 2016 23:09:32
Baidu in trouble again over online gambling ads
taken from the hong kong standard.

6.) 20 Jul 2016 23:15:25
Banbury what percentage would you give this in the truth stakes?

7.) 20 Jul 2016 23:23:43
Jackett still in place so again everything is bs. Won't be any time soon but it will happen as and when. Aboubakar who the hell thought up that one and whoever wrote out our new formation of players seemed to have added price by mistake. The guy is probably the worst wolves player I've seen since Laurie madden.

8.) 20 Jul 2016 23:27:38
And who now has the whip&chair?

9.) 20 Jul 2016 23:29:37
Can agreed with Banbury. I'm new to this but also heard from a close friend who is friends with wolves head steward that players and kenny have been informed takeover is being completed and will be announced in next coming days. How true this is I don't know, just what I've been told.

10.) 21 Jul 2016 00:09:57
If that is true I hope that most, if not all, wolves fans will thank him for two seasons of very good times and commiserate that he was not allowed the tools to go for it in the third. Change is needed simply because change is needed, and I hope that this includes the divisive influence of jez moxey.
That said, until it's announced, it has not happened.

11.) 21 Jul 2016 00:14:23
Karlis, Baidu in trouble over betting ads? Where does that leave wolves as a club who had sporting bet emblazoned on their players and supporters breasts for some years? Money shop next anyone?

12.) 21 Jul 2016 00:34:11
Banburywolf has heard the same as me. staff were told whilst in Ireland. statement expected tomorrow.

13.) 21 Jul 2016 00:46:37
Whoever thought up aboubakar I like your thinking better than fighting a losing battle for chris wood. Good times ahead.

14.) 21 Jul 2016 02:10:38
Thank jacket what for. playing crap football. and b4 u start the makority of managers would have got us out of leauge 1 and 2.

15.) 21 Jul 2016 06:38:57
What managers? Like in the 80s when we went straight from the First to Fourth Division in consecutive seasons? Kenny has done well for this club (not withstanding the last injury-hit season) and he deserves our sincere thanks!

16.) 21 Jul 2016 08:51:11
Easy to say the majority would have got us out of lg1 now however at the time we were a disgrace and there was a lot of internal stuff that had to be dealt with so don't just dismiss what he did out of ignorance. Promotion maybe but breaking a 100+ year record in the process? Clubs like Man City, Leeds, etc didn't have the success we did and Sheff U still can't. It wasn't a forgone conclusion we'd walk that league.

Time for a change and exciting times ahead but 1 bad season in 3 for a manager of a club that has been a shambles for the last 5/ 6 years deserves more respect.

Here's to the new era though and hoping it al goes as we hope!

17.) 21 Jul 2016 09:32:35
Karl's. What's Baidu's gambling ads to do with us? Bandy is not buying us. They are not buying Milan either, that's been announced in HK.

We all need to get behind the team and the new owners for potentially the most exciting chapter in our entire history. I hope Ulf can see his way to staying on board. He's been talking of supporting the Baggies and other teams in protest and has said he would prefer us in League One to these new owners. WTF. We were dying the death of a thousand cuts and now we are heading for the top. Enjoy the ride.

21 May 2016 16:29:43
Been told club not selling because of the parking land around the ground. Morgan wants to lease it back to club and hold it as potential building land. Buyers won't agree to that.

Banbury wolf

1.) 21 May 2016 16:46:57
Banbury that's lame! Where's Bob laslett?

2.) 21 May 2016 16:57:50
I think he will sell no one knows what is going on just have to wait and see.

3.) 21 May 2016 17:00:00
Been told that's what's holding things up Paul.

4.) 21 May 2016 17:42:32
Therefore Banbury your suggesting or your source's suggesting the sale if it happens hinges on parking land to which Wolves only have a limited amount anyway? Plus one of those areas is a players car park. If we look even deeper into the car park issue and Morgan wanting to build on it in the future does that mean a potential buyer has suggested a ground move as recently reported and Morgan is seeing further pound signs? Either way the guy needs to put up and sell or come back and fund the team correctly and stop fluffing around.

{Ed001's Note - I am sure that there is a block on the land being used for building on anyway.}

5.) 21 May 2016 18:44:14
Spanish there is no way the scouse prat is going to fund anything mate. He's just interested in what's going into his pocket.

6.) 21 May 2016 19:31:58
i can beleve that. trick beetroot face would do.

