Lambert: will be confirmed Thursday, he is in Germany, so an announcement delayed until his return.

1.) 02 Nov 2016 09:48:39
Yh I saw pat Murphy say he was out there till Thursday watching a game (got of been Celtic) and he was catching up with some " contacts " and Tim Nash saying Fosun want to a point before sat, and I agree I expect it to be lambert.

2.) 02 Nov 2016 10:00:34
I'm sure Lambert has got the job. He is the best of the Brit candidates. His international credentials will help us with player recruitment as well.

Effectively his first game in charge will be after the international break. If he's in place by Thursday that gives him time to speak to the players before the Derby match. If he's watching that match from the stands, the players should bust a gut to impress him.

3.) 02 Nov 2016 11:27:01
So we are getting a jock strap?! Of the ones on offer I'd have to say lambert, Pearson in that order. Very close though and I may even put Pearson slightly in front because at least you can understand what he says. Also speaks the queens English as in will be understood by our foreign contingent and the odd verbiage that he would expound will be universal as in know all around the world.! He also says it as it is. Will he get on with Jeff shi? That's another question all by its self. Whichever one it is, he needs to be given time and backing by the supporters. 😉.

4.) 02 Nov 2016 12:04:52
Pearson is a complete loose cannon and he's had his failures too. Not for me.

5.) 02 Nov 2016 12:36:58
At least when he tells you to foxtrot Oscar peterobbo, you would understand him? With Lambert you may have to ask him to repeat a few times before you got it? 😉.

6.) 02 Nov 2016 15:16:34
Sky Sports claiming it's Lambert but nobody else. Don't know what they think they know. But probably a good choice.

He's not difficult to understand at all!

7.) 02 Nov 2016 15:26:13
Betting suspended think will be before Thursday.

8.) 02 Nov 2016 15:41:24
Lyndon5 so what you're saying it's today then? As today is the last day before Thursday 😂😂.

9.) 02 Nov 2016 15:45:42
Lamberts the best choice really, did a fantasic job with Norwich even made Grant Holt one top english forwards! Managed to keep villa in the prem even with all their issues and bad owners and kept Blackburn in the championship lastseason when they looked set to go down.

10.) 02 Nov 2016 15:55:48
Nice one WOLVESCOAST, but in fact I've never had any difficulty understanding him and I'm from the south coast too originally!

11.) 02 Nov 2016 16:39:48
Dour, miserable and thoroughly uninspiring. He won't even last 87 days.

12.) 02 Nov 2016 17:24:25
I've got a very scary feeling he will sign Agbonlahore.

13.) 02 Nov 2016 18:09:10
I don’t care if he is dour and miserable. I just want him to win games of football. If you want to watch a comedian, go to a comedy club.

14.) 03 Nov 2016 07:36:46
Any decent manager can have success with the right players. So far we haven't signed the right ones and the squad is unbalanced. If the new manager is given control of the players he wants then he can be successful. Hopefully were done with being linked with Portuguese cast off's.

15.) 03 Nov 2016 09:14:42
The new players are mostly pretty good. Our midfield isn't the problem nor our strikers, although we still rely on Edwards to join them together.

Anyone else noticed we rarely get 50% of possession? Is this because our defenders lose the ball too quickly? Or is it because we push opposition defences so much they just pass it round between them? I suspect the former.

16.) 03 Nov 2016 11:00:48
I would completely disagree. Our centre forward or number 9 position has managed 2 goals so far this season. That's the biggest problem we have. Secondly is we generally have less than 50% possession because our midfield is poor. We have foreign players who I believe will be good this time next year, then the British Midfielders other than Jack Price are technically poor. As for our fullbacks the worst of the lot. How often are they either out of position or standing off the winger allowing them to deliver without pressure.

Has anyone heard of a company called . Mytel? spelling may differ) . I am told they have been in extensive talks at Molineux. I have looked online, Mytel is a large telecommunication company in Canada. It may be nothing . Let's hope they have a billionaire owner.

