I'm not keen on the idea but if he does come back i'll get behind him 100%

Nuno was sacked because he had run out ideas of how we should play as other teams learned how to stifle us and counteract our tactics, hence why Nuno wanted to try a back four instead of the then predictable 3/5 at the back. Has gained more experience and new tactics? Much as I love the bloke, I doubt it.

I'm in the same camp as goggs1959 - when NES went to Spurs I thought "now he has a better squad of players, let's see what he can do" - he picked up where he left off with Wolves. Spurs when winning were not great to watch.

Another part of me thinks 'he's had time to reflect, let's see what he can do differently"

Love Nuno but I think his time is in the past. Running out of options though and it seems only Nuno is interested in the job. Lage took the club backwards, so any one coming in has a major job on their hands. The one player who could give us a lift is playing for Everton this week, thanks to Lage.

If Nuno was to revert to 3 CB's, I've said it before, Kilman can play in a back 3, Collins plays in a back 3 for Rep. Ireland and Toti played well in a back 3 when he filled in. I'm somewhat hopeful that Nuno's possible return could be a blessing?

I'm just as confused by all of this as everyone else. Shi/Sellars apparently also fall into that category and Fosun need to act. We are in danger of a French farce rapidly becoming a Greek tragedy, where's all the football knowledge gone?

Would Nuno succeed if he did return? possibly, let's face it he could hardly do worse, win 2 games and it's an improvement. We certainly need a classy football man in charge at the moment and Nuno does know the score here, so could hit the ground running. On the downside without a fresh face with fresh ideas will we just be subjected to more of the same.

No no Nuno, he had lost the plot at Wolves. Can't go backwards. Please No Nuno!

In my view it was down to lack of investment that Nuno’s team became stagnant.
Yes we spent £35 million on a young centre forward but Covid made financial deals very difficult.
With the investments made in new players recently Nuno would have a larger and younger squad.
Fosun were obviously not happy with a mid table position so Nuno got the chop.
Lage held on to the goat tails of Nuno last year but as we are all aware he decimated the squad and brought in other players.
The Spirit was broken by his style of management.
Maybe the current players will respond to Nuno’s style?
I think his time at Spurs was marred by the players not accepting him or his methods.
Just my view

I'd be happy to have nuno back although it be a big about face for fosun. Nuno could unite this squad and reconnect with the fans. He had a rough ride at the end with us for several reasons few of which were his own doing. He knows the prem, he knows his way around the club surely that's better than a cold start given our position.
