As far as all these Zeli Ismail rumours and debates go, it might be a good idea if a few more fan go and have a look at him for their selfs in the reserves as I think your all going to be very shocked and not in a good way.
I went yesterday and people who have been sayin he was good need to watch him more reguarly cuz he looks like he has the talent but not much else most of his passes were terrible even short passes and then one free kick ended goin out 4 a throw in. then he only looks good sometimes while runnin at defenders

Watched him on LTV and CTV recently and I really can not see what all the fuss is about looks pretty average to me, I know a few who have seen him play as well and they have all said he's no where near as good as the hype suggests.
It would be interesting to know why he has turned down a new contract, is it because of the money or is some other club telling him to see out his remaining contract so they can get him for free, well free plus a bit of compensation.
FFS stop slating him.. he hasnt even played for us yet and your all onto him. i hope for his sake he dont get into 1st team cuz you lot will just get on his back

He looks good on the clips I'v seen on youtube but they are all from a while ago and they usually only show the best bits, but from what I'v been reading on sites like this and from hear say he hasn't got any better than he was at 14yrs old when all the press stuff broke.
TDW - the point is that some posters here have him chalked into the first team already, hailing him as our saviour. The OP was only saying that he's not as acomplished as others might have us believe.

I was in his year at school(same school)deansfield community school and when we was in yr 7 he was in the yr 9 and 10 footall team and played 2 years above at academy level(he got top goalscorer for school team and was amazing!not being one sided but he is very good and in a few years he will be nearly as good as kights even better maybe 1 weakness=stregnth
Zele is quality. Watched him loads. Think coz we've messed him abt so much with his contract and not give him a chance in 1st team, he just aint bothered anymore. So he aint putting the effort in like he used 2.. Cant blame him really. U can only play so much reserve football. Not like your playing 4 anything.
To much to risk in the 1st team if he's not good enough, the gaffa at Wolves would play him if they thought he was ready, to many people now saying they have seen him a few time and he ian't that good so perhaps we should be reading between the lines.

I read with interest Stale Solbakkens comments on the appointment of a new coach today. Particular interest is how he hints that the person he may well want could well be under contract. This fits in with a rumour i heard the other day that to be perfectly honest i had instantly rejected. That being the rumour that SS was trying to bring in a Player Coach to finish his playing days at Molineux and whilst developing his coaching and gaining qualifications. Now believe this or not and im 95% sure its true, SS has been spotted in the Mount Hotel with Kevin Phillips. Now before you all jump on your high horses and call me a Baggie, think about. SS hints that it might be someone under contract, and that it may be 2/3 months before anything can be done. If it were a coach in a job, then the transfer window does not come into play. So that would suggest it is a player under contract who cant move until Jan. As i said, the spotting of the Phillips and SS in the Mount is 95% true. And for those of you that dont know Phillips has one of his kids in the Wolves set at a young level. So thats another link. But he wouldnt be meeting with SS TO discuss his young son. Anyway, just thought i would let you know what i had heard.
Telford Wolf. {Ed011's Note - I'd originally assumed it was 2/3 months extra because of when the Norwegian Tippeligaen finished making Solbakkens's normal assistant Bard Wiggen available but the comments about us being after an English or "English-Style" coach has made me doubt this. I guess we'll have to wait and see though I guess but an interesting notion none the less.
Sammy Lee is contracted to Bolton at academy level they dont want him to go and there is a stand off at the mo regarding compensation.
Just a sad note about the passing of brian woolnough the football writer who used to chair hold the back page and then the sunday supplement on sky always had a good word for the wolves deepest regrets to his family on this sad day.
Top bloke , I liked Sunday supplement won't be the same now. Sad times

Don't you think it would be an interesting game of football if a sin bin was introuced. I think that if a player gets booked, they should go ito the sin bin for 5 minuits, then if the same player gets booked again they will be sent off. This happens in other sports, so why not football?.

Happens in Rugby so why not Football? Less extreme than sending someone off for (say) a second bookable offence. Send them off still for dangerous play, though.
According to the original post a second bookable offence means a sending off.
Yes I moved the goalposts. A sending off for a second bookable offence always seems harsh to me, given you can commit one per match for, what?, 5 matches is it before being suspended. 10 minutes in the sin bin would be better.
