Cunha was brilliant but should have scored. Nunes has so much potential. Gomes was very good. In fact the whole team were great. Forget relegation, under GON, this team will achieve things.

I agree the whole team was excellent but the result felt horribly familiar to SO many performances last season! For me we HAVE to sign a striker who likes to spend most of his time in the six yard box cause at the moment that's what we are really missing! Not sure it's likely to happen mind, we are being linked with Sam Bell decent player but he's not the answer.

I agree, they were all great. Even Sa with some of his throws to start a counter attack. And 'yes' we obviously need a scoring sticker. It would have been easier to get one if we'd won but the general performance was good and will hopefully tilt any prospective stickers to at least come on loan. I was really worried last night wondering how the players would react to all the goings on, but I worried needlessly. Now let's see some consistency.

Personally, I thought Silva looked good when he came on. He had 2 shots and dragged tge defenders out if position. We may already have tge answer within our ranks.

Went into corals today, saw on one of the machines, we were 750/1 to win to he league, and 150/1 to finish topsix ( I know its optimistic)
But I had a fiver spare so I wrote the bet out, a fiver at 150/1 to finish topsix,
I took it to the counter, and they said, it's 66/1 now ?

Not sure Jas, I do like Silva and definitely think he has a role to play this season but he had two good chances and didn't score (sadly). I also think it's about the realities of it, 20 goal a season strikers don't exist to clubs like wolves. So what we realistically need is a couple of strikers with 5-10 goals in um. Silva/Sasa could definitely be one of those but I think we need one more, don't think we'll get it mind ?

Yes it was a brilliant performance and no doubt some of our players are seriously talented but unfortunately we still can't score goals. This has been going on under at least 3 managers now. I've really no idea how this season will play out!

Trouble is we said the goals would come last Jan when we saw that horrible experience Chelsea lad walk the dogs - but it never happens - don’t get me wrong he did a job and was a lift for us - but we really need hungry greedy cheating nasty bastard up front who has still got the it between his teeth, trouble is they are so rare rocking horses can’t find one to rubbish on! However the performance was fab the effort was fab the lads just need to put their boots on the right feet this week!
