Very reliable sky reporter Romano Fabrizio has said that Cutrone is coming back to Europe to finalise a deal with Wolves👍.

BridgoWolf

1.) 27 Jul 2019 14:36:02
Cutrone looks likely. Wolves site confirms we have signed Jesus. It's finally happening.

2.) 27 Jul 2019 14:43:01
What’s everybody’s thoughts on dani olmo plays for Zagreb and the rumour Benfica turned 35 mill down for Fernandes.

3.) 27 Jul 2019 16:08:52
AC Milan PR manager has put on his Instagram story “good luck bomber” with a picture with Cutrone.

4.) 27 Jul 2019 18:35:41
Dani Olmo would be a terrific signing. Played in same Spain U21 side that won Euros in 2018 with Jesus Vallejo as captain. Attacking midfielder but can also play wide up front. Would be about £23m.

5.) 28 Jul 2019 00:59:36
I think we are all forgetting that Rafa Mir also played in that side, he is already with Wolves!

6.) 28 Jul 2019 03:31:44
@ Wolfypete11 Luke Chadwick played on the same U-21 team as Frank Lampard. It doesn’t mean anything. Some players develop and some stay at the same level.
I wouldn’t get too precious over Mir, the only reason Wolves got his signature is because they offered double what Real Madrid did.

25 Jul 2019 17:59:31
Spanish CB Vallejo is set to sign according to Tim Spiers and Tim Nash. Anyone know anything about him?

BridgoWolf

1.) 25 Jul 2019 19:01:37
He is a centre half.

2.) 25 Jul 2019 20:39:41
6' 0"

3.) 25 Jul 2019 22:19:08
Talking wolves twitter have posted a picture of him at the game tonight.

24 Jul 2019 23:01:10
Moise Kean and Khedira both been linked by sky. Would be awesome.

BridgoWolf

1.) 24 Jul 2019 23:08:07
Would be also the juventus fans thinking they will sign neves hahaha.

2.) 24 Jul 2019 23:59:02
Juventus are eyeing Ruben Neves as part of a possible exchange deal with Moise Kean going to Wolves, report Sky Sport Italia.

Bianconeri director Fabio Paratici was in London today for talks with Premier League sides and these included Wolverhampton Wanderers.

3.) 25 Jul 2019 09:38:04
Neves is wolves. End of.

4.) 25 Jul 2019 09:48:15
If Juventus give us Kean (£35m) and a further £25m, then I think Wolves would consider it.

5.) 25 Jul 2019 10:16:04
It's not a bad deal in value. Especially with Kean included

It's who you replace Neves with the problem. If you could give me a Bruno Fernandes to slot alongside Moutinho and Khedira. It's a good turn out in my mind.

But as was stated Neves is Wolves! Which we all love. And this last two weeks has got everyone playing fantasy football. Just bring in some decent cover for what we have if all else fails.

6.) 25 Jul 2019 10:16:43
Jason M, No we won't.

7.) 25 Jul 2019 10:55:55
Sorry Zuluecho08. I forgot you work for Wolves.

8.) 25 Jul 2019 10:57:21
Wolves value Neves at £100 mil. In other words he's not for sale! The swap story in the Birmingham Mail is click-bait rubbish. Don't believe a word of it.

9.) 25 Jul 2019 11:02:26
I don't believe any of the BS in the press. Sky are now saying Wolves are on the verge of signing Cutrone after agreeing a fee with Milan but not with the player himself. In other words, we ain't that close then. Also we are interested in Lemina from Southampton but he's not a priority. Just poor journalism as far as I'm concerned.

10.) 25 Jul 2019 11:07:38
Anyone remember this from like a couple weeks ago

@Sport_Mediaset : Milan are in talks to exchange Andre Silva plus €15m with Wolverhampton Wanderers midfielder Ruben Neves.

Its the same thing just a different team and player but the outcome will be the same neves will still be a wolves player going onto the season.

11.) 25 Jul 2019 11:11:16
Lemina class signing. Outstanding when I saw him at Mol.

12.) 25 Jul 2019 11:56:25
Interesting to hear that Zuluecho08 works for Wolves. We are not selling any of our stars. Just think what a quantum leap we made last season. We will go on improving and so will the value of our players. A couple of weeks ago some poor depressed sod on this site was panicking and said Fosun were selling up. On the contrary we know what Fosun's long term plan is. We're already ahead of schedule but the ultimate goal is to make Wolves a world class club again.

13.) 25 Jul 2019 12:07:50
I don't live in the Midlands but have this window followed what the Birmingham Mail reports. It seems to me that they are headline grabbers and not a serious source of quality reporting. Is that a shared view by you guys who are on the patch?

14.) 25 Jul 2019 12:17:20
Let's put it this way. not a single transfer reported in Birmingham Mail has ever come true.

15.) 25 Jul 2019 12:04:10
Ed have you heard any more on the Sanson discussions?

