Food for thought for Nuno senc Coady up for corners and free kicks.
Proud as punch to be Wolves and for Coady.

Add to that Patricio captained Portugal after Ronaldo went off yesterday and Saiss is the current captain of Morocco, Adama making his debut for Spain and being praised by Luis Enrique, it's been a very good week for Wolves players.

Really strange to see our skipper in the opposing penalty area. Whatever next? Neves in the six-yard box!

Pity there’s not a certain guy from Tamworth to celebrate with us Jas.

Lets be honest here it wasn't only PT that's been moaning about Connor lately! Someone was saying the other day that he's been punching since we got to the Prem (after WHU result unsurprisingly) . He signed a new contract a couple of days later and thank goodness he did! Classic case of having a player SO long you take um for granted (cough Lee Naylor cough:) We are SO lucky to have one of the best captains in the league, I didn't say the most gifted granted but EVERY club wants a captain like our Connor! Over the moon for the lad! COYW 👍.

He's in esteemed company. Billy Wright, Stan Cullis, Ron Flowers and now Conor Coady. All captained England whilst playing for little old Wolves.

Forgot about Emlyn Hughes. Thought he retired from England duty before he signed for us but apparently not.

What made Coadys goal even sweeter it was scored against that Judas Henneysey.

Spot on as always Jas (good to have you back buddy:) he's now one of a proud line of Wolves men to carry the armband! I don't care if he was born in Liverpool, Connors a wolf and if there's one thing he knows its how to lead a pack! The strength of the Wolf is in the pack! COYW 🐺.

Nuno you have been playing Coady out of position all these years but you knew captain material when you saw it!?