7.) 21 May 2016 20:20:15
The land outside the north bank, the land outside the south bank the land on the corner where he demolished the office block all potential sites for development, hotels offices etc. The guy would get planning permission they seem to give him anything he wants, must have someone in his pocket.

8.) 21 May 2016 20:42:36
Think that would be a very dodgy thing for Morgan to try and do re his legacy. He's already on a knife edge over whether people believe he only got into Wolves for Redrow opportunities, Radio WM state that almost as a matter of fact every time they mention Morgan. Him trying to keep hold of land so he can keep bleeding Wolves after he's sold on, and so he can build around the ground and limit the clubs physical opportunities would prove that was all he'd been about and he ripped SJH off.

Not that he seems to really care about his legacy or he wouldn't have allowed Moneyshop, but he reckons he cares about it, all his charity rubbish etc.

I got effectively banned (put on pre-mod with 24hr delay) from MolMix for suggesting depends where this ends up, we might want to consider starting a petition against Morgan getting more Honours. :-) May be a good idea though, we don't only seem to have fallen down a hole he dug, he seems to be filling it in on top of us too.

9.) 21 May 2016 21:02:57
Heard this rumour to, but been told today it holds no substance.
Morgan is a major player in construction and his land bank is huge, enough for him to continue to expand Redrow.
Wolves are insignificant and he will sell lock stock and barrell if anyone meets his asking price.
It's simply a case of trying to find a potential investor who is willing to stump up the redmans inflated asking price.
My gut feeling is we are in for a bumpy ride, have never wanted to be so wrong, but the bookies are seldom wrong.
My prediction Xmas 2016
Bottom 3
Manager pays price
Morgan owner
Iorfa docherty playin in the prem
Wolves play in front of sub 15k crowds
Jez becomes part time CEO concentrating on becoming head of fifa and renames ground The Blatter Stadium.

{Ed001's Note - it is a load of rubbish, one of the conditions of sale of the club to him blocked him from using the land for building purposes.}

10.) 22 May 2016 08:37:21
Based on a couple of sources I do believe that Morgan owns significant pockets of land around Mol, but I am trying to remain positive about his intentions. After all how much money does one man need and surely he knows that a football club is a community asset. Maybe he wanted to extend club facilities or create future club revenue. Whatever his plans it looks like it was work in progress and may or may not be complicating the sale. It clearly isn't part of the wolves package but does the situation limit the clubs value and does he want the land after he has washed his hands of wolves.

11.) 22 May 2016 08:44:37
sooner this clown as gone the better.

12.) 22 May 2016 10:40:01
Don't believe a word. No one knows anything about the sale. All this talk about sources close to the club are just fanciful rumour spreading. There are only two people that know anything about the sale and that's Morgan and Moxey.

Just look at the sponsorship deal with moneyshop. No one had a clue until the morning of the announcement.

There are things called confidentiality clauses, just like the one glenn Hughes said he signed. that interested parties will have to sign so anyone on here saying they are in the know is just winding you up.

Just lie back and enjoy the summer because all will be revealed.

13.) 22 May 2016 11:05:40
"because all will be revealed"! lol, is that inside info?

Yep, wait and see, but I'll be surprised if in hindsight Morgan won't end up looking extremely bad for his part in Wolves and in relation to SJH's legacy (that he is damaging as he fails to make good on his own) .

His routes for making this come right and work out well for us, with anything for us to be grateful rather than just hating him for, imo are getting pretty few and far between. Still, there's always a chance.

14.) 23 May 2016 10:53:36
I see some people are back-tracking already! A few weeks ago it was Kenny's getting sacked tomorrow type of thing and so-and-so is buying the club.

This is like those end of the world predictions put about by various religions and individuals. When the date comes and goes without world destruction, they just announce another date.

15.) 23 May 2016 12:29:58
I thought that was why we all came on the Wolves rumours site?

Rumour:- definition.

a story or statement in general circulation without confirmation or certainty as to facts:

If folk are passed snippets of information and quite rightly get excited and want to share it, then surely that's what this site is about.

Tommy Rowe, Liam Mcalinden and Aaron McCarey let go.

Banbury wolf

1.) 09 May 2016 14:54:20
Guess we shouldn't be surprised. Siggy and Zeli staying, then?

2.) 09 May 2016 15:01:54
Where did you see that, by the way? Liam is out of contract I know that much.

3.) 10 May 2016 08:56:31
OK good call Banbury, the story broke a couple of hours after your post. Siggy and Zeli leaving too.