{Ed001's Note - I just asked and got told this: "spoke with Wolves (no formal offer and unsure what was available), Borussia Dortmund (need to get Sebastian Rode's wages off the books and not first choice), Newcastle (player not interested - may have spoken with FT) and Everton (made a hash of it). He is still potentially available."

So doesn't look like he will be heading your way, which is a shame, I would like to see him in the Prem. I rate him as a player from what I have seen.}

16.) 25 Jul 2019 12:28:36
Gi
T it Jas. Thanks.

17.) 25 Jul 2019 13:21:19
Wimbourne. Birmingham Mail are amongst the worst click-bait merchants. Click click every trip is what they want. They make up headlines designed to intrigue you, so you click and then wish you hadn't. Like: Nuno sanctions star striker transfer! You click on it and it's about some young kid we are letting go as he'll never make it.

18.) 25 Jul 2019 13:37:22
We all agree the the Birmingham Mail just generate click bait - they reference even worse websites like HITC who use articles like “five players Wolves must sign”.

19.) 25 Jul 2019 14:28:02
Plus now it's proved silva carries a injury they sh offer a couple of million for him.

20.) 25 Jul 2019 16:11:14
Thanks Ed. Looks like it was a bit of window shopping checking availabilty. I'm sure a lot of this goes on by buyers and sellers to check out options and have fall backs when the majority of offers fall on stoney ground. Makes me surprised that any deals get done.

{Ed001's Note - the early closing of the transfer window is not helping Prem teams either.}

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news but I think that Transferchecker lad on twitter who said “Wolves are about to do an absolute madness. ” might be lying for followers to hit 100k. Still could be true but don’t put all your hopes on it.

BridgoWolf

1.) 18 Jul 2019 08:47:39
Just read Big Jeff talkin to Jonny Phillips, he says he knows some fans are nervous as far as transfers go, but not to worry 👍.

2.) 18 Jul 2019 10:01:21
Wouldn't surprise me to hear that someone posted false news just to get more followers. Pathetic, if true. It sounds like 'small penis syndrome'! That's probably what some of the trolls and wind-up merchants suffer from! But I will defer judgement on Transferchecker until we hear more as he doesn't sound like a wind-up guy.

I agree with PT above, some fans are nervous but there's no need to worry.

3.) 18 Jul 2019 12:16:08
Yeah BridgoWolf I did see his tweet last night about hitting 100k followers I think he'll lose quite a few if he is click baiting or lying to gain followers.
However I agree with PT we have nothing to worry about i'm sure before the season starts we'll have 3 or 4 new signings in place.

4.) 18 Jul 2019 13:37:22
Diego Costa to Wolves is officially fake news.

A Twitter account called Football Daily (with over 70k followers) posted a fake quote from Jorge Mendes.

The motivation? To get more followers! The result? More followers! The impact? Lots of fans put money on it and lose! At one point the odds were 1/ 4 ON. Plus a lot of Wolves fans are bitterly disappointed.

Do yourselves a favour and un-follow such Twitter sites.

5.) 18 Jul 2019 14:55:44
It might not be Costa but after Big Jeffs interview I'm 100% sure we've got players incoming👍 And that blokes contact in China who said 3 medicals were booked in for next week will be proved right👍.

6.) 18 Jul 2019 15:14:21
Agree Paul, there I bound to be sone signings made, I'm not worried in the slighted, come the end of the window we will be stronger and ready to go to war.

7.) 18 Jul 2019 17:29:34
All this Twitter fake agent non-sense started a few years ago when a 15-year-old kid pretended to be an agent and redtop back pages were quoting him. It was very funny tbh but betting companies cottoned on this was a way to create revenue, so when accounts reach X amount of followers all of a sudden they also start advertising odds on a signing.

14 Jul 2019 22:26:03
Messages have been leaked revealing that Jack Hendry (Celtic CB) has signed. Don’t know how reliable it is but it’s on twitter and seems pretty legit. Anyone know anything about him?

BridgoWolf

1.) 15 Jul 2019 00:45:37
Ive seen a few pretty happy he is going so that says a lot also it could be leicester city so i'm hoping that its them.

2.) 15 Jul 2019 06:49:42
From what I have read load of crap. People would rather us sign Paul Henry aka benny from crossroads.

Apparently Valencia have made their whole team available for a transfer this summer. Wouldn’t mind Kondogbia, Gaya, Diakhaby. If we could get them three for around £50m that’d be a steal.

BridgoWolf

1.) 18 Aug 2020 15:20:28
There are fans on here who don't appear to rate Tim Spiers analysis of transfer updates. However the guyis usually pretty accurate. With ffp and the virus and with Fosuns reluctance to spend big, he has stated that players must go before any are bought in. Also stating Nuno intends to keep squad small. The ambition I think has dissipated and a struggle is on the cards.

2.) 18 Aug 2020 19:34:47
He’s saying that if nuno persists with a small squad fringe players will be moved on to accommodate new signings slightly different to your spin on things sq.

3.) 19 Aug 2020 09:21:31
Nuno has already been given the Green light to go for his Targets by Fosun, Either because a deal with Juventus has already been agreed or they're not afraid of FFP Rules because of Future success of the club.
I'm not Scared or afraid of what's coming, I'm excited.

