Marco Silva said on the box his position won't become clear until Wednesday, so if anything going to happen there, your looking to mid week at the earliest! Personally, I think he would be a very good move for us, but now suspect we will lose out again. 😢 More of the same Drama next season I suspect! I hope I'm wrong!

Here's a thought for all you moaners. Did Watford not get promoted with an unheard of foreign manager who bought in a lot of unheard of foreign players Also are Watford still in the prem for another season.?

Wanderer1979, for every Watford scenario (and they got through a lot of managers before they went up) there is a Montanier at Forest, a Hasselbaink at QPR, a Dujkhuisen at Brentford, a Riga at Charlton and Blackpool. Just because it has worked at Watford does not mean it will work for Wolves. I don't recall many other teams who have been promoted with that set up, albeit Watford did have a Championship experienced spine through their team when they went up.
If we go for this Portuguese chap, it's a massive risk as he has no track record anywhere.

I was going through photos the other week and noticed joeleon lescott handing me my football trophy. he must of been around 18.i also played in the same team as Connor goldson and have a team pic if he makes it big I might send it to a newspaper lol.

my claim to fame is having a photo taken with dean Sturridge Nathan blake and kevin muscat all in the same picture. I have have a photo of it in a frame. this was in 2001
I also was on the express and star them showing me and walter zenga having a selfie.

On about autograph hunters I was walkin past the Billy Wright entrance final day, I saw this guy talkin to a couple of blokes and signin autographs, one bloke with an autograph book said to me who's he I'd better get his autograph as others are? I thought get a life, a bit like train spotters! The lad was Kevin Foley.

Different note true story . My friend son was ill and had a wish granted by make a wish, he was before he got ill a season ticket holder with the rest of his family . His wish was to meet Mick Mc Carthy and the team to his delight some 5 weeks later he got sent all the details of a match and how he would meet the gaffa and the team b4 the match . On the day his dad attended off went the little one and dad was took up to the bar were he was introduced to Steve bull don good man been a big fan dad got pics and autographs he told me that some. bloke stood with Steve bull who had introduced himself as rob my mate kindly was interested in rob as he had got his childhood hero Steve bull stood next to him . when he told me Thisbe story I asked him to describe rob and told him in was Robert plant . I googled a pic of RB and he said yes that's him . LOL.

PT your right this week is massive and I believe this will be clearer by this time next week. I defend Lambert to a point the squad was not good enough however made some undefendable mistakes along the way. If some of these players we are now linked with are down to Lambert and Therwell God help us because they are not what is required.

If Silva is favourite for Southampton then it makes me wonder if any of the also rans are any better than Lambo, like it or not. Maybe there is a foreign gem that Mendes will unearth but remember last year his best shot was Zenga and a load of dud players.
I desperately want Fosun to have a brilliant master plan but looking at the evidence and their behaviour all I see is naievety and knee jerk reactions and an inability to see a plan through without knowing what comes next.

I think we all agree Zenga was a last gap manager given the time restraints put upon us by Morgan delaying the deal to get more money and add on's. However perhaps a better manager would have worked with what Mendes to get a better result. It is not unusual in European football outside the UK for advent to get positional players then managers work with them rather than dispense with them at the drop of a hat.
