Latest is interest in Cody from Newcastle and the Shittees down the road. No way does this have legs, Fosun won't risk millions on a short term profit on Cody. On yer bike!

1.) 11 Jan 2018 18:55:50
Only way we'll sell him is if we don't get promoted. therefore he ain't going anywhere.

2.) 11 Jan 2018 19:30:38
Why would he even half consider going to the poorthawns? He doesn’t want to play in the Championship.

He’s captain of probably the best team this division has ever seen, why would he want to lower himself.

3.) 11 Jan 2018 19:35:30
He would be losing out if he does leave just because if he goes to any of them they ar both kind of in relegation battle where with us promotion look a definite now on the cards.

4.) 12 Jan 2018 10:21:20
Got to say along with Boly, Coady is by far one of our most important players at the min, and he loves the wolves, model pro and has genuine passion for us, he won’t be going anywhere.

5.) 12 Jan 2018 15:46:42

02 Jan 2018 21:37:35
Kortney Hause on, can't see him going.

1.) 03 Jan 2018 10:07:07
Not necessarily an omen.

01 Jan 2018 19:51:33
I hope the latest rumour regarding Kortney Hause is wrong unless a substantial fee is involved. He played great against Man City and £2.5 m isn't enough for a lad of his potential, sooner see Baath and Miranda go.

1.) 01 Jan 2018 19:59:11
Would like to see Jordan Graham play in the team or a least given a chance.

2.) 01 Jan 2018 23:00:56
Why fix something that's not broke.

3.) 01 Jan 2018 23:05:39
He has an attitude problem full stop.
Problem at Villa
Problem here
Now a problem at Fulham just check how many times he has played for them.
Doesn't fit our style of play end of.

4.) 01 Jan 2018 23:24:22
I agree that Hause mustn’t be allowed to leave. We need him. I actually don’t think any of our main 6 defenders will leave but if any did I’d want it to be Batth.

As for Jordan Graham I believe there are things we don’t know about with him which might explain why despite all his undoubted talent Nuno showed him the door almost as soon as he arrived. I see he also hasn’t started for Fulham in the 4 months he’s been there which again seems strange. Don’t forget too that Villa allowed him to leave and join us as a youngster. I wonder if there’s an attitude problem or, worse, an addiction problem?

Incoming? One striker - maybe two? - and a right wing back. James Tavernier from Rangers?

5.) 01 Jan 2018 23:35:47
Hause should stay- a lot of talent and could be what we need instead of coady at the back in the prem. coady is unbelievable but I question his speed and how he could get turners against the best. Maybe not though.

Graham was part of the clique last season that knew they would get on the team sheet if fit. He wa sgood mates with dicko and Iorfa. Neither are at the club as they weren’t dedicated to becoming the best like this new crop are.

6.) 02 Jan 2018 10:49:28
Still a talented player reminds me of a zaha.

7.) 02 Jan 2018 18:32:40
Think Nuno looked at those who did not fully apply themselves in his first few weeks and moved them out. Hause was injured for most of pre-season. If he has applied himself subsequently he won’t be sold, if not then he’ll be off. It’s his way or no way and that is what has engendered the team spirit that is so apparent. Personally like Hause but not as the central one in a back three, better suited to the left berth filled by Boly at present. If Porto recalled Bol y as has been mentioned then would like to see Hause given a chance there.

30 Dec 2017 09:12:33
Sky Sports reckon Wolves are 4 out of 5 to sign Locadia in the transfer window.

1.) 30 Dec 2017 15:10:32
Currently injured?

2.) 31 Dec 2017 21:52:26
Everyday in the sky sports news app it lists the top ten transfer rumours, locadia to wolves has been mentioned there almost everyday for the last month or so.

27 Nov 2017 16:19:41
I can't believe the rumours I am reading, Saiss a Liverpool target, Coady for Newcastle or the Tesco bags. Both are under contract, Wolves are top of the Championship and Jeff Shi has great ambition. Just journalists making up stories to sell papers in my opinion. Can't imagine why any of the players would want to move on just before the promised land arrives. To all those trying to stir the pot, TAKE A HIKE!

1.) 30 Nov 2017 22:47:53
No one will leave right now, I think we will sign Bonatini in January and loan another player. None of the other loans will want to sign just yet. I know it would upset us all but honestly I don't think Jota will sign even if we go up. I mean think to yourself, would you rather live in Wolverhampton or Madrid? A curse Wolves will always have. I love our team but we will never be a shining beacon to players as long as it is a rubbish hole.

2.) 01 Dec 2017 07:13:17
Agree mutiny always a problem outside of london signing world class players in our defence manchester is a bigger rubbish hole than w'ton fosun got the money they eould have to throw the bank at it to sign the best players.

3.) 01 Dec 2017 13:01:09
What so good about the Manchester area that's a dump.

