Wolves looking to sign Rotherham striker Danny Ward but face competition from Birmingham for his signature.

05 Jun 2016 21:06:35
Crap goal record, no thanks.

06 Jun 2016 07:00:14
Cheaper version of Joe Mason.

06 Jun 2016 09:37:18
Cheap AND crap? Could be coming our way then!

06 Jun 2016 11:07:49
Another sign of Therwell's and KJ being totally incompitent at their jobs.

06 Jun 2016 11:36:08
It's just a rumour Spanish, why have a go at the manager and thelwell?

06 Jun 2016 12:08:38
He is having a go because they have failed at just about everything they have done
So list their successes Bham, won't take long
Then list their failures . . .

Anymore news on the Chinese Consortium Bhamwolf.

06 Jun 2016 13:05:55
More to the point what is happening with the talks currently being held?
That is what Moxey stated or something like that.

06 Jun 2016 13:33:57
For me there's been 2 successful seasons and 1 unsuccessful under KJ. That is unquestionable surely? To break the all time record of a league running for over a century and then miss out on the play-offs on goal difference the following season when in reality we all thought we'd finish mid-table is a successful campaign.

They have hugely failed this season but with major mitigating circumstances, injuries above and beyond the typical season combined with off field turmoil. Easy to forget the shambles of a club we were before KJ took over.

Major improvement needed next season without doubt but that will be inevitable if we can get our injured players fit and add a few players.

06 Jun 2016 16:07:20
What you say is true enough, Just Smith. 3 years ago we were thinking - how long are we going to be in this division? We were told it's a hard one to get out of but we did, and then some.

It's not a case of whether Kenny has done a good job or not. Take Real Madrid. They change manager almost every season. Not necessarily because managers are poor, but because they want to move forward with new ideas and new impetus. On the other hand, Arsenal fans have wanted the back of Wenger for 10 years or more and they finish 2nd in the PL! I wouldn't get rid of Kenny as a reaction to one bad season. But is he the right manager for us given the budget and players? Much as I think he's done a good job overall, I have my doubts whether he can take us further.

06 Jun 2016 16:48:35
Also rumours linking us to Charlie Mulgrew, as well as Tim Spiers reporting we have offered £2.3m for Idrissa Sylla, who looks like a useful acquisition. Great in the air, and decent on the ball as well, with very good finishing abilities. Perfect to partner Dicko!

06 Jun 2016 17:46:27
Idrissa Sylla? The way some Wolves fans have knocked him you would think we were trying to sign Cilla Black.

06 Jun 2016 20:38:17
If kj was to sign Messi fans would moan cause it be a kj signing -last season wascrap but that's just it -LAST SEASON - time move on if this season crap also then complain away but we ain't started yet and this forum like every other about wolves like reading the apocalypse -we not smallheath fc ( reliance on journey men or nobodys - yes know they fin above us but they not have serious injurys to crucial first teamers) or Leeds a laughing stock of a club never knowing who manager is week to week - we wolves and even in crap season better than most teams only crap tatics or wrong choice team let us down hense boring playing style so come on folks let's cheer up we may not have budget of madrid to spend on tfs or sign household big names but what we do do is stick together good or bad hence 20,000 averge crowd in season just had.

06 Jun 2016 22:01:52
No yamyamrob, we would moan because jacket would play him as left back.

05 Jun 2016 13:51:10
Moxey showed a Chinese consortium around molineux yesterday.

05 Jun 2016 14:51:36
i hope its not bullsxxx throw a party when beetroot face heads back up the a41.

05 Jun 2016 14:51:49
I definitely did not see his car yesterday or any luxury cars parked up. are you sure your not making this up?

05 Jun 2016 15:18:08
Bhamwolf can you expand a little, like how you know and so on please.

05 Jun 2016 15:19:16
Positive.

05 Jun 2016 16:15:00
Did they drop off his Chow Mein or something?

05 Jun 2016 21:07:26
A few owners of Chinese restaurants had been speaking about a rumour that one bloke could eat so much so they got together to come and have a look.

06 Jun 2016 11:09:28
Geewolf how did you miss this?

06 Jun 2016 13:23:18
Are these the the same chinese who snuck into the South Bank a few months ago that most people apparently failed to spot.

06 Jun 2016 14:18:43
I did see some of the wedding guests but no Chinese group I think this was on Friday. I definitely did not see no Chinese group and by the way I don't think moxey would be showing them around Molineux when there is a wedding if he wants to keep it confidential.

05 Jun 2016 08:48:10
This looks quite worrying when the player's family are saying these sorts of things. This is what happened with Afobe, his mum and dad were telling us Months before he went that he would be leaving.

06 Jun 2016 11:12:01
Stu if we get 7+M for him take it he may not be the finished artical yet but he isn't going to be our saviour either. Very ordinary player in my opinion.

05 Jun 2016 09:52:25
iorfa's father says his son would prefer a move to westham, but we want at least 7 million. they allegedly tried in jan but were turned down, looks like he's off then,

05 Jun 2016 11:43:17
£7m for Iorfa is way out, try £4 million max. Same goes for Hause. If you really think they will get £11-£14m for both (as advertised) , you have serious misgivings. Hats off if they do but I seriously doubt it considering Premiership clubs won't go beyond the £4m mark for either.

05 Jun 2016 12:20:10
Not sure why people get so worried about what Wolves might receive for selling Iorfa or Hause - If they got rid of the 10 players that don't even get into the first team, this would bring in £4million a year alone (from wages saved) . The '2 players for every position' Jackett just loves to spout off about irritates me like you wouldn't believe - It just ends up making the club look stupid as he starts to loan them all out again when they don't even work. Selling the best players isn't the answer, getting rid of the rubbish who don't play, is. It's quality, not quantity, you pillock.

05 Jun 2016 14:13:12
He still plays them out of position even then.

05 Jun 2016 18:44:04
KJ then gets the players he wants, wolves win and he becomes the messiah again until the next defeat and he reverts to being a pillock. Then we repeat the cycle! Oh to be a football manager! I'll stick to managing on Championship Manager, it's far easier 😂😂😂😂.

05 Jun 2016 19:28:15
The point is, why would any manager want 11 reserve team players (unless he's schizophrenic) ? Doesn't keeping two average teams for no reason whatsoever only make you the worst manager in history? What does Jackett expect, - I seem to remember the great Liverpool team of the 70's only using 13 outfield players through their title winning season and has been proved time and time again that less is more (in terms of team spirit) . You can't even use the excuse about injuries, either, with emergency loans now, etc.
Imagine the team Jackett could create if he kept to having 18 outfield players maximum and the quality he could bring in with the £10 million a year salary saving. You could think about a bigger squad after promotion and the big money comes in. IT'S SO BLOODY OBVIOUS, ISN'T IT?

05 Jun 2016 19:59:55
I could give you 15 players right now which you could chop off the wage bill and you wouldn't even notice the difference on the pitch. Work out the maths on a basis that each player is on £10K a week - that's an annual budget of over £7 million! A Rowett or McCarthy type manager would be in his element with that sort of money coming in. Jackett, on the other hand, will do his best next year in getting us relegated by going with his two average sides instead of one idea.

05 Jun 2016 22:11:09
Your maths are way off!
