Doherty has signed a new 3 year deal. Now over to Batth

TDW

1.) Great news, now just waiting for some Sandwell town person to hit the disagree button.

2.) I disagree, wolves can't afford a 3 yr deal---- have you seen your latest accounts---- my word

3.) Could be worse, could have just spent 6m on Anichebe and alienated your best centre forward.

4.) Our owner says he will fund us through these lean days. Just because we made a loss doesn't mean we're insolvent. Only means we are not as rich as before when we were a Premier team.

Now all those who moan about us not spending money, maybe it is clear now why this is.

5.) Meanwhile your too embarrassed to mention who you support?

WILKO

6.) Reference our accounts; 13pts from 5 games. A little better than zero.

7.) I haven't seen our latest accounts but then again neither have you. So I would just worry about your own club and how many points you will get relegated with rather than ours.

Lots of rumours flying around at the moment. But I'm going to jump the gun anyway. If robin li has taken over ac Milan too. Does this then mean that wolves would not be allowed to compete against ac Milan in Europe? I heard that it's against Fifa and uefa rules for two teams with the same owner to compete. This would then surely mean that we would become ac milans feeder team?

TDW

1.) 05 Jul 2016 14:26:46
Worry about that if we get to that level.

2.) 05 Jul 2016 14:35:57
You won't have to worry because its not going to happen. Then we will have a manager that won't want to be there no new signings and a definite relegation battle on. because wem cack ay we.

3.) 05 Jul 2016 14:55:44
Staffswolf, lol yo ay half funny!
I reckon yo'm a baggies fan in disguise!

4.) 05 Jul 2016 15:01:35
Tdw what planet you on?
Is that all you can think about?

5.) 05 Jul 2016 15:12:04
Excuse me? . The planet where the sun doesn't shine out of everyone's backside. The planet where you don't see billion dollar buyer in the headlines then wet your little pants. You have to take the Rosie's off son! If mr li has bought Milan what does he want with a club like wolves a club not even half the size. Is that a sufficient enough answer for you mr derbywolf?

6.) 05 Jul 2016 15:26:57
StaffsWolf I love it!
Failure of the highest order the pubs will make a packet with wolves fans drowning their sorrows
Going to go buy a chain of bars in wolvo and make a packet
Thanks staffs for the tip.

7.) 05 Jul 2016 15:42:46
Karlis i'm as far from them in tesco bags as you can be just a realist. This is a no go and even if it does happen who says he's going to plough millions in? Just because he's got some coin doesn't mean he wants to spend it all. Plus nobody really knows if its ding lei rob li or chun li so I can't see why so many people are raving about something that's not going to happen by the phantom rich chinese man 😀.

8.) 05 Jul 2016 15:52:25
Staffswolf, you're a pessimist. You're already making assumptions of Mr Li's intentions even trough all evidence so far has suggested he's willing to invest. Sky News falsely reported it as being Ding Lei because of the rumours that circulated around Christmas time.

9.) 05 Jul 2016 16:53:22
TDW you just carry on wondering about nothing. Who cars if we can play Milan at this point in time?

10.) 05 Jul 2016 17:20:22
What a lovely problem, we won't be able to draw AC Milan in the Champions league 😃.

11.) 05 Jul 2016 18:30:15
It's not wondering though is it the rules state that it's not allowed. If li owns Milan and he owns wolves that means we won't ever be more than a mid table prem club. Because Europe would most likely be a conflict of interests with Milan. If the deal goes through he will have to either find a way around it or we will become a feeder club to Milan. Simple as that, no wondering about it. Now can you comprehend that?

12.) 05 Jul 2016 19:41:37
If he's an investor as part of a consortium in either both or one, then I think that's how you get around it. Only like floating clubs and me buying shares in more than one club across UEFA (different if FA only) . As long as I don't own 50% of the shares in both clubs or have a controlling say in hiring and firing of the majority of directorys in both clubs, then I believe its ok. So the devil is in the detail.

