Why look back on past players we have quality already in Sakos position we don't need him, no sensible business would spend to get cover on a area they already have well covered.
We do have too many players, we are just going to have to be patient I mean we've been patient for years now another one isn't going to hurt.

Spot on, WOLVES 4 LIFE. the defence and striker situation is not going to go away and although early days I would of expected some talk about some serious money being invested on players they have lined up, let's not forget although we are getting better we are still only 5 points of relegation and it's no good playing better than other teams and not taking points with the position we are in, we should of took 6 points over Xmas but we only took the one, that tells me it's not going to go away until we address the situation.

Seems that way, apparently a 16 year old Rochdale player who has made 6 first team appearances. If as it says we are trimming the squad then surely as soon as the transfer window opened we should have sent the loanees back such as John and tex if we aren't using them. Don't think much will happen this window and the teams around us will strengthen. Can't really blame PL though as he can only buy what Thelwell says he can buy. He is in a really tough position but I am happy with what he is doing.

Not what Lambert has said Pompey. He has said that if he does not get what he wants then there is no point in him being here and he will walk. He has done it before with Blackburn so hopefully Thelwell will butt out and stay with the kids and leave the men to PL.

If the Rochdale romours true then it's a contradiction of what PL said about how he'd invest. All fun and games building youth for future but we've done that year on year and look at what we've been left with Iorfa Hause in defense. Let's cut the bull and put money where mouth is. we need a few statements of intent to show we mean business. Even if we make bids and fail least it shows intent. Yes it's the 3rd of Jan. but as they have not hid the fact we need to invest then surely common sense would have met they get deals over the line nice and early.

Why is everyone moaning? We will sign the youngster from Rochdale and never play him. In a few years time we will sell him and he will become amazing. I bet he can't wait to sign on the dotted line.