4.) 01 Dec 2017 18:46:50
Most the Manchester players live in Cheshire, but yeah, its certainly not Madrid! Just think Wolvo ain't somewhere I'd want to relocate my family if I had millions in the bank, hopefully that can change though with the team making people take notice of us, maybe even uncle Jeff could be convinced to invest a little in the city :)

5.) 01 Dec 2017 19:21:03
Look west of wolvo an ya got 50 miles of beautiful countryside, Not sure what ya saying? under visions of grandeur will they leave.

6.) 01 Dec 2017 19:45:50
If the money is right and there’s no one else interested they will stay.

7.) 01 Dec 2017 20:06:54
Some nice affluent places in w'ton every town city in the country full of immigrants past and present sure the older folk can educate me in 50's my parents moved out of wolvo town centre as most did when immigrants came over after the war as an educated guess they came to w'ton because there was work and money. proud to be bought up in wolves and my post mutiny went off from your point of sunny madrid to wolvo but I am a die hard humble bloke from wolverhampton.1 thing in our favour is the other big club in west midlands villa (there 3 really but I h8 wba and didn't want to mention them) is villa is a nightmare to get to everyday with the traffic on motorways where as wolves is a lot less stress and hassle to get to yraining everyday. lol I gone on one up early in mirn so got nothing better to do 😀.

8.) 04 Dec 2017 11:29:40
Ignore the city centre. There's some beautiful places to live within a reasonable commute to the city. You're within a 2 hour commute to London and even less to Manchester so not as bad as some may think to attract players but still you're right, Madrid over anywhere in this country if you have the money they have. For others bashing Manchester it's vastly improved over recent years but players live in Alderly Edge, Wilmslow etc which are really nice parts of this country.

9.) 17 Dec 2017 19:32:16
Madrid has many poor areas - Wolverhampton is a nice city with good air, rail and road connections - the countryside is excellent, so not a limit to new players who can buy country manor houses to live in!

Stop the negativity and remember we have lost only 4 league games all season so far. It was never going to be a stroll in the park when the pressure came on. Two draws in a row and it's all doom and gloom. Remember half the remaining games are against bottom half sides. O. K. they may have something to fight for but they are where they are for a reason and if Wolves deserve Premier League they should be able to do the business. That in itself should see promotion. The other games are against top half, in particular away against Cardiff, Villa and Fulham. Can't see us losing all of these, draws maybe and the odd loss but this should see us home. Don't turn on the players now, they don't deserve your criticism but your continued support. Get behind them and roar them to the finish line.

1.) 22 Feb 2018 08:46:46
Well said wollabby . 👏👍.

2.) 22 Feb 2018 08:53:22
Quite right Wollabby. We can't win every game. The next 4 fixtures are critical, with us having tough games and by comparison Cardiff having easier ones. We can come through this still out in front and from then on life is a little easier. We need to hold steady and grind out points in these games if need be and not allow Cardiff to nose in front. Then we can play great football and win the league in style. it's all there. no moaning now. no time to get flakey. get behind the Wolves!

3.) 22 Feb 2018 15:20:41
Hope you are right, Wollabby. I am nervous about those 6-pointers. Our record against the top teams isn't so good. It's essential we bag the points against the others.

4.) 22 Feb 2018 16:53:34
beat villa beat derby beat fullham 4 points from bristol city not to shabby I think.

20 Feb 2018 21:47:12
Oh dear me the Vile are coming to get us to take the Championship - only at snails pace.

17 Feb 2018 21:45:52
So Cardiff are now our nearest rivals with 61 points from 32 games, just under 2 points a game. If they maintain this level of performance ( doubtful IMO) that would mean another 27 points from their remaining 14 games. That totals 88 points.
Wolves have 72 points so it would seem another 17 would do the job. Six wins would do it so let's start with 3 points from Norwich next Wednesday!

1.) 17 Feb 2018 22:09:30
Wollabby, you have the same mind set as I do!
Keep checking the remaining fixtures for the top 4.
Will be glad when it is settled and I can watch some matches when the pressure is off!

2.) 18 Feb 2018 09:21:57
Just keep maintaining the gap, if it is 10 points or more with 3 games to go it won't matter what the others are doing!

3.) 18 Feb 2018 13:50:53
There's nothing to worry about none of the chasing pack are consistent enough to catch us it's so hard to keep winning when you're top so it shows how well we are doing. There's been a lot of people who said you can't win this league playing football and you need a British manager with championship experience to succeed well we've got Nuno and I'm sorry but he's took the Michael this season.

Wolves are by far the best team the championship as ever seen yes we might not beat Readings total of 106 points, but nobody has ever had the nerve to play the kind of football we have this season I still can't believe what I'm watching sometimes even yesterday some of the passing play was unreal bring on Norwich Wednesday. IN NUNO WE TRUST.

4.) 18 Feb 2018 18:31:47
I do believe the league is stronger in depth now than when Reading won with 106. Saw them early doors down the Mol` that season and went back home saying I had just seen a team that will walk that league. This Wolves team is a class above. Well done to all the players, Nuno and the coaching/ backroom staff.