Chris Wood declines contract and its all the boards fault? Did you not learn anything during our demise? A few seasons ago we would of given into his demands and he would now be sitting in the 'bomb squad' We didn't get him and now we must move on. I'd like any of the following Sam Baldock or Jay Emmanuel-Thomas and Max Clayton for the future. If we don't sign anyone during the window, expect loans to buy like we did last season.

TDW

1.) Penny pinching-we cannot even compete with the likes f Bournemouth. The supposed offer to Leicester is insulting to Leicester

2.) Bournemouth don't have millions of £ worth of Mick's dross hanging around draining over 100k per week from the club in wages.

3.) 14 Aug 2014 11:54:59
Well said ac!

We shouldn't be writing Ismail and Forde off. Look at a certain Sam Vokes, We all thought he wasn't good enough but he's now going to be a premier league striker. I don't think that either of them are good enough right now. But with a few seasons out on loan they could be ready. let's not forget their both under 21.

TDW

1.) No ones written off Ismail, fords is a lost cause

WILKO

2.) 01 Jul 2014 15:16:46
We can't just keep every player we've ever signed just in case he turns out to be a star. With players you win some and you lose some. Hopefully a good manager can maximise the former.

3.) Not saying we should keep every player we sign but these two are both only 20!

18 Jun 2014 17:38:42
This is no word of a lie. Sandwell are apparently close to signing Lescott!

TDW

1.) Wouldn't surprise me. Kind of player they need if they intend to stay up.

2.) I hope he's awful for them.

3.) Hull are still interested in lescott - let's hope hull, rather than 'that lot', do get him as they may then drop their interest in Maguire!

4.) Reported to have had medical with WBA today

5.) Done deal. sad day for a wolves hero

6.) Wolves poll of the day: Do Wolves fans believe Joleon Lescott is a traitor and has and would not be welcome back in any way shape or form to Molineux?

YES: 100%
NO: 0%

7.) First of all he's a villa fan not a wolves fan, second of all he's an aging player that needs to go to a lesser club if he wants to play first team football. Therefore, he goes to sandwell

8.) Ludicrous poll. get a grip, so he's gone to west brom, big deal! . he was a wolves player who gave his all while here. To call him a traitor is personic and shows you for the person you are!

9.) 23 Jun 2014 11:28:03
Lescott is ancient history for us. Forget him - I bet few outside of Wolves even remember he came from us in the first place.

Tough opening 5 games. Norwich, Rotherham, Fulham, Cardiff & Blackburn. A more suspicious man would say facing all 3 of the relegated teams in the first 4 games is a conspiracy against Wolves lol. Whilst I'm quite sure its going to be a tough first 5 games. I can't even hazard a guess how many points we will get from those 5. Memories of seasons past still leave me with a hint of doom when I look at those 5. The most important thing is that we don't go into meltdown as fans if those 5 don't go our way. And its also just as important that we don't go delirious if they do go our way. Its a marathon until 02/05/2015 not a sprint. And we as fans need to stay with Kenny and the lads every stride of the way. So come on you WOLVES!

"The real glory is being knocked to your knees and then coming back. That's real glory. that's the essence of it."

TDW

1.) Difficult games agreed but there will not be many easy games stepping up a league.

Critically though you must remember there are three teams in the Championship because they were crap last year, and there are three teams from League 1 because they were brilliant last year.

These six teams together with the other 18 teams are in the league they deserve to be in based on performance.

in my opinion seasons are settled at Easter and ours looks good as does our run in.

2.) I'm glad about our first few games, I think it will be better for us to play the favourites for the league first when we will be more of a surprise package and they'll still be bedding in their probably very different starting 11 (to what they had last year)

3.) Bring it on, I say. I don't think any of these teams will want to play a team scoring over 100 points last season.

4.) Just be happy we are playing these teams, we should be in premier playing your man. Utd's if the club had been run right like it is now WOLFY

He signed for them in Jan.He's done quite well for them 13 goals in 27 appearances, But was bought as a talisman to give the ball to Rhodes. can't see us prizing him away from them for a decent fee so next please.