15 Aug 2020 11:10:38
What fans aims should be for the club:
We should be aiming for silverware + Top 6 finish/ push the top 4 this season. In 21/ 22 we should definitely be aiming for CL, if not something’s gone wrong. Players we need this season are a new CB, Wing back that can play both sides, and a back up striker. Moutinho does eventually need a replacement as well.

BridgoWolf

1.) 15 Aug 2020 14:20:50
Agree bridgo, I would like to see a more aggressive midfielder personally as well, who plays a bit more forward.

2.) 15 Aug 2020 14:38:07
Cantwell would do a good job I think.

3.) 15 Aug 2020 17:40:32
Agree. But are we sure he's bright
Enough 😄😄.

4.) 15 Aug 2020 19:08:57
We had a player named bright once even he wasn't bright enough.

5.) 15 Aug 2020 19:29:09
Do you think PT would say he's bright🤔.

6.) 15 Aug 2020 19:44:17
PT has insiders don';t forget mate he knows the tea lady.

7.) 16 Aug 2020 09:33:42
He is the tea lady!

8.) 16 Aug 2020 10:12:25
I think we will have a good run in both of the cups next season maybe go all the way and win one.
Since Nuno every season has been better than the previous if that trend carries on. Well its goosebumps time.
Happy as a kid in a sweet shop being a wolves fan. As things stand nothing can be done or said to change that
FWAW.

9.) 17 Aug 2020 13:30:32
Agree Doog1938 great times for wolves fans.
Some aspirations need taming, only regarding spend, we can aim for the stars but looking at great spends on transfers with big sales is unrealistic.
We need to boost appeal on all fronts, advertising sponsorship being the obvious but also club sales etc.

Its a tough grind to bring income up enough to allow big player spend and this is not down to a lack of owner investment, its down to elitist regulations keeping the already big clubs big, I.E. those that already had the income prior to the rules coming into effect, killed the likes of the 60's 70's 80's were if the club could invest in top players it did, and there was a turn over of top clubs bar a few.

The few clubs that over spent and collapsed allowed the elite to bring in rules that in disguise of protecting clubs kept the elite at the top, shameful really.

How is no one after Ollie Watkins? Would be perfect for us. 24, English, ST/ RW, 18 goals and 3 assists, £25m-£30m. Thoughts?

BridgoWolf

1.) 14 Jan 2020 20:53:14
Haven't heard of him until reading your post £25-£30 million seems a lot for a championship player but could be a diamond my minds open.
FWAW.

2.) 15 Jan 2020 10:28:34
Great player Bridgo, I suspect he is a victim of his own value! In so much as its a bit much for most clubs to take a punt on when he's never played at the highest level. The only clubs which it would be worth taking the punt for is those in the relegation zone. but heres the kicker why would he go to one of those when Brentford are looking good right now?!

I also think there's a lack of interest cause he seems pretty settled. They got him through a nasty injury not that long ago so its entirely possible that he wants to stay and repay that (he seems like a grounded lad) . Would be interesting to see him at the top level mind ;)

3.) 15 Jan 2020 10:36:47
Sounds very unrealistic value for a lad with 18 months experience in Championship. Maupay was proven and fetched £20m so you are talking of of a near Raul valuation for an untried and untested striker.

05 Aug 2019 18:06:19
We have 5 to cover the midfield, 2 to cover the CB, 1 to cover the LWB, 1 to cover the RWB, 2 to cover the ST. A sqaud of 20. I think our transfer window is over tbh.

BridgoWolf

1.) 06 Aug 2019 21:35:36
No sign of an attacking midfielder though so perhaps it's got further to go

And there might be interest in our players let's hope not.

31 Jul 2019 22:12:09
Nuno says that he wants 1 more singing but I think we need 2. A midfielder and a defender. Links to both positions. Thoughts?

AMN can literally play RWB/ LWB/ CM/ RM/ LM. Fantastic player, £20m would be a steal.

I wouldn’t worry about CB. We’ve got Boly, Kilman, Coady, Saiss and Dendonker. Good window in my opinion, class player in Podence, and some great youth players.

He was forced out of Milan, he didn’t want to leave but they needed to raise funds. And yes I’m sure he was learning English but he’s been there less than 5 months, it would be weird if he did learn it so quick. It’s also he can’t speak his younger, pretty much every player shares a language with someone:
Portugal- Rui, Vinagre, Neves, Joao, Jordao, Neto, Jota, Raul.
French- Boly, Dendonker, Saiss.
English- Ruddy, Kilman, Bennet, Coady, MGW.
Spanish- Adama, Jonny, Vallejo
Italian- Cutrone, the cleaner
We can’t even judge if he suits English football, he was hardly given the chance. Every time he came on he constantly pressed the defence, not sure what game you’ve been watching.

They are different languages. That’s like someone saying to the someone English “you share some words with the French, you must understand the language. ”.