Brewood

1.) 12 Mar 2016 19:12:43
their owner is a canadian/ welsh citizen according to Wpedia.
he is worth $2.1 billion translate that into £ I think he is woth about 1 billion pound. he also owns a hotel and has connections with make a wish.

2.) 12 Mar 2016 19:25:21
I recently seen Jez Moxey using a new phone (after his car been parked outside the Mol for over 3 hrs) could he already be on the MYtel network? sounds likely. If her refers a friend he gets £10.00 credit for either calls or 15 gig of net usage.

In Moxey we trust.

3.) 13 Mar 2016 09:29:31
Is Mytel anything to do with ROK?

4.) 13 Mar 2016 16:53:22
Yes, the two companies are connected.

Dear All,
New poster but avid reader of page.
Surely the first indicator of a completed takeover will be either a new Chief Exec being appointed or even the replacement of the manager, I'm in quite regular contact with an ex player, and he has heard nothing of any bid nearing completion.
Comments?

{Ed003's Note - Welcome.}

1.) 04 Jan 2016 19:14:53
Morgan did neither of those sensible suggestions.

2.) 04 Jan 2016 22:56:49
No I believe you to be incorrect with your points. The first indicators will be well before then surely announcement that a takeover is official with introduction of the new owner/ s. Details you mention would be a little down the line.

Does anyone feel that the deal must be close? I only ask because, if not, less than a month to go to Rotherham, and only one signing, a geriatric back up keeper, if it isn't, I fear a relegation battle, and then the very real prospect of Mr Morgan seeing his £30 million asking price take a very big hit.

Brewood

1.) 08 Jul 2016 11:03:51
Very good comment Brewood that's why I am thinking positive and sticking my neck out and saying it will go through, it as to now as Wolves fans would be going bonkers and Morgan and Moxeys life would be hell.

I think you'll find Tim Sherwood is nailed on for Blackburn. Especially with Paul Lambert activating his release clause.

Ulf.
Seriously, do you really think Morgan cares? His legacy at WWFC was shot the moment he threw his toys out of the pram at Preston, he's been vilified ever since, along with Moxey ( who is just a scapegoat) , we all long for the days of exciting football, McCalliog, to Waggy, cross, Dougan knock down. Richards scores in front of the North Bank, but money talks, and we NEED money to achieve our aspirations . I want to go into Europe with the Wolves, I was 11 when we played in the EUFA cup final, ( and hated Martin Chivers, and Spurs ever since) , and have seen other teams draw level and go past us. Bournemouth, Norwich, Southampton . All fine and decent clubs, but even their most die hard fan would surely concede we're a bigger club. We ARE a sleeping giant, and the sooner Morgan relinquishes his hold over the club the better.

Ulf.
This is a rumour site, not the guardian. And I'm a guardian reader.
I don't think that Moxey or Morgan care who they sell to, as long as they get plenty of buck for their bang. They don't care for heritage, or tradition, it's business, it's money, and that's it.

If someone wants to put the link, my wife is Spanish and she'll translate it, and not just literally, she can get through the phrasing of the article also.

Could Moxey have gone to the F. A to tender his resignation to the FA board?
If there is a takeover and
he's not a CEO anymore, he'd have to resign his position.

I think the Mirror story is a re hash, most of it is lifted from the Express and Star piece from yesterday, they may have included Bob Laslett as the second party involved.

Hi Spanish.
My post was purely a wish list given in response to Big cheese.
I'm sure that the people I mentioned WOULD give serious consideration to a job at Wolves, but, only if the new owners were guaranteeing a (extremely) large war chest with which to work.
As I stated earlier, hypothetical on my part, and my opinion, but as we enter the final weeks of May, and no concrete evidence of a new owner, I worry that we will lose Iorfa, Hause, and possibly Ikeme if something isn't sorted and then will be struggling to avoid a relegation battle.
