Hi All, as you know, I don’t post very often, but I do follow on here religiously! I’ve got to say, I think we’re being a little pessimistic. Having watched the last two games (results aside) I think the players were more of a unit. If I’m honest, I think Costa’s red was harsh (but I am a fan of Diego), and Semedo was doing what any beaten defender would do, wasn’t a goal scoring opportunity, think he was expecting a yellow!
All of that aside, there has been some great periods of play, decent defending and even two goals in a single game!
The team clearly lack confidence, but I think the core is there, slow Traore looks really positive as Bueno does, great passes by both and of course Neves. What a player. Last game was tight and with 11, we’d probably have taken the 3 points! Against a team who demolished Chelsea the weekend before.
The table is tight, two wins and we’re the same points as Liverpool! It’s a long season, I have faith in our boys and think there’ll be some great things to come.
My grandad always said, Wolves either have a great start or a great end to the season; but never both. That’s 80 years of wolves experience! Lol.
So, here’s to a great end of the season, there’s no chance we’re getting relegated!

In recent games, Davis has worked to get most of the players trying.
Sadly we are held back by:
1. Not enough of the "right" players (thanks to Sellars)
No fighters
No goals
No heart
2. Several players not committed
3."Pack Culture" gone missing
4. No team Leadership (Neves by own admission, doesn't talk up)
5. Poor senior management
Friday will be interesting. I would hope we get a better understanding of what (if any) changes in structure are coming in.

Whats clear2see is that kilman isn't half the player without coady and collins is one of the worst iv seen here for a long time.jonny is washed up and semedo never impresses much

That's quite true Rancid but personally I'll take a strong finish to the season all day long. Less nail biting whilst building momentum ready to start the next one. Of course, what would be better is a strong season throughout.

I see several of the team singing Lopetegui's praises so let's hope they all get inspired to perform for him but what's really been lacking on the pitch is organisation, discipline and concentration, the talent is there. All the primary functions of the Coach/Manager once a squad is built, I suppose.

Can't disagree Rugeley, the decision making and the lack of communication from the 'top' has been shocking. Their influence has severely affected the club of late, no doubt.

Have to agree Buxwolf, Oilman looks very average without Coadys influence. Talked about as a possible England centre back not any more. Very dubious whether Collins was worth 20 mill. Whoever sanctioned that sort of money has no idea about the game. Same goes for 28 mill.spent on Semedo after selling Docherty to Spurs 10 mill . At least Doc. could head a ball. Every far post cross is a potential goal with Semedo unable to defend. Oh for the days of Coady, Boly and Saiss. I know Jonny has been injured but mistake player mind you doesn't help playing him on the right. Villa got a new Coach in very quick so they will start picking up points now. Can't see where next points are coming from.

Do't be too disheartened Ray only 1 league game before the break and if we lose we lose. new boss has a month to get across his message to the remaining squad which a number of ex pros agree it should work in our favour.
They are already working on new players (they are actually communicating with the fans for a change)
I am not a Collins fan either but having watched him closely he is so like Kilman, too alike in fact so we need a Coady type CB asap.
You know I am even coming round to having the Doc back and considering I am not a fan of his that is saying something! As someone already pointed out he can head the ball!

Agree with all above, even Bux X. kilman collins not gelling and semedo always a risk, jonnies heart gone. Phil 2023 has to bring us something fresh when you consider our sick list but we desperately need some new faces back and front and hopefully a new desire and confident team unity. Arsenal may be a damage limitation game but who'd have forest doing Liverpool away? It's a funny goal game as greavsie would say.

Funny old game I meant of course. Let's not forget Wednesday, be interesting what Davis does team wise and Leeds not easy tie, maybe we'll see the juniors have some fun and hope well getting something sat. No matter what COYW

Yes Abbey we get a shock result against the arsenal spirits will be through the roof.
We got Leeds first though in the carabao cup a win will obviously give the team confidence going into the arsenal game.

Hearing very good reports on Dion Sanderson at Birmingham.

I keep forgetting sanderson phil, your blue boys like him then?. cundle started for Swansea but was taken off early I think, he's another for the future I reckon.

BartonWolf. Yes how we could do with Doc back as he was also so in tune with Traore.
As for Coady -being what I can only call as being rude rude to him in pre-season and then help to move him on! His voice was worth almost a player and he played with a heart of gold just like Kenny Hibbitt.

Yes Abbey the one bluenose rates him very highly.
Also my bro and I speaking to a local friend he a brummie but has lived by us for years.
He was in a pub in wednesfield (where dion grew up,over the road from my brother) and dion Sanderson was in there.
He said that the blues manager has the whole team happy and playing together and that he's loving it playing for Birmingham.

07 Nov 2022 16:02:28
Thats the difference Phil, the whole team happy. Something we don't appear to have at the mo. Nunes and Guedes wondering what they're doing here, Adama not knowing what's going on, jonny not into it. Samedo going through motion, kilman looking lost, collins yet to really fit in, even Sa dosnt seem his normal self. Camaraderie is missing. If lopetegui can gain the confidence and bond these individuals into the pack mentality we'll be OK.

I'd prefer,not to wait till 2023,
Would like us to start, with Leeds win then beat arsenal, what a boost for the fans if we can, especially as we expect incomings, anythin can happen, and it usually, does,we definitely due a bit of luck,
If we get a winner,I don't care if they score it with their arse,??
