Sa 6 - Don't think he was fouled and don't think there was much more he could have done. Other than this though a quiet game as Arsenal came for a point and got 3
Marcal 7- solid defensively and put in some of the best crosses we made
Saiss 6 - Another v solid performance as he continues to perform at a level that I thought was beyond him 3 years ago!
Coady 5 - Arsenal didn't attack v often but twice he was caught out by the runs of Lacazette (sp)
Kilman 5 - not his usual dominating self
Semedo 6- A solid game with quality on the ball and good movement
Neves 6 - tried v hard but unable to open up a v hard working Arsenal defence
Dendonker 4 - not his game and was largely anonymous. Lacks the quality on the ball and in the box to make an impact when the opposition largely sit back and let us press
Podence 7 - I know lots of Wolves fans find him light weight and frustrating and he does lose the ball a lot - but he tries things and as our only creative player in a side that isn't clicking for whatever reason he is a scapegoat for some. But the key is he is trying to open up the defence with positive passes and movement. Needs help!
Jimenez 6 - Not as bad as lots of people are making out? One small moan though. For our "goal" he stood in an offside position from the free kick - he must have known he was offside as everyone was stationary - yet when the kick was taken instead of standing still - as he was offside - he moved and thus the flag went up. This isn't the first time this year we have had a goal chalked off because Jimenez seemingly doesn't know the offside law?
Trincao 3- Sorry but when the co-commentator says that you are embarrassingly useless it says it all! Light weight, slow and seemingly just not interested. This is only exacerbated by his v v poor quality on the ball despite a lovely touch with his left foot. Simply not a premier league player in my opinion although I gather some posters are of the view I know nothing about football.

RAN 6 - looked good especially going forwards. Despite Marcal's strong performance I think i'd start RAN over Marcal
Chiq 5 - Lots of energy and tried hard. My first view of him and not disappointed. He looks like a boy with no real senior football behind him but with promise - which is what he is and at £3m is how he is priced.
Fabio 5 - Again no where near as bad as many make out. He has massively improved this year and now looks similar to Chiq.

3 bit harsh on Trincao 5 for me but absolutely agree with you he isn't prem league qualty atm.
I do believe there is a very good player in him but he needs to start showing it.

Love reading your rating after every match Thefuture mate much better than that useless so called match reporter from E+S.

Remeber this time last season when many fans were calling for Nelson Semedo to be sold because he wasn't good enough.

Didn't see the match tfiog so thanks for your thoughts on the game. From the highlights I have seen your assessment seems fair. I'm guessing Neves has no intention of going to Arsenal then and Ian Wright and Piers Morgan can, of course, both do one.

Jas, quite right I just think some players take time to settle at a new club though I thought he was ok last year. Some Liverpool fans wanted Henderson out in his first season fools!

As you express everyone is entitled to their opinion and I totally agree.I go along with Rated RKO on this I think you are being exceptionally harsh on Trincao, and yet you always enthused over Traore even though he had awful games with little or no contribution to the game (is this because he's taken Traores place?) I agree Trincao is not pulling up trees but this is his fist season and he's been in and out of the team.
I don't want to appear argumentative I would like to try and understand your reasoning.

Can’t argue with any scores from TFIOG.
Although we can all see some potential from Trincao he has been used way beyond what he currently has to offer this season. His selection ahead of Traore on several occasions was baffling, I can only deduce that Bruno knew that Traore would be gone soon and was trying to build a team without him. For me when Podence and Traore linked, we were at our best.
On Semedo I agree that his defending has greatly improved this season but to be be honest going forward he never fills me with any anticipation that he’s going to create much. With Semedo, RAN and Marcel we should be getting more going forward but I agree that Marcal’s crosses were good on Thursday.
My other comment is that MGW is light years ahead of Trincao in his development and should be in our squad week in and week out! What a shame he’s not Portuguese.

Firstly, I have checked and the commentator actually said “ridiculously bad” not “embarrassingly useless” apologies
I gave him a 3 though to demonstrate he was worse than Dendonker who I gave 4 to as he was worse than the players I gave a 5 to etc all the way up to Podence our best player who I gave a 7 to.
I agree we all have biases and whilst an awful lot of Wolves fans don’t like Podence I do. I like Podence because he is a player who take risks, who tries to make things happen, doesn’t hide and pushes the envelope
