John textor puts a 400 million offer on the table to fosun!

Would that be £400M that he hasn't got.

Apparently it was 100 million in money plus 310 million in shares in his company, Fosun not interested in the shares and only want a straight sale. He’s now looking at championship clubs, he could wait until next season when we are one and put another offer in
Personally I wouldn’t be bothered if Jack the Ripper came in to buy us as long as it got the parasites fosun out

One offer, even if potentially unacceptable, can bring another offer out of the woodwork. This is beginning to make sense, as it was reported that an 11-person delegation from Fosun travelled from China for the Burnley match. No disrespect to the Clarets, but there must be some other, and strategic, reason for the visit!

Not sure, apart from the Uefa cock up at Palace, he's established that club well investing in the academy. Other clubs like Botafogo and RWDM Brussels have moved forward. That said all I know about him is from Wikipedia.

I'd much rather have Textor with his proven ability to bring success than Fosun. Ask yourself this question. Would you rather be in Wolves' position or Palaces?

Don’t know a lot about him but isn’t he in debt and didn’t Lyon nearly get relegated last year because of failure to pay transfer fees or something or other like that?

Textor's model is the same as Grant's at Man Utd, borrow the money and pay it back with dividend money, only difference is Man Utd is a global institution and Botafoga etc aren't, keep well away. Also, "careful what you wish for", Fosun are a sound business even if they lack great knowledge of football, we don't want to fall into similar ownership that has appeared in recent years at Birmingham, Sheffield etc. Finally VP seems to have lost his way but some of the muppets I've seen linked to the post will be a backward step. As Munetsi said "we're in this together, players, manager and fans", get behind the team COYW

I agree on all point Jako.
We have 6 new players with now premier league experience and lost 4 games by a goal.
Not exactly end of GON tenure form. They well in parts Sunday didn't take their chances and let 3 soft goals in.
I would return to a back 5 not sure what team I would players I would choose though.
Johnstone
Jackson Doc Krejci Toti Bueno
Andre Gomes Bellagarde (Or Munetsi)
R Gomes (as he has pace) Larsen

I kind of agree Madman, it may just be that there's an element of luck/trial and error needed in finding the players that can gel together, only problem being that time could run out. If I recall Micks last days, we were losing games by the odd goal for much of the Autumn, and then the flood gates opened against Albion of all teams.

I agree Madman, we were having worse results with GON, who of course had some star players at his disposal. In spite of a complete lack of confidence, we're not exactly being thrashed every game. But the wins have to come somehow or else it's very bleak.

Cheers chaps, just thought Sunday was a bit embarrassing about "not being fit to wear the shirt".
Believe me I'm frustrated like every other fan. But giving abuse to new players, our best players and Vitor and his team isn't the way forward.
We have to stick together and get some points on the board pre January that's the situation.
Its a modern football phenomenon that sacking the manager is the go to for every issue.
I think this is foolish during most games we have seen Wolves press and be successful with the chances created so far this season.
We need clean sheets and to pick points up and I think with the fans and everyone behind Vitor and the team we can do it.
ODCL
PS I don't think Fosun should get away lightly but I do think its important to remember what they have done for our club even when the footballing landscape changed with PSR rules, FFP and the impact of Covid.
There intentions were pure and they followed through with massive investment and changing the way we were seen. It had been 40 years in the wilderness.
In the covid season we were 5 points off champions league and were robbed of 15 points by VAR. I don't get excited by the footy now it is a fix and that season proved it for me.
Also this summer the club spent £100m+ its not like they have sold every asset and stripped the club. Fosun want Wolverhampton Wanderers to generate its own revenue by various means which means we can invest in the club and move forwards.
We should be careful what we wish for they have only just put this director of football in who has worked with Vitor. The summer transfer window was crazy as the big clubs made a lot more moves than anyone expected. The club also kept Andre, Larsen, Hwang and Johnstone. I'm sure there would have been offers for Agbadou, Gomes and others aswell.

I remember Mick as well Arddunby we shouldn't have sacked him as he still had the squad with him after that game.
But after Mick went we lost 4 games by a goal and drew 4 games.
If we had won those 4 games we would stayed up.
Literally 12 points needed from 13 games I would have fancied Mick getting us that.

Interesting that you see keeping Hwang as a positive, Madman.
