Dicko in 1st team squad for tomorrow.

Is that confirmed? I just noticed that he's not in today's U23 squad.

I'd price Dicko at £10m easy so it's like we are getting a new big money signing

Soon he'll be terrorising defences again, hoping he's fit enough for tmrw.

Rhodes move broken down, talking to Norwich. Find it hard to believe a company worth £50billion won't pay certain clauses. What a joke.

3.) 26 Aug 2016 12:29:56
Dicko in neither squad he's only just played 65 mins he's no where near first team football.

4.) 26 Aug 2016 12:38:13
What clauses?

5.) 26 Aug 2016 13:06:12
sorry, that must have sounded like I was ITK, but I read it on Twitter so could be garbage. I read it was about his wages increasing after 25 games and a discrepancy with the fee after loan.

6.) 26 Aug 2016 13:06:18
Fosun is a business Wavidsmith and they'll be running Wolves as a business. I believe and I assume that they do to that there are far better business propositions out there than a throw back target man like Rhodes. There will be another left field signing like Bodvarsson in my view rather than any of the 'names' being bandied about.

7.) 26 Aug 2016 13:26:44
Just cause we got billions in the bank it don't mean we should just throw money around aka Newcastle style of u remember the press conference when fosun took over Jeff said money would be spent wisely -so if that means we get loans and only pay wages so be it rather that than like villa buy players then if promoted got buy again but still have previous bought players on wage bill thus end up with players u don't want so have try sell 1st - from what I can see only reason British players not being bought in abundance is they cost too much ( over inflated prices) we want value for money not just a signing for sale making one.

8.) 26 Aug 2016 13:48:32
Twitter is 95% bull, only a couple of decent sources on there, nobody knows anything about us even interested in rhodes let alone discussing terms!

9.) 26 Aug 2016 14:09:08
Doesn't matter what you say, there are few better goal scorers than Rhodes. And at £10 million for a guy who is still only 26, makes perfect sense. If you want the best, you have to be prepared to pay for it.

Also, Rhodes does suit counter attacking football and doesn't just stand there like a dead weight. If you're after that, go buy Chris Martin.

10.) 26 Aug 2016 15:53:59
Got to agree Wavidsmith, Rhodes is the guy for this league. Come on Big Jeff anybody with an ounce of football knowledge will tell you to get him in.

11.) 26 Aug 2016 16:31:32
How do you even know Rhodes wants to sign for us?

How do you know anything about any of the factors involved?

As someone on here said recently, it isn't like buying a Mars Bar from a shop.

Get a grip.

12.) 26 Aug 2016 16:43:08
Guys I know Rhodes would be great for us but think about it like this:
1. Rhodes has actually not yet been tested in the premier league ( I believe) .
2. So unless everyone is 100% sure we're going to get promoted this season, he won't come as he wants to prove his worth in the premier league.
3. Also I thought Zenga was going for the people that no one had heard of.

13.) 26 Aug 2016 17:03:46
What a load of nonsense! Get real fella! We wil not spend big just yet. Keep the faith, Fosun knows what they are doing.

14.) 26 Aug 2016 17:18:21
Surely British players / players already with UK clubs aren't as expensive to Fosun as they seem to us, because the £ crashed at Brexit. Did it recover? If not or not much, then Fosun's money is originally probably in Dollars, buys a lot more Sterling these days so players at British clubs cheaper in real terms.

Did the Euro currency also crash against Dollar because of Brexit?

15.) 26 Aug 2016 18:26:17
Nothing to with brexit or the value of the pound Ulf. It simply comes down to the fact FOSUN can get more bang for their buck by buying abroad than in the over-inflated, bloated British market.

16.) 26 Aug 2016 19:11:08
I agree, but just wondered if the drop in Sterling value might have deflated UK prices in real terms and so balanced it out a bit. But would only work if Euro hadn't dropped against Dollar too, don't know if it did or not.

17.) 27 Aug 2016 08:09:19
No it didn't Ulf.

Be happy with that, people seem to forget we had Grant Holt making his debut at Blues last season.

Wouldn't be disappointed at all by that providing the quality starts arriving soon (which I think it will) in my opinion he's been a slightly above average player for us in a very average team.

Not sure why people are worried about Mendes's intentions regarding players coming here, performing and being sold on. isn't that already happening at every club including ours? ie: Afobe.
