Hi Wolves supporter from 1942 to date. I have seen the best and the worst teams, but I must say the present team game plan is boring, I know I am an old un, but the monotonous defensive play from midfield back to the keeper sends me to sleep. Wolves were a great counter attacking team last season. I must say also in all premier teams most team managers and staff on the bench are adding to the trouble with their over the top antics. In the Stan Cullis era, all there was only wooden plank across the players entrance, with old Jack Davies seated, with the away teams trainer each with a galvanised bucket of water and sponge.

Hi. Born 100 yards from the Golen Palace 1935. My old dad took me to my first match May 1942, The Northern League Cup Final, Wolves v Sunderland, a two leg final,. Wolve won 6-3. During WW2 myself and my old pal's watched the wartime league matches in the 'Cowshead'now the Stan Cullis, as most players we in the forces then, guest players would play. I was present at most of the 'Golden Days' except absent due to National Service 1953-55, therefore I have seen all the great's play - Billy Wright etc, I never missed a home match in wolves 'dark day's when Chorley beat. I remember the poor wolves supporter attendance in those day's 3000 etc, where were the loud supporter's with their new strips of today then missing in action!
As far as the present team's performance, for god's sake it's a transitional period, give Bruno a chance, I might have been in 'Dads Army' but I wouldn't like to be in the trenches with most of the nervous poster's.
Keep Calm and Carry On
