Ref was very poor, Toti worst game i've seen him have for us but we all have a bad day at the office, Sa drop him Bentley deserves a run in goal Sa should have done better for their goal.
Positives we didn't lose, Sarabia is getting better and better with every match and atm our most creative player, Cunha is starting to bang them in for us, Semedo is another who is getting better every match.

I thought Toti was good 1st half but dropped off after the break. I think GON got the su.bs wrong today. Forest were clearly set up to defend, hit us on the break then shut up shop.

I would have put Doyle on instead of Traore and Bellegarde in place of Hwang. Sarabia played well.

Thought that half the team were good and the other half, poor . Particularly good were Cunha, as always, Dawson, Gomes and Sarabia. Cannot understand the continual negativity about Sa! Very strange! FWAW

Sasa should've come on much earlier imo too.

Hoping to step off the plane into some good news, but apparently not to be. Obviously I haven't seen or heard anything about the game but reading the vibes, I'm guessing another lack lustre display not dissimilar to Burnley.

I like GON but setting up to pass sideways and backwards against teams we should be attacking will not endear him to the Molineux crowds. I seem to remember some Bournemouth fans commenting on this during his time there.

Maybe we're still just missing Neto and his ability to drive things forward.

We are just too static at times. We have to pass back because no one is making runs to receive the ball. Would have liked to see Doyle on as he would have made some good passes. Oh well, we haven’t lost and hopefully we can actually play better against west ham.

Semedo might be getting better going forward, but only until half way forward. But defensively he’s not getting any better, how often have we seen him get beaten at the back post, a better sub would have been to bring Doyle on instead of Traore, we needed someone to put some forward passes in.

Blimey Rated, I think you are being hard on the ref who I think was about the best we've witnessed this season. We've had some absolute dross of course.
After praising Toti after the Burnley game, I can only say that he took several steps backwards today. Sarabia was excellent throughout and I think that O'Neil was erroneous in withdrawing him.Semedo looked calm and assured as he usually does when not having to face up to a pacey winger. Hwang needs to bring more to the table than notching goals and needs to man up and not go down as if snipered when things get slightly physical. Just when you think things can't get anymore ponderous on comes Doc to slow things down to an even more sloth like level.
The major plus point in my view is that we got a point as we could so easily have lost. We can't get Neto back soon enough but I fear it will be some time yet. Fingers crossed we'll at last get a decent away result and hammer the Hammers next week.

Personally I thought we did ok, forest lost their last game 5-0 and their manager is under pressure so of course they would be tight at the back. I get that people just want us to win and are disappointed when we don’t but seriously it isn’t that easy. We don’t have players like the Man City’s or Arsenals so we struggle to break teams down. I’m starting to think if we had a team like city we would still complain. Most on here seemed to think we would be relegated and now aren’t happy with how we are doing. Cunha scored again, he wasn’t good enough 3 months ago. We scored again, only Man Utd have stopped us scoring, again 3 months ago we couldn’t score against anyone. Yeah there’s room for improvement but isn’t there always with every team? To think we set up to pass sideways and backwards is comical. I thought our goal was some great play, it’s unfortunate some of the later plays didn’t pay off. But we didn’t lose.

Toti was heavily involved in the game but he gave the ball away too many times. It was probably one of his worst games so far.

Sarabia and Cunha were very good in the first half but the team became static in the second half. At one point the defence were looking for a forward pass and it looked like we had 6 forwards in an almost straight line, standing still and just waiting for the ball instead of making space and coming for the ball.

GON needs to sort that out and it would fix half of our problems.

It was a poor performance and a bang average day at the office, but like others have said when that happens the important thing is not to lose! I have to be honest I really don't understand why GON is so determined to persist with two DMF for both midfield roles. Both Lemina and Gomes are quality defensively but neither of them are great at linking up play. Whilst Doyle and Bellegarde KEEP watching on despite both being great at exactly that?!
Don't get me wrong I still think GON is doing well but I just don't get why he's stuck on this midfield pairing when we have TWO technically better CMFs watching on most the match?! On which note can someone please tell me what Traore is actually good at?! He's physical, strong, quick etc but technically what's his best attribute?! Cause GON keeps brining him on but I'm just not sure why, maybe if we are winning/protecting a lead but when chasing a game he just doesn't bring much.
Like I said previously Rome wasn't built in a day but I think GON is yet to find his best team. Cunha and Sarabia help but would love to see Doyle start the next game for Gomes ?
