Like the idea Hednesford but if he won't turn up he can't be put on a sheet and therefor not play any part. Question, how are the legalities and FA/League rules set to cover that sort of situation? A player registered to your club refuses to play in a cup game, does a subsequent employer get allowed to use him?. Ed (s)?

And further, if city decide they don't want a player who won't honour his contract if he decides he dosnt want to, and withdraw any offer, where does that leave us? because if nobody wants to risk millions on a ego we'd be lumbered.

in response to noddyboy I said the same when it happened that he waited until the 88th minute then got himself sent off as not to risk injury at the Everton game. I detested Gibbs -White but even he didn't go on strike, and don't want any player who dis respects the club and fans ever playing for us again total idiot. Again nothing like the conduct of Ruben who remained professional throughout. Nunes/Podence/Gudess all can do one and get uncle Jorge to sort them out with new clubs.

Phill789 Riyad mahres did exactly the same when city tryed to sign him on deadline day from leister but they stuck to the guns and said no

Yea noddy I suggested he engineered it himself on an earlier post, but he's only interested in himself, not the club not his fellow team mates, do city now really want that mentality now they can see his true attitude? I hope so because talks of him being reintroduced if it falls through isn't going to go down well is it.
