Over run in midfield needed a tactical change should have took Armstrong off and put Belgrade on what does he do.
Changes the full backs!
Plus points João Gomes put in a massive amount of work and Sa great save.
I doubt that he would come but Thomas Frank would at least give us hope of getting back at the first attempt

I think the players had just comeback from a stag do in Belgrade! You’re right though, Wolves were totally dominated in the middle, Angel Gomes was truly awful, and RE hooks the wingbacks. I understand that Bellegarde wasn’t fully fit but he wasn’t needed for a full 90. I sometimes wonder if Edwards is just a bit thick.

Thomas Frank would be nice, but he won’t be managing Wolves anytime soon. He’ll enjoy his pay off and wait for a decent job.

No one could come in and turn this mess around. Not even Pep. Fosun are continually selling the better players and either not replacing them or recruiting cheap, inexperienced options.

Only consolation for me was not watching mgw walking off with his fingers in his ears. Rat face boy was better than what we'd got though.this is a mess that stinks of the mess that nearly saw the end of us.MAJOR FAN UPHEAVAL NEEDED OR IT'S GONE.

Great thread this afternoon which focuses the mind on our finances and present position.
In my opinion we have never recovered from the Covid measures in 2020 it ruined momentum on our Europa league run, it unsettled Nuno not being able to travel to Portugal and our strength is fans at Molineux both for support and revenue which was ruined by lockdown. None of this was the fault of anyone at our club up to then we had great momentum owners, management, players and fans pulling in the same direction.

I am hoping this transfer window is the start of a recovery as for the first time in a long while we controlled the situation and negotiated well both on incomings and outgoings. Let’s hope we can continue the improvement on and off the pitch. As a club and fanbase we know how hard relegation to the Championship is going to be and I hope we can stick together and fight the situation head on.COYW

Up to yesterday I thought it would be best to carry on with Rob to the end of the season but I agree with you Name he dropped an absolute clanger with 4 at the back yesterday. He stated in his post match interview he had learnt things from the first half performance which again is worrying as some of the failures were obvious and have been talked about on this platform for some while.

1. Hwang should be dropped doesn’t offer much going forwards makes calamitous mistakes going backwards failed to track back yesterday for the third goal.

2. Doc great servant to the club but cannot play in the prem as a full back.

3. We play better with 5 at the back

4. Mosquera has great energy and a danger going forwards but is impetuous and has a terrible mistake or sending off lurking at any moment.

5. Jo Gomes and Andre are similar players and if he wants to play Angel Gomes he needs to choose one or the other or drop Andre back in to centre back where he plays well.

I feel Robs had long enough to work with the players and realise their strengths and weaknesses. I checked yesterday for Wolves and Luton he has won 7 in 52 matches in the Prem. Let’s hope he makes the obvious changes from yesterday’s selection and he gets to 8 wins on Wednesday night against Forest.

On another note the club should give a refund to everyone who got soaked yesterday. As has been said before the Graham Hughes stand is unacceptable and the roof on the Stan Cullis doesn’t protect the seats at the front. Wolves fans deserve much better!
