The Express are reporting that wolves are second in the race to sign Ballotelli be hind Newcastle PLEASE GOD HE SIGNS FOR NEWCASTLE!,

1.) 04 Jan 2019 14:24:50
The Express are well known for fantasy so I wouldn't read too much into it.

2.) 04 Jan 2019 14:49:51
I know he's not everyone's cup of tea but I'd certainly take him. PL winner, Italy international, good goalscoring record at the highest level (except Liverpool) . No longer getting in trouble. Rather have him over Tammy Abraham, but each to his own I suppose.

3.) 04 Jan 2019 16:27:02
No chance lazy selfish player trouble maker Abraham any day over him.

4.) 04 Jan 2019 17:25:10
So Seagullwolf, you'd rather have an unproven player than a proven international who hasn't been in trouble in the last 5 years?

5.) 04 Jan 2019 17:45:31
This just lazy journalism rehash of a bs story from the summer.

What a night my head is thumping this morning, great performance from what will surely become an even greater team it just gets better.
To my fellow poster Abbywolf would you like cream or custard with this. 🥧 😂😂😂👍.

I bow to you sdav78. Good job ruddy wasn't troubled tho.! what a fantastic night everyone a winner in the team jiminez and moutinho stand out. I maintain my dislike of VAR and I think the shambolic episode last night proves. 'The ref can't be trusted' the atmosphere quietened our impetus stunted and silly delay giving linedarse more to talk about instead of how convincing wolves victory was. Bring on Wembley WE ARE WOLVES.

2.) 17 Mar 2019 09:27:35
As I have previously posted VAR will ruin the flow of the game as it did last night we need better referees not VAR and in Martin Atkinson we have a better refereee who in my humble opinion got it right first time wiped out Jota had to go. We are inevitably going to get VAR so how about 30 seconds to make decision, if conclusive decision not reached stick with refs decision and get on with the game!

3.) 17 Mar 2019 15:03:34
I agree that var will spoil our great game, but if you watched Swansea v Man city if var was used in that game Man city would be out of the cup.

John Ruddy is going to play tomorrow because we consider it's the right moment to prepare him for what's coming in front of us. In two weeks' time we're going to play the FA Cup, and John Ruddy is going to be in goal. We consider this the right moment to get some game competition and to be stronger.

Like I said!

Humble pie anyone?

2.) 01 Mar 2019 20:35:01
Well see in 2 weeks time.

3.) 01 Mar 2019 21:07:00
Nowt to see mate it’s a given!

4.) 02 Mar 2019 05:19:51
Let's hope ole going to solsummmat is as gullible. I normally spend a 20 on a Saturday and the odd fiver in the week. Today tho I'm only spending my fiver because I know I'll need the 20 for a big day out in a fortnight's time.

Undoubtedly the worst refereeing performance I have ever seen but I still don't want VAR!

I'm a huge Rugby fan and it works in Rugby because it is a stop / start kind of game, so you have time to take those decisions and go back of necessary.
Football is quite different.
I think there possibly is a place for it for certain decisions (was a trip in the box or out of the box; was the player offside or not) that can be made within 30 seconds.
I also think it has a place for post match citing for foul play or for clear cheating / diving, but the punishments then have to be there to deter the offence happening again - that works in Rugby union and Rugby league.
My preference for football would actually be for more referees on the pitch - again, something that works really well in rugby league and NFL taking the heat off just one person and making lines people more active than they are now - they do nothing more than wave a flag.
Take a look at Nigel Owens yesterday as touch judge but with the ability to work with the ref as an equal to check and make the right decisions.

2.) 24 Feb 2019 19:58:32
VAR!? No no no. It'll spoil everything for the spontaneity of the game and enjoyment of the spectator. The debates and opinions shared. It's supposed to be used in fa cup quarter finals (except millwall) so a stop start fiasco taking the night KO even later into the night and subjecting BBC viewers to even more Lineker drivel. No thank you.

Just read that the greatest goalkeeper ever has sadly passed away at the age of 81.
What an absolute legend R. I. P.
Gordon Banks!

sdav78

1.) 12 Feb 2019 10:20:26
RIP Gordon Banks. The term legend is bandied about too much nowadays but Gordon was fully deserving of the accolade.

2.) 12 Feb 2019 11:34:09
Yep, sad news and his unforgettable, unrepeatable save against Brazil in 1970 etched in the memory. Those of you who didn't see it at the time will be shown it over and over now and witness a feat that makes a legend. A true sportsman in genuine times RIP.

3.) 12 Feb 2019 13:43:12
Absolutely, Gordon Banks, English Legend and true gentleman. Couldn’t imagine what a keeper of his calibre would cost now
The Lord has an absolutely awesome team with Banksy now between the sticks. RIP.

4.) 12 Feb 2019 22:54:26
RIP Gordon Banks so good you could name a beer after him seriously though he always came across as a really nice guy.

Sam Ricketts whinging about a potential foul on one of his players for Cav's goal!
Suck it up Sam we've had loads of decisions go against us this season and old cliche it may be but it does even itself out over the course of a season.
VAR, personally I am dreading it it's going to ruin the flow of the game and even with the opportunity to see events over and over again they still get it wrong. Football needs better referees not VAR!

sdav78

1.) 06 Feb 2019 11:55:41
VAR will just sterilise the game completely and take away our enjoyment and discussion over events, which is a big element of going to and after the match. Save it for the international finals and don't ruin the grass roots supporter's input. Re last night, as far as I can see there was a tussle for the ball, that's football, the ref consulted with linesman and no infringement judged. The other week doc went down and didn't get a pen, VAR may have given it us or we could have had play held up and still got nothing. It's just whizz kids tinkering and giving TV more to fill their air time. Leave the game alone.

Fair play to the Albion
Turned up tonight in fancy dress as empty seats

I’ve a funny feeling Nuno ain’t short of a few bob😂
But still begs the question why wasn’t Klopp sent off, why was Boly sent off and Vincent company wasn’t?
Be interesting to see if the decisions go our way when we’ve elbowed out one of the so called big six.

Sorry but I think Cav is a far better player than Traore will ever be and he is no match for an inform Costa. Yes with the right handling by Nuno he may come good but all in all I think the jury is well and truly out on that one.