5.) 18 Feb 2018 19:33:06
I agree there is no consistency from the chasing pack to be able to worry us, I don't believe we will drop enough points whilst the others gain enough to trouble us.
We just need to continue doing our own work and we will be ok.
We have some tough away games yet to play but if I'm honest I do think we will take points away from some of them, we do better away against the teams who come at us and these teams obviously will.
11 points is a massive cushion, many of us will start to panic if that gets reduced but we shouldn't.
Each game at a time, we will be fine.

17 Feb 2018 17:45:04
Avoided a banana skin today, this was one of my list of doubtful games and a point is a good result. I see Ruddy is coming in for some stick but no problem Norris can step in if needed. Onward and upward. And Villa lost!

1.) 17 Feb 2018 18:31:42
Good result today a point away from home is always a good point Preston are a decent side with a in your face approach this is the kind of side we have struggled with this season. Looking forward to the next two both footballing teams and these are the kind of games we've played our better football against a point closer boys soon be time to crack open the champagne. IN NUNO WE TRUST.

2.) 17 Feb 2018 18:37:50
Read a lot of criticism of ruddy after today. Was he really that bad? Also Afobe seems to be getting stick for doing 'nothing' comments please as I obviously wasn't there.

3.) 17 Feb 2018 18:39:05
5 more wins should be enough for promotion🙏.
Good point today, win wednesday hopefully then the finishing line i'm site.
Coming to the time of year where we need to grinde out results like today.
don't forget some of our players haven't missed a game all season off the top of me head.

COYW. 😀🙏. GodBless and hold on tight.

4.) 17 Feb 2018 20:06:43
Tough game today and probably a fair result, they've only lost six games this season, so maybe they can do us a favour in the coming weeks,
Personally I didn't think ruddy was bad today, although he was shocking in the second half against QPR,
But a good point today.

5.) 17 Feb 2018 21:28:29
Didn't see him today but overall I do like Ruddy, for me there isn't a better shot stopper in the Champ! Where he struggles is in his decision making which can be shaky and that in turns knocks onto affect both his and the teams confidence in him to command the area! It is one of those catch 22's mind as if he didn't have said weakness then we wouldn't even have him as he would of been snapped up to the Prem because the rest of his game is fairly solid. For me if/ when we sort auto with games to spare I would like to see some rotation and part of that would be a couple of starts for Norris (and Gibbs for that matter) . I suspect though that we will sign another experienced keep in the next window as more established competition which probably wouldn't be a bad thing in the Prem. I do hope we keep Norris mind, from the limited games I've seen he looks like a VERY good prospect for what in keepers terms is a fairly young player. COYW.

12 Feb 2018 10:29:54
Norwich, Reading Burton, Hull, Birmingham, Sheffield Wednesday plus Bolton and Sunderland away. As well as the other away games which I doubt will all be losses. It's all looking good!

1.) 12 Feb 2018 14:05:51
There's been nobody to touch us all season more home and away wins than any team more goals scored and less conceded than any team and we're the only team average well over 2pts a game. We should fear nobody we can go anywhere and win this is not only the best wolves team I've seen in 30 years of watching championship football this is the best team the championship as ever seen. Nuno as got us playing a style of football never seen at this level we have got nothing to worry about we'll get a 100pts no problem. IN NUNO WE TRUST.

2.) 12 Feb 2018 17:36:52

More FFP, Fake Football Predictions. There is no way WW will disturb a squad under contract in the current position. Acquisitions maybe exits of the main squad- no way.

I really don't get it, one late loss of 2 points and it's all doom and gloom. There must be a spate of self flagilation and deep depression in Wolverhampton these days. Get positive we have 7 games against the bottom half of the League and we won't lose all of the other 6. If we do we don't deserve to go up automatically.
Come to think of it self flagilation and deep depression was the order of the day when I left Wolverhampton 35 years ago. Must be something in the genes.

Trouble is most British Managers are thugs and that's the sort of football they play. Try Warnock, Holloway and Pulis as well as Neill, Bruce and that guy at Birmingham, Cotterill, as a few examples. It's always someone else's fault if they don't win and the kick them off the pitch tactics don't work. A home nation will never win the World Cup while these ignorant tossers are allowed to get away with it. Suggest WW just continue to out skill them and make them look as stupid as they are.

Billy, it's called dual focus. It's great that Wolves are doing well and after years of supporting the Club, I like others, are rightfully on cloud nine. Long may it continue! However the enjoyment is enhanced by seeing the Tesco bags in disarray. I used to know a guy who supported WBA and sent me a framed photo of Wolves 5-1 defeat a few seasons ago, so I reckon it's my turn to enjoy his discomfort now and I intend to dine out on it!

With their senior professionals nicking taxis what chance do they have. Relegation beckons, Pardew was a disasterous appointment as I said at the time. Second best news I have heard in some time. Best of course is 12 point lead with 15 games to go. Come on let's see Preston off!
