Defensively frail, no urgency getting the ball forward to Trincao/ Adama, Marcal and Saiss are liabilities. Absolutely abysmal first half, some players need a bit of tough love!

Brentford deserve to be 2 goals up at this moment in time.

Marcal got punished and rightly so but I don't see what Saiss has done wrong seeing it was Kilman who made the mistake leading to the 2nd goal.

Jiminez trying to showboat, marcel way off Mark, seiss losing it kilman not doing the basics, I'm going for 3-2 now.

Jas m kilman tried dragging ball back but wheres VAR on the build up? Tony handled in controlling the bounce up to go on and pass in. Seiss seems to have lost it, the wasted shot from 20 odd yards demonstrated that.

Jas- He just let's Mbeumo walk around the back of him for the goal?! He has no idea where he is?! Schoolboy defending.

A kick up the a*s more like Golden. Having said that the frailties you mention have been evident for some time now and have still not been addressed by the club.

Forget my 3-2, we've open at the back now.

Shocking performance so far from the majority of the team still time, next goal if not for us game over.

Brentford 10 men. Let's push on now.

However the fact that, had Kilman completed the tackle, Saiss (who had to take on Toney as well as watch Mbewno) wouldn't have been in that position.

Jas- I'm afraid you're mistaken. Coady was the next man to Toney after Kilman, Saiss literally had only one job and that was to be goal side of Mbeumo.

Brentford are a disgrace to fair honest football. Even if we are all over the place. What a spoilt game.

Golden Boy you may be right but to apportion no blame whatsoever to either Kilman for the poor tackle is shocking. It seems you want a scapegoat and Saiss is it.

Jas- of course Kilman's tackle was poor, but that's not the point I was making. Picking your man up in the box is the first rule of a defender. Saiss didn't do this then had a ridiculous effort from 25 yards hit Row Z. This may have been the reason he was hooked at half time and not Kilman. Perhaps Bruno thought he deserved to be the scapegoat for his first half performance.

Brentford time wasting tatics were disgraceful however we only have ourselves to blame. Most people thought and myself included thought we would steam roller the promoted side, Brentford have been the hardest team we have played yet.

Not good enough all over the pitch. Same old same old, lots of possession but their keepers going home with a clean kit AGAIN!
Don't want to keep coming back to it but Ajer was by FAR the best defender on the pitch today, his tackle agaisnt Hwang to save a goal was IMMENSE! He cost Brentford an initial fee of £13.5m yet we couldn't find ANY defenders to improve the squad with (supposedly) budget not being the problem?!
We must improve and quick else Lages going to be in for a rough ride!

100% with you BullysBoy ll. I've personally never rated Kilman and I think that either Mosquera or Boly, maybe even both will start next week. To have that much possession at home against a newly promoted team but have ZERO shots on target is a disgrace. I wouldn't mind if we had peppered their goal and lost due to an outstanding man of the match performance from their keeper like the Man Utd game.

As for Brentford, they had a plan which they executed to perfection but that Pontus Jansson is a dirty player. I remember him at Leeds always time wasting.

It looks to me like the running around and high pressure shown in the first couple of games has been replaced by a less frenetic pace. Passes going astray no bite in the last third. Marcel gave an unnecessary penalty away and a mistake by Kilnan led to the second goal. Brentford are no mugs but Wolves need to get a grip defensively.

One step forward then 2 steps back. same old Wolves. bad day at the office and deserve nothing.
