murphy no chance leeds now linked to him he won't choose us over blackburn or leeds.
ricketts if we don't tie that deal up soon it will be the same as murphy and we will lose out

how times have changed we struggle to get anyone in because we are in league 1 and can't compete with the championship teams for players and cardiff are in premier league after ince and wanyama and read today it could be false but they are linked with cardozo from benfica.
The good ones jumped ship! Did we have any good ones!
How can u say more dross to come in when the so called good ones got us relegated!
Don't you see? They are all good ones and will all be moving to Championship teams (apart from O'Hara who as he points out, will clealy be Premier-bound). How do they play so badly when you put them all together?
OK, you three disagree-ers, you think you are right and all these other footy managers are wrong? You think the players we want rid of are going to go to teams no higher than Walsall? (And even they might be higher than us soon).
There is a malaise in the club that makes potentially decent players play poorly. Unless you have another explanation?

Even so I'm sure we didn't agree to sell him for peanuts. I like Sako and unlike others think he deserves his move to the Prem but at a fair price.
I don't think they discussed how much he'd be sold for. Sako has made out that this was a verbal agreement with the management at the time. The guy has shown respect to the club and it's fans and gave his all every time he played last season. If he was told he could move if we were'nt promoted then we let him move and wish him all the best. Not sure about dropping the asking price though. I think the minimum has to be £3.5 million.
Having read the transfer gossip on the tv text yesterday and seen the prices players exchange for within the top european clubs if we're only asking £5m for Sako or even 6 Fulham should put up or shut up. £5-6m is a far cry from fees over £20m.
No wonder the money stays within the top clubs they don't pay good money for any other clubs players.
Sako is not worth £4m - £2.5m at most. In my view he will be lost in the prem.

tv are claiming that Sako has agreed personal terms with Fulham in a £4m pound deal.
Obviously we were never would or should have kept him, but if there's truth in it, I would have hoped for a bit more bartering.