4.) 10 May 2016 15:59:52
Despite what everyone on here keeps saying about Grayken, a lot of my friends think Morgan will pick the reins up again and finish the stadium like was promised years ago. I'd have no qualms about this but he's going to find it impossible to win the hardcore supporters over now, even if he does continue the redevelopment.

How pathetic that our local News paper for all its boasts about being the best evening news paper in the country, lag behind everyone else in reporting the takeover of the club it should be supporting and keeping its fans informed of. Might be a little harsh though thinking about it maybe Eric and Ernies camcorder battery ran down in Ireland and they could get the report out on time.

2.) 20 Jul 2016 14:36:05
And what proof do you have?

3.) 20 Jul 2016 14:36:16
Is your man Laslett involved at all Banbury? Chairman?

4.) 20 Jul 2016 14:43:41
Here's hoping Banbury but can't see it.

5.) 20 Jul 2016 14:56:48
From the horses mouth.

6.) 20 Jul 2016 15:04:40
Two players from benfica linked to Liverpool. man city and wolves for the sum of 50m euros according to Abola deal is done.

7.) 20 Jul 2016 15:27:46
Banbury I'll believe it when I see it written down in black and white, too many supposed in the know posters on here have been saying it's this day, it's that day etc etc, When it is OFFICIALLY ANNOUNCED then and only then will I believe it.

8.) 20 Jul 2016 15:28:24
A press release or press conference Banbury.

9.) 20 Jul 2016 15:30:44

Banbury which horses mouth
THE NAGS HEAD?!

11.) 20 Jul 2016 16:26:29
So basically, you know nothing, and are just spouting out nonsense? I'm not surprised.

12.) 20 Jul 2016 17:13:16
Dont write off what Banbury has said, he said before an Asian consortium led by Laslett? Fingers crossed he's right and its announced tomorrow.

13.) 20 Jul 2016 17:30:24
Dare I say most people have lost faith with certain ITK people we have heard it all before. If you put a date on here repeatedly one of them is going to happen. Hope Banbury is correct but I won't hold my breath for to long.

14.) 20 Jul 2016 17:43:04
Till tomorrow Spanish wolf 👍.

15.) 20 Jul 2016 18:05:08
Seems Funny how the realist and Jim have gone quiet.

16.) 20 Jul 2016 20:27:46
Give Banbury 24 hours.

It's not anything we have'nt done for loads of others on here.
Thursday 21st of July has a lovely ring to it,
new owners,
new players,
new coach,
new boardroom staff,
new bootroom staff.

Now don't that sound just feckin peachy.

Nose to the Window GeeWolf, chin up lads, why not tomorrow, it gives us something to look forwards to.

Banbury wolf

1.) 22 May 2016 10:55:34
I think he gets planning permission on stuff in exchange for doing community / charity projects. And that's fairly normal, eg often housing estates only get approval because builder agrees to do all sorts of other supporting construction, like local community or sports centres, parks etc.

I think that's the real purpose of Morgan's community / charity work., his own benefit. And seeing as he seems to still be all guns blazing for that community work (and WWFC even tried to angle Moneyshop on basis of community projects that will happen because of it) , he's probably still after more planning permission in the area.

2.) 22 May 2016 16:36:16
Spot on ulf and quite brief too! Lol.

3.) 22 May 2016 18:50:43
Consice and to the point Ulf. I may have to eat my words about your usual elongated posts if this carries on!

1.) 05 May 2016 18:14:46
Nice history lesson Banbury wolf but what about now 2016? Wolves new owner/ owners? Who are the Indians with Laslett?

2.) 05 May 2016 19:17:29
I would have thought the two sources that said 'KJ' would only have one game left would know the answer to these questions?

Do they not?

How odd indeed ;)

3.) 05 May 2016 19:33:29
Doh? Told u Chasetown I only post what I believe to be true. JACKETT has one more game! As far as a takeover goes all I know is things r going on whether it's a takeover or investment I don't know for definite so won't speculate. U got anything to add to the discussion Chasetown or u going to bore off! U ought to try going and watchin Wolves now and again then u might have something to add.

4.) 05 May 2016 20:15:06
Paul, he ain't going nowhere, sorry pal.
He will have to answer some questions, but.
I can tell you no players out of contract will be re-signed unless they take a huge pay cut.
Ikeme, Iorfa, McDonald and Price will be sold. circa 10 million not much more leaving a little for re-investment.
This is Bhattiesque was told Morgan would sell at all costs by the end of the season.
It ain't going to happen.
He's lost interest he's recouped 7 million on Afobe,
Will re-coup 7 million in the summer.
He will take the season ticket money.
Then he will watch us squirm before selling us off on his terms to a financial lightweight.

