I'm taking a break from posting on here so I would like to thank everyone for their past comments and interactions and of course the Ed's for making this site the best Wolves blog on the internet with their knowledge and management of it.
Under Shi/Fosun change won't happen and most now know it, so there seems little point in repeating the same criticisms of our owners and their domestic managerial incompetence that leaves us with nothing to get excited about.
Assuming we do get relegated they will have effectively fined themselves about £400M and treated their own supporters with the ultimate disrespect. Managers, like players come and go in football, some work out, some don't, in fact without the owners support none will. We've just brought in yet another Coach/Manager but under Fosun's transfer policies he'll fail just like the 5 before him, not necessarily because of him but because of them.
Any new signings need to be of a high standard but that won't happen as the die is cast and the damage is now well and truly done. As for the new Manager choice, to me the only logical explanation is preparation for the Championship such is the extent of Shi/Fosun's failure to provide funding, ambition or leadership.
Personally, I can do without all the disappointment in my life, so I plan to concentrate on my other hobbies, things that actually bring me pleasure. I've been a Wolves fan for 60 years now and will still hope for an upturn, but won't expect it until Shi/Fosun are gone and ambition returns.

Sorry to hear of your choice to break from posting longmynd, you've remain a stalwart of the wolves, and your informative thought provoking and reminders have always been enjoyed and respected, at least by myself.!.
I wish you well and that everything you are going to pursue now will eventually turn out 'old gold'.
All the best for now long, forever the wolf and always a member of this pack.

Sorry to read that LMW. If I recall your a motorbike enthusiast like myself. Enjoy, but remember don't let Fosun grind you down. I fear darker days ahead now for WWFC, possibly administration, but they will go and we'll rise again.
As supporters we need to protest their ownership to try and force them out by whatever means possible. Yes new owners are a risk an unknown, but I would rather take that now than this. All the best.

Sad to read this Long, you are an exceptional poster, and a poet to boot. If by some miracle we survive in the PL this season, I hope you return. That scenario is the only way I can envisage Fosun leaving, by surviving and selling.
If we're relegated, Fosun will probably be our forever owners as they are unlikely to sell for for the pittance they paid for us.

Despite the new name - as the system has thrown me out again - it is still the same miserable old git from before.
Long your poetry was astonishingly brilliant and your comments and insights equally so!
You will be missed!
However I cannot say I am surprised.
You may have noticed I post a lot less these days as well as sadly what is there to say.
I am embarrassed and ashamed and don't even watch MoftD anymore.
I have also lost interest in Fantasy where I used to compete in numerous leagues!
Fosun haven't just killed Wolves they have killed top flight football for me - I now watch loads of non league and lower league stuff plus go to the occasional rugby match - saw Pumas yesterday!
I still read posts here and elsewhere from people "hoping" that there will be a recovery and talking about resets and investment by Jeff.
The only thing Jeff has done well is cover his tracks.
When reality hits, (and it is going to get a lot, lot worse than this), it is going to be a real eye opener for some.

Saddened by your decision longmynd, like all on here I lover reading your posts, hope your back soon. Does anyone on here think there is an outside chance RE can turn it round before we are mathematically relegated
Reading gomes, andre arias, jsl, might be sold
Who would come to us. In this predicament,
I know we will still be wolves fans whatever
Division we were in
I want us at least to play everygame from now on
With pride, passion, enthusiasm, and show commitment to every fan who watches them play.
All we can ask for is that, end of day if its not enough so be it
Im a wolf forever

It's a sad day when they lose a good supporter, me and my mate who have had our tickets for years have decided if they sell J. Gomes then this season is our last. Sick of seeing our best moved on for profit to be replaced by third raters. This lot couldn't run a tap!

Just a final word for now to say thanks for your kind comments Gents and yes NGSM you've sussed me out as I currently have a couple of bike related projects on the go.
Like you TFIOG I'm finding solace in Rugby again right now, especially the international game with England on the rise and the Red Roses totally dominant. I haven't watched MOTD at all this season with Fosun also sucking my interest in elite league football totally dry.
It's not about Premier League glory hunting but without ambition there is no basis for hope in any division.

Greyleg, I'll stick my neck out and say there's an outside chance that we will survive. Very outside mind you! I'm basing my optimism on Leicester City. Despite Leicester being marooned at the bottom of the table for four-and-a-half months between late November 2014 and mid-April 2015, the Foxes managed to put together a run of seven wins from their last nine fixtures to survive comfortably.
And of course they won the PL the following season, at 5, 000 to 1. And of course, they were eventually relegated. Also RE did an incredible job at Luton, keeping them competitive to the end, and only 6 points adrift in18th place when relegated.

as those have said before, Your posts will be missed.
I do believe we still have a chance of surviving, yes a very slim one to say the least, but you have to stay positive when down at the bottom of the trenches. I think most of us on here have the same feelings on how our club has been run, and how all the good times of only a few years ago are a very distant memory right now, but its where we are and nothing will change that.
We have a good fan base no matter what division we have been in, and believe me, we have seen it all, good and bad! But my feeling on it all now is, Fosun are not going anywhere, and no matter how much people jump up and down and scream for them to go, the threats of boycotts or protests will do nothing but cause more pain for all involved, seem that in life now when things get hard, everyone things a protest will solve it, NOW is the time for all of us, on here or at the games to pull in the one direction, get behind Rob and the, if you want to moan and stamp your feet stay away, it does nobody any favours, including yourself.

Will miss you long.
Nothing will change until these owners are gone
I'm finding solace in going to my local A league club who mind you are winning games of football.
Miss you long

Repeat everyone’s comments Long - sorry to hear you’re taking a break but hope you’ll at least keep your eye on us?
There’ll be a time when things will change for the better and I for one will be looking forward to a few magically rhymed words to keep us motivated.

So long Long and all the best for the future. I'm sure you are nowhere near alone in being a Match of the Day avoider. Haven't seen a single one myself and unlikely to unless we win so that's just 2 viewings this season (Villa home and away; very much tongue in cheek).Maybe catch you in the Ragleth sometime but we'll have to wear carnations!
