According to Tim Spiers, AC Milan have confirmed a Chinese consortium, thought to be lead by Robin Li, is to buy a 70% stake in the club.

This is more or less true. However, Li wants to outright buy Wolves.

You need to remember this blokes wealth - around £10billion. At 2 percent interest (if my maths are correct) that's around £200 million a year interest! £30 million for us is small change. It also gives him free advertising and a UK base to promote/ expand his internet empire. Win, win.

{Ed001's Note - he does not have £10bn in a bank account accruing interest. His wealth is the total value of his assets, including houses, cars, businesses. It is not the cash he has.}

3.) 05 Jul 2016 13:16:26
Fair do's Mr Ed. He won't be keeping much in cash at low interest rates. But probably the majority of his wealth is in higher income-producing assets than cash would yield.

I've always had great faith in the potential at Wolves. Sleeping giant and all that. Cheap as chips to Robin Li, when internet businesses such as Whaps App (making no profits) get sold to Facebook for 15 billion dollars!

Just remember Dim Tim quotes word for word what we on Wolvesblog.com and wolves rumours have been posting.
Worst newspaper coverage from Express and lie in my 55 years watching Wolves.
He should fall on his sword too, he's a joke.

Abyss I wrote last week that the Milan takeover was a consortium but not led by Robin Li but another bisiness associate. Mr Li will purly be one of 6 involved and I umderstand he is not the main lead in the process. I just wish Moxey would stop taking so many coffee and cake breaks and get our sale sorted.

Guillem Balague, a journalist for Sky Sports continues to be insistent of the fact that Robin Li and Julen Lopetegui are nearing an owner/ managerial take over.

where does it state this?

2.) 04 Jul 2016 13:22:19
There are so many individuals on here who have "contacts" or "sources" I sometimes wonder why they are posting because the vast majority will already know what is going on --- apart from me!

3.) 04 Jul 2016 13:26:29
on his twitter feed.

4.) 04 Jul 2016 13:28:00
just tweeted him and he is adamant this is happening the only thing that can stop it is Morgan throwing his teddy out the pram and trying to get back at us, but that ain't going to happen were getting new owners by the end of the week.

5.) 04 Jul 2016 13:34:48
It's on Guillem Balague's twitter.

6.) 04 Jul 2016 13:34:53
On his Twitter Guillem Balague.

7.) 04 Jul 2016 13:38:06
Guillem Balague is Twitter mad. Can someone else confirm it, too, please.

8.) 04 Jul 2016 21:28:45
Just read this on sky sports website

Looks to me like they are just googling what is already being said here and copy and pasting it. No real journalism. Still going on about Ding Lei from last December.

that is as it stands right now.

About the £20m - £30m ensured investment. it was likely a standard that was preset by Morgan, Fosum likely enquired and in a breath ticked that box. it wouldn't be wise for them to say they have £100m to blow on players. because clubs would demand more money for players. Stop being so pessimistic.

When do wolves get back from Ireland? Is it late tomorrow evening?

Abyss

1.) 21 Jul 2016 09:39:17
Apparently they're only bringing the U21's back the rest are being dumped in the Irish sea.

2.) 21 Jul 2016 09:49:27
Apart from Iorfa Ikeme and Graham 👍.

Zyro has retweeted a tweet that clearly supports the rumours that have been circulating. I'd say it's almost confirmation, check it out.

You can't provide any evidence to suggest so, you merely state that it's off, as if you have any inside information to begin with. You're a liar. Back under your rock.

Real-info, you also said Jackett would be out of a job today in the light of the announcement of the takeover. Either your source is useless or you're a liar.

Ohhh ok, so if no announcement is made tomorrow then the second consortium has their chance. So even if there isn't an announcement of some sort tomorrow, your point still won't be disproved. could be weeks until anything is finalised.

Sorry Paul, I think I'm just blind. I can't seem to find any posts by him that say anything about a press conference or announcement tomorrow! xD.

Staffswolf, you're a pessimist. You're already making assumptions of Mr Li's intentions even trough all evidence so far has suggested he's willing to invest. Sky News falsely reported it as being Ding Lei because of the rumours that circulated around Christmas time.
