Sir Jack, this is for you?! Yes, I'm sure he'd Iove being sold to the Chinese. He spent the entire duration of his life rejecting any offer from abroad, I hardly think he'd embrace this idea. He's more likely turning in his grave, swearing.

U have to move with the times wavidsmith, football whether u like it or not is all about money. If u haven't got it and aren't willin to spend u stagnate! We are now about to be one of the wealthiest teams in football. And I'm sure Sir Jack would rather see us in a position of gainin success than just existing. Happy Black Country Day. Its Happening 👍👍👍.

Looks a happy chappy if not slightly hungry.
He's got 2 Chinese businessmen with him.

You don't seem to realise Sir Jack would never have sold out to them. He could have done (probably the same Chinese consortium) when he sold it to Morgan for a tenner. He would rather Wolves retain it's heritage and stadium, now Molineux will probably end up a thing of the past after the new stadium is built, also.

Obviously I think differently about the takeover but to think he would be raising a glass to it all is completely wrong.

Oh my life. I think it's a little disrespectful people having an opinion on what Sir Jack would or would not be thinking about the takeover. Let's be honest only he would know how he would feel about it. I'm fed up with seeing people say "he would be turning in his grave". Totally disrespectful, and bang out of order.

Re wavidsmith and SJH.

I think SJH was great, him, his generation, generations before him achieved a modern world that is led by British values. If it's Robin Li who is buying, we are getting an owner who was educated in America and worked with big American Companies, even co-chaired a UN commission into IT, is an innovator and entrepreneur but with very high standards and big ambitions, and so to some extent has those high Brit values SJH had and believed in.

It appears he wants us because our town and clubs heritage and identity fit his agenda perfectly, so it will be really us, and it seems he intends to not only take us back to the top in England, but into Europe, and inevitably, with support in China too. So he's helping us to take our very Brit identity and values into both Europe and China, which will just make the World even more Brit and in SJH's image.

And as one of the top IT business people in the World, him being closely associated with Wolverhampton, and the extra money about the place due to us being heavily invested in (and I'd guess in due time heavily supported too) offers a fantastic opportunity for Wolves to regenerate, out of the ruins of the Industrial Revolution we originally birthed and that helped make this Country but that we were subsequently left to rot in, into the next step, the IT revolution, which is the future. It could be the making of Wolverhampton and for its young people and their kids and so on, like SJH could only dream of, back to being Queen of the Black Country.

In my honest opinion, considering the realities of the World we live in, SJH would be very pleased with Robin Li. because don't forget, the West has no real money, the West went bust in 2008 and only stayed financially liquid and breathing because China bought it's debt (with all the money we've been giving them for decades to do our manufacturing) . It's not that the future is Chinese, the present already is, if we're not on this Chinese football bandwagon the chances are we'd be run over by it.
