We are looking at a new right sided player, believed to be either Leyton Orient star Dean Cox or recently released Southampton winger Steve De Ridder. In my personal opinion, both of these players would do a fantastic job for is in League 1. {Ed001's Note - considering De Ridder got his contract torn up so he could sign for Utrecht, which he did 5 days ago, I would suggest that is nonsense.}

My sources

1.) My god how many have we looked at how many in, go nowere has long has morgan owns the club

2.) Morgan for gods sake speak, surely you are still not sulking over last seasons protests. you own run? Our football club. Jackett speak are we genuinely trying to bring players in or is it the same broken promises. We are all for bringing in the kids but not virtually the whole team made up of them, it's not giving them a fair chance. the fire sale has now reached epic proportions we have no experience left, Sako will be gone this week, Doumbia now gone, we are left with the bare bones. 5000 supporters at Preston deserve better 10000 season ticket holders deserve better. tell us the truth you owe us that at least. the realist.

3.) Why when we need a left sided player?

4.) 07 Aug 2013 08:43:04
Though its good news that griffiths has signed a new deal from what we've seen so far he won't be scoring goals for wolves. Not through any fault of his own but the lack of creativity in the side of the 4 who played in midfield last night only ismail looked a threat davis not a creative player foley not a midfielder and forde not good eneough. Come on mr morgan youve taken eneogh out of our club time to put some money back in and back the manager. Its obvious this ain't gunna be the walk in the park some fans think these kids need some help for the first time in 3 years there's some optimism amongst the crowd don't waste it mr morgan embrace it so please stop taking us for a ride and show some ambition or head back to liverpool ps rip waggy that's 2 of the 70s holy trinity gone only jr left.

5.) We need to sign midfield isn't up to standard we have 4 decent strikers for this league yet none of them are getting the balls and the oppurtuntiys to score the only shots they are having are wild ones from where ever they pick the ball up.

Plus siggy is being wasted in rm

We need a rm, lm, cam or a creative midfielder

Sako will most likely leave and we don't have a lm forde played there last night and can only cross with his right foot pointless

Edwards is good as cam but he is so injury prone

I like Davies Evans and price and I think with time and correct coaching and experience they'll be class but ATM they don't have enough creativity we need goals and wins!

If stearman and elokobi are gna be injured to we need a new cb bath can't be expected to do it on his own

Come on wolves the suffering has to stop soon!

6.) Its the whole square pegs in round holes routine again. We need shape and we need to control games!

Have been told that the possible wolves deal for Shane Ferguson is a 1 year loan deal with a view to signing him next year, however this will only happen if we gain promotion. Also, wolves looking to bring back David Jones on a free transfer. We are also very keen on signing Jeremy Helan, this one however will be permanent straight away.
Kenny wants to develop a young team that has plenty of cover in all parts of the pitch.
Our strongest line up would be
Hennessey

Doherty-Ricketts-Batth-Elokobi/Helan

Sigurdarson-Edwards-Davis/Jones-Ferguson/Helan

Giffiths-Cassidy/McCalinden

In my opinion, this is a league 1 champions side and we have a good manager in Kenny. Come on Wolves!

My sources

1.) It's in the press he's going to bham on loan in next few days. hope we get him tho

2.) Siggy wants to play upfront he's a striker we should learn from are mistakes with ward to not play people out of position. Ferguson is set to go back to blues apparently and I wouldn't play Edwards if give doumbia or one of the young lads Evans or price a go

3.) None of these signings will happen, so forget it

4.) A fee has been agreed between Wolves and Man City for Jeremy Helan, it is a permanent move as City do not want to loan him out.

5.) Be great to get Helan, but if Champs sides are sniffing and he has already been on loan at Sheff Wed, it is going to be a tough one to pull off. Not getting my hopes up that's for sure after the Murphy issue.

6.) In our favour, I believe, is that we can afford to buy him. Not sure if any of the other interested parties can. But it's another case of hoping for the best and fearing the worst.

7.) Is that it one maybe two new players and the kids that's morgans masterplan

8.) I am sick and tired of hearing people moaning about lack of signings especially finishing it off with saying using the kids that's are master plan! Why don't u go etch are under 21s play see how good they are and realise the team we've taken to Scotland is noticeably better than last years with young talent who just need game time and experience. Me and most fans I talk to are so excited to see the likes if bath Davies price Evans Zeli Cassidy Ann's many more of them play and show hunger. Why do we need loads if signings! And why don't u relise were in league 1 were not going to buy loads of players and finally we have a massive squad which needs shipping on the 23 in Scotland for me is perfect with a lm and lb added I think that's all we need and then let the young talent not kids show is how god they really are.

People like u should stay away stop moaning and if your not happy go down the road

9.) We can afford to buy Ferguson and according to the scribes, Birmingham can't-yet he is still going to them-so you can forget Helan too

10.) So are we to forget last few years of insult from the owner of the club yes play the kids bugger all to lose but this club has money weres it gone I will never forgive morgan

11.) My fear is our kids will be bullied and intimidated on theitch. I think we need to bring in a couple of enforcers, bit like Alex Rae. Academy football is a non contact sport, and we are asking the lads to play in a cloggers league

12.) Kevin Davies on the radio this morning regarding his move to "promotion hopefuls" PNE. "Defenders in L1 know how to put themselves about. " I still maintain that we need a bit of steel in the side. We will not be allowed to play pretty football. ( mind you we haven't played pretty football for years, so no change there)

I have been told that we are contemplating a move for Paddy McCourt after being released from Celtic. In my opinion this would be a decent signing for a league 1 team

My sources

1.) He's player 66 games in 5 years! He's now 29 I feel his career is pretty much fizziling out

2.) It's not easy getting into the Celtic team. Maybe he should have left 5 years ago? I've kind of forgotten about him, but recall he used to be a useful player.

3.) Mouyokolo has signed a 1 year deal with Celtic! I am amazed as I thought his knees were shot through. Sochaux thought he was a goner too. Be interested to see how many games the Bhoys get out of him.

4.) Just because Celtic sign you, it doesn't mean you get a game. They keep a decent squad, and Mouyokolo won't be guaranteed a start even if he is fit.

Free agent, David Bentley.
Needs somewhere to resurrect his career could be decent in league 1, like to here your opinions

My sources

1.) Yes he could be decent in L1. But I suspect he'll find a higher-placed club, even if KJ wanted him. A Sako replacement maybe? But KJ says he wants 18-25 year olds. I've just checked, and Bentley is 28.

Just putting this out there, David Bentley on a free transfer.
Prem experience, good player for leaugue 1 team. Tell me what you guys think

My sources

1.) He's a player I tipped for the top when he was U17. He barely grazed it, but I think he is quality. Not sure he'll want to go to L1 and not in the age range or position KJ is looking for. Could be Marcus Bent all over again.