5.) 05 May 2016 22:07:27
Paul, your comment to Chasetown implying that he does not go watch Wolves, is bang out of order. How do we know that you do.

I really thought that you were an adult, now I am not so sure.

Pompous ass!

6.) 05 May 2016 22:50:42
Pure gut feeling Realist but your perception of Morgan's intentions just don't feel right. I am aware that he has bought nearly all the private properties around the Mol so any future owner will have to pay top dollar to expand. But I believe he will keep the club financed as a going concern. To run it into the ground would incur unnecessary commercial damage to his reputation.

7.) 06 May 2016 07:33:48
Thanks the realist that's a lot more info your giving us than two sourses of Paul Tamworth's. We all know they won't sack jacket as they still want him around. Only way jacket will go is if he walks away. Wolves won't be sold just players will be as many are out of contract soon. Wolves won't make same mistake letting them avalible for free. Only thing that will happen on the last game is jacket thanking Paul Tamworth for buying 6 season tickets that will go towards jackets wages this month.

8.) 06 May 2016 09:19:59
Realist that is pure fiction on your part just trying to muddy the waters
Morgan cannot do what you are stating sums too large and that would raise red flags at Companies House and so on
He is not going to damage his business reputation in this manner he will just not do it
Paul T after due consideration I do not believe KJ will go as he is a yes man to Moxey and Moxey is staying.

9.) 06 May 2016 10:15:46
Jack Russell your barkin up the wrong tree! Down boy 🐩.

10.) 06 May 2016 10:18:12
Check the accounts guys. Morgan hasn't taken anything out of Wolves by way or salary or dividends. And he won't. Transfer receipts belong to the company, not to any individual. Ditto season ticket receipt.

11.) 06 May 2016 10:53:19
Paul - good response!

12.) 06 May 2016 11:38:37
It was a friendly banter one )

13.) 06 May 2016 12:15:30
It won't damage his business repute on as long as he keeps making money.
We can only replace quality with mediocrity so many times.
Transfer fees will balance the books ala Afobe, we ain't got to many Afobes.
When the money runs out we will be sold on the cheap.

14.) 06 May 2016 14:05:02
Realist, r u sure JACKETT isn't bein replaced? Morgan is going to move him on and replace him with a mate? Possibly Ince or Gary Neville? Just sayin what I've been told be grateful if u can ask your contact mate. Cheers.

15.) 06 May 2016 16:31:38
I don't think Jackett is going yet, I think he will get time with a new striker and playing Williamson Dicko and Graham. But if we are outside top 10 by February he will be gone. Moyes Lennon or Lambert to Celtic. Pearson Martinez or Moyes to Villa. Pearson or Martin to Derby. Anyone left for us, Neville would be worth a shout he always spoke up for us on Sky and he will have learned from Valencia.

16.) 06 May 2016 21:16:01
Why would you ask 'The Realist' a question regarding 'KJ' if you were so sure he was going to be replaced?

Sounds like your beginning to doubt your sources!

Why am I not surprised!

17.) 06 May 2016 21:25:26
I like the Realist and respect his info, but he hasn't heard anything about JACKETT going so simply askin him if he can push for anymore info. As many on here think JACKETT is safe or we will employ a new coach from within the club? But today I've heard Morgan will be movin JACKETT out and replacing him with possibly Ince or Gary Neville? U going tomorrow Chasetown? 😂.

18.) 06 May 2016 22:28:20
That's for me to know,

And for you to find out my dear friend!

Now, is there anything else you wish to know?

13 Apr 2016 12:17:41
Jackett reported to have said" I know what Wolves need". Correct me if I'm wrong but shouldn't he have known that at the begging of the season ad didn't a certain Dean Sauders say the same thing.

We the fans now what wolves need and that is not going to happen, until we the fans put some pressure on Moxey and Morgan and say enough is enough, keep away Banbury wolf until these two clowns have gone, watch them on telly or listen to Radio like I will do because Morgan seams quite content for the fans to keep paying there well earned money on watching this crappy football under Jackett, because I would not give him money to spend, he talks a good game but at the end of the day keeps coming out with the same old story lines the 16th worst defence and 12th or 13th highest scorers in championship is now were good enough for a team like Wolves who Moxey says play offs is minimum we should finish so keep by your words MR. MOXEY AND SACK JACKETT FOR START HE IS OUT IS DEPTH.
